Neymar's problems are Neymar's problems. I do not understand the strategy of PSG who want to get rid of him before Messi - in my opinion they have already received all the profits (PR, shirt sales, etc.) from the transfer of Messi and then he will only pull the team to the bottom. If they want to start updating the team, then they definitely shouldn’t start with Neymar.
It's true that this is rationally not logical enough now but the problem for now is that Al-Khelaifi doesn't seem to be expecting Neymar now and this is what makes the indications he will leave are getting bigger.
Regardless of the losses or gains this doesn't seem to have much effect on Al-Khelaifi. PSG's attitude towards Neymar is now indifferent and this will obviously make the player uncomfortable.

Bayern Munich decision not to extend Tolisso contract is the right thing in my opinion, because Tolisso has often been injured so he has not been able to make a big contribution to Bayern Munich, I don't know the reason for OL decision to sign him again, because even though he is still young but his performance so far every season has continued to decline, especially since Corentin Tolisso injury history will be  hampered his later performance with OL.

Maybe they think they will be able to sell Tolisso again in the future, as they did when they sold Tolisso to Bayern Munich. And actually, Tolisso's age is still relatively young for a footballer. If he shines again while playing with Lyon, it is not impossible that Lyon will get profit again when there are clubs who want to buy him Cheesy. In addition, Lyon also got Tolisso for free.

Maybe what you said could be a reason for OL to re-sign him, because in the past Bayern Munich recruited Tolisso indeed because of his pretty good performances with OL and made Bayern munchen dare to pay a lot at that time, but I think bayern munchen is not Chelsea who really has a passion to buy back the players they have sold before, moreover, they have labeled the player a failure  Grin, in my opinion even though Tolisso is still young but his injury history makes it difficult for him to find his best form at this time, and maybe next season he will only spend as much time on the treatment table as when he was with Bayern Munich, to be honest, I doubt that Tolisso will be able to make a lot of significant contributions on later OL performance.

I think the main reason is that he did not give the result that was expected from him. Any other club would keep Neymar as he is still good and doesn't fall below a certain level, but PSG will go over different players until they hit the target and the money is not important to PSG. The only thing that surprises me is that they are trying to get rid of Neymar before Messi. Neymar is much more useful than Messi and he is much younger than him.
Neymar is not a bad player but he does not reach to his best. Even his stats in PSG last few seasons is very good, he still does not meet demand from PSG boss and even does not reach what he wanted when he decided to leave Barcelona.

He left Barcelona in order to get out of Messi domination but in PSG, now he is no longer a biggest star there. It belongs to Mbappe. It is a failure for Neymar from personal to club level.

Messi has yet to adapt to the PSG team. Because the previous season the PSG team had various internal problems. Their match strategy was weak. The mutual understanding between the players was not good. Hopefully Messi will play better with PSG next season. Neymar, on the other hand, is completely different. Neymar has been with PSG for several years. And every season he has been badly injured. So he could not stay with the squad for half the season. This may be the reason why PSG management does not want to keep Neymar in the team.

Lyon will only lose if Tolisso is unavailable throughout the season, but if he gets the time and space then Lyon have nothing to lose signing him. Last season Tolisso did not get enough playing time at Bayern Munich and he only appeared 15 times with 2 goals. Maybe not a bad result for a midfielder like him because it's actually a statistic worth considering.

To be honest I don't know this player very well, but after looking at his stats, I can say that he is a midfielder who might be useful for Lyon. Regarding adaptation, I probably won't say much because Tolisso is a former midfielder who had a career at Lyon before. So he should be fine there.

Most ins and outs these season is mainly to gain full fitness and prepare for the world Cup. Tollisio had won it all at Bayern Munich.
He lacks game time, I don't expect him to continue further, move was what's expected, glad he did. He has already been announced by the club as a new player.

Galtier is really going to become the new PSG manager then huh. PSG don't seem to be likely to find another manager than Galtier for now I'm afraid. It is really difficult to make a prediction about Galtier's future at PSG. Winning the Ligue 1 title with Lille while there is a team like PSG in the same league is a big success of course. But he hasn't been one of the most successful managers too. This is a big question mark about him and I hope he is a right choice for the team.
I actually thought PSG were going for Zidane,a manager that everybody knows he is good at his job,he would have been the perfect man to take PSG to the next level, now they have chosen another coach, just because he made Lille the champions. To me,that coach will not be able to manage big players like Messi,Mbape or Neymar,he might be able to do well in a team like Lille, but a team like PSG,where high profile players are much, might be difficult for him to manage.
It has been discussion before that actually PSG want Zidane but seems he still not interested to train this team even on press conference he said the time is not right for him to accept PSG offers and besides that reason the rumours is Zidane have personal ambition want to be the next manager of France national team and after this news then Christophe Galtier appears as the new name of PSG manager and i think he have hard task because PSG want champion league title but for European competitions he had lack of experience moreover PSG internal situations also not really good especially after Neymar rumours

Galtier deal is done, Neymar is in talks of leaving, what's going on with PSG? At the end of the last year we were seeing them as a team who would be fighting for UCL next season easily. By the looks of it, with them not getting a world famous name manager, and not considering to keep Neymar, it looks like maybe they are quite happy about being a team that will win Ligue and have a good fight at UCL and that's it.

There are teams like that in the world, teams that like to fight for their own titles, and then try to go above the group stage every year on champions league and be happy with that. Will PSG just focus on that from now on? That would be terrible.

I don't see any reason to think that Neymar's performance at PSG is good. Since joining PSG, Neymar has spent most of the season injured. During his time at Barcelona, Neymar has averaged more than 30 La Liga appearances each season. But in Ligue 1, he is not able to perform in 20 matches. Since PSG has spent a lot of money to get Neymar in the team, I would say that PSG could not benefit from Neymar's performance.
Injuries made many players look useless to their team or at least less important like Dembele in Barcelona...
For Neymar, the situation is complicated. He is ready to leave PSG if asked, there is many teams that want him to join them like Newcastle, Chelsea, Juve... He prefer to play with Barcelona and Xavi want him too but the problem remains his salary and the transfer fees. The other alternative is a loan although PSG prefer a transfer.
PSG president wants him to leave too but the new coach of PSG wants him to stay! It is a mess there Wink

Olympique Lyon have signed Corentin Tolisso on a free transfer as the Frenchman failed to extend his contract with the Bundesliga giant. The 27years old midfielder will be offer a new opportunity in his former team which he left for Bayern few years ago. Corentin Tolisso will impressed the team and fans with his incredible key passes and finally balance the midfield actions of OL. Tolisso will sign a long term contract with Olympique Lyon which will be valid till June 2027.
It is a really good deal for lyon team their performance last season was really poor and they really need improvements in the miedfield i think he will make a perfect trio with paqueta and aouar but i don't really know if its the perfect move for the player since lyon team will not be playing in the european competition next season.

The reason why PSG are willing to sell Neymar now must be his performance related. He is getting injured very often also but I don't think that it's the only reason. I think that it would still be good for the team that sign Neymar now. Teams like Chelsea and Juventus are also after him as it seems. I would like to see him in Chelsea's squad actually as I believe he would be nice for the Premier League. Chelsea are a good team for him too as he can show his skills well. But he would cost quite much for them so we will see if they will still be willing about this.
Whatever the reason PSG threw away Neymar, of course, raises a lot of question marks for all of us, because so far Neymar has never been rumored to be leaving nor having problems with PSG's management, but after mbappe has great authority at PSG now it seems PSG are starting to look for ways to get rid of Neymar from the squad, now it seems like it will be difficult for other teams to sign Neymar because maybe the price set by PSG will later be very high, besides that Neymar also has a fairly high salary so far at PSG and other teams will rethink to sign him considering his age now.
I'm really surprised by PSG's decision to kick Neymar.  Neymar's performance with PSG is not too bad.  I see, at this time PSG already have material that is very extraordinary, it's just that they don't have a coach who is commensurate.  PSG officials should focus more on finding a coach who already has a classy track record, like Zinedine Zidane.  The presence of a great coach like Zidane will of course be able to reduce the selfishness of the star players and will make the dressing room calm.

Perhaps Nasser Al-Khelaifi will keep Neymar at PSG for one more season and give him a chance. If Neymar fails to play well next season, then PSG boss Nasser Al-Khelaifi is no longer interested in Neymar. We heard some rumors that Chelsea is looking to sign Neymar this season. But today Jason Cundy(former Chelsea defender)  has made some derogatory remarks regarding taking. He says Neymar is an overrated player. And he doesn't want to see Neymar in the Chelsea squad. Even Chelsea management may not be interested in signing Neymar now.
Regardless of why PSG wanted to let Neymar go, I believe it was a well thought out option. Neymar is a player who has made an outstanding contribution to any team he has played for, Santos and Barcelona are teams that have had success with this player. Now that he is at PSG, he is also good although not everyone likes him.

If Chelsea were really interested in signing him, I'm sure the voice of his former defender wouldn't make much difference. But I'm not sure if he's good enough to play in the Premier League. It will be more likely to see him in Laliga again or in Serie A and the next few seasons.

So Olympique Lyon will sign a failed player? LOL, I think this will be a bad decision for Olympique Lyon, especially after seeing the term of his contract which is until 2027. Bayern never fail to see the potential of a player, let alone a player who is still relatively young like Tolisso, when they don't want to extend his contract, it means he is not a potential player and will only waste the club's money.

I was really scandalized to see that management of PSG wants to kick out Neymar at every cost. In some part I've read that they will spend something like 200 m € to kick him out, and I would like to understand why
because neymar is absolutely a good player, and with Mbappe could do great things for the next years. I've already heard something about his discpline but I don't think that it will be decisive for letting him stay or not.
Has PSG benefited by keeping Neymar in the team? PSG pays a lot of wages to Neymar every year. But they are not getting the expected performance from Neymar. In the last 5 seasons, Neymar has played only 82 matches in Ligue 1. Mbappe has played 66 matches in the last 2 seasons. And so PSG management is now considering it a waste of money to pay Neymar high wages. So I think it is the right decision to remove Neymar from the team.
Neymar is such a high quality player that selling him or "getting rid of him" is not really an ideal situation for any player. Yes, he hasn't been around and yes he missed plenty of games so far, both of those are correct statements.

But you need just one season, one season of him playing at his absolute best and along with Mbappe, that would be crucial beast playing that will get them the UCL cup. They do not even need him to play during the regular season domestic league, they just need him for the last 10 games of the champions league, if they win those, they would be fine with him playing zero games in ligue1, would be weird but still happy situation.

Perhaps Nasser Al-Khelaifi will keep Neymar at PSG for one more season and give him a chance. It shouldn't be for me because actually PSG have spent too much money on some of their star players without a single European achievement like the Champions League. I think that would be the most plausible reason why PSG would try to sell Neymar to another interested team.
-snip

not just that, he is not that popular anymore, and that means less jerseys and t-shirts sold, which accounts for team profit

they are losing all CL kick-out matches, and that will probably not change with Neymar leaving, they need years to get to the point were you are winning European matches, even you are not playing great
it is a question do the owners have patience to wait those years to pass, for them to become big club, not just in France
