I was really scandalized to see that management of PSG wants to kick out Neymar at every cost. In some part I've read that they will spend something like 200 m € to kick him out, and I would like to understand why

because neymar is absolutely a good player, and with Mbappe could do great things for the next years. I've already heard something about his discpline but I don't think that it will be decisive for letting him stay or not.

Well this has become difficult indeed for Neymar and it is very natural that he has to leave no matter what happens at this time especially there are some points that are unavoidable because the long-term project for PSG is now centered on Mbappe.
There have been several rumors that he will go to the EPL but there is still no further confirmation. But indeed there are several clubs who want him like Chelsea, Manchester United and even another rich club namely Newcastle.

Has PSG benefited by keeping Neymar in the team? PSG pays a lot of wages to Neymar every year. But they are not getting the expected performance from Neymar. In the last 5 seasons, Neymar has played only 82 matches in Ligue 1. Mbappe has played 66 matches in the last 2 seasons. And so PSG management is now considering it a waste of money to pay Neymar high wages. So I think it is the right decision to remove Neymar from the team.

PSG have been silent so far in the transfer window but there is still a long time for the end of it. They have signed only Nuno Mendes so far after his loan deal with PSG has finished. The transfer fee was 38 million euros. He is a good and very young left-back so the deal is a good investment for the future. Maybe PSG are waiting for their manager in next season to be determined before going for some targets. Because Pochettino's targets might not match the targets of a possible new manager.

@Distraction it seems that there’s a lot going behind the scenes because it’s been reported that PSG told Neymar that he’s no longer wanted, and with no fixed coach I wonder who’s making these kind of decisions and based on what facts do you tell a player like Neymar to just leave?.

Lastly I feel that they spend a lot to keep Mbappe and it’s effected their spending power, so unless Neymar leaves I don’t expect them to make major signings cause they already have a quality squad, and don’t really need fresh additions in this transfer window.

Maybe they try to close issues with their coach position. After that they will be actively on transfer market. They have a good squad and don't actually need to buy too many more players. 2 or 3 players are enough for PSG to strengthen their competitiveness in Champions League. In addition, they are planning to sell Neymar and would like to use money from this transfer for their transfers in this summer. Lot of things are in waiting mode and Neymar can be a first domino in Paris.

At the moment, his move to Monaco is almost a perfect decision: Monaco plays in the Champions League, Monaco has chances for the top 2 of Ligue 1, which means he will play in a team that will dominate the opponent in most games and he will be able to score a lot of goals. For a career restart, this is the best transition you could think of.
It is good for many reasons.

He can play in Champions League that is dream for Asian players.
He can have a better position and will be able to play more matches than in Liverpool.
He can secure his position in Japan squad for the coming World Cup.

If he plays well in Monaco, his career will be revived in Monaco and he will still be one of successful Japanese players in Europe.

Choosing Ligue 1 is a good decision of Takumi Minamino. Even this league is less competitive than Premier League, it is still in top 5 leagues in the Europe. Monaco is a club that is very good for potential players to improve, shine and move to bigger clubs. They are like a transitional club for potential players.

Takumi played well in Salzburg but the transfer to Liverpool is a failure with him. He spent last couple of years in Premier League and failed to get a position there. I think Takumi is more relevant for La Liga but Ligue 1 is not too bad.

Monaco needed a worthy replacement after the sale of Aurélien Tchouameni. Takumi Minamino may be able to adapt well to Monaco. I saw Takumi Minamino's performance. He has scored 10 goals in 15 matches in World Cup qualifiers. I think he will play well in Monaco.
Of course, Monaco will need to consider a good replacement after Aurélien Tchouameni joined Real Madrid. Even though Minamino is the latest signing for the winger, Monaco still need a commensurate replacement for the position vacated by Aurélien Tchouameni. Monaco so far have had a lot of midfielders, Youssouf Fofana is one of the best there apart from Aurélien Tchouameni who left Monaco. So now Monaco will need a good midfielder although Eliot Matazo and Jean Lucas could replace Aurélien Tchouameni later.

Aurelien Tchouameni is still very young, only 22 years old. He still has a long way to go to prove himself as the best midfielder. Expensive prices do not guarantee a player can perform well with his new club, Eden Hazard is one example.
I certainly won't regret mentioning some other expensive players didn't perform as expected for their team, Coutinho and Dembele are two other names whose price tag is above 100 million but they can't prove much for Barcelona.

Tchoemani has yet proven that he can become a super star like Mbappe or Haaland and I am surprised to see an expensive transfer of Tchoemani to Real Madrid.
No matter how good a defensive midfielder a team has, they will often be isolated when a striker or winger scores a lot of goals in a season. Defensive midfielders are difficult to be the best players and I haven't even seen one of them win the Ballon d'Or so far. Messi and Ronaldo have dominated the award since 2008, Modric is the only midfielder to break the chain of dominance between the two players. Besides that I think only Fabio Cannavaro (defender) won the Ballon d'Or in 2006 and he's the only defender to have won it in the last 21 years.

So I think it's true that Aurélien Tchouaméni's current high price tag will not make him a star player. He is not a striker or a player who can score a lot of goals, and that will prevent him from being better than other players like Vinicius, Rodrygo and some other strikers but it is still possible he will be better than other defensive midfielders at Real Madrid.
Who does not know Xavi Hernandez and Andres Iniesta, they are the best midfielders in the history of Football, both of whom are also the motor of Barcelona's attack. They are also very clever in finding gaps when sending through balls that end up being goals. Despite the many assists that were created, the trophies that were won, both of them struggled to win the Ballon d'Or because of their position as a midfielder.

I'm happy to see that Minamino has found a team for himself in which he can have a much bigger playing time. His last season performance was really good when he had the opportunity and this must have been effective for Monaco to make a clear decision about him. Minamino isn't an old player also (27). He can serve the team long years as long as he doesn't have serious problems. He has played in Japan, Austria and the UK so far but not in France. It is going to be a new atmosphere for him but I believe he will adapt there also.

Monaco has officially announced that 27-year-old Takumi Minamino is their new player. Minamino agreed to a contract for 4 years until June 2026
offered by Monaco. Minamino's move to Monaco in my opinion is a good decision for Minamino's career, because since Liverpool signed in 2020,
Minamino failed to compete to become the main squad at Liverpool. Therefore, during his time as a Liverpool player, Minamino was rarely become
a starter. Even Minamino was once on loan at Southampton because Klopp didn't need him. Hopefully with Monaco Takumi Minamino can get more
playing time, because at Monaco maybe Takumi Minamino has a greater chance of getting into the main squad than at Liverpool. It is very important
for Takumi Minamino to get a lot of playing time, so that he is confirmed to be called up to the Japanese national team to play in the 2022 World Cup.
I think that even though Minamino didn't always start at Liverpool, Minamino is still a player who has the quality to play for the national team. Well, with Minamino who is used to changing teams such as from Asia to Europe, then of course Minamino will easily adapt to Monaco as well. Monaco itself still has a chance to be able to play in the Champions League next season, hopefully Minamino can give his best performance and contribute greatly to Monaco next season. Although Minamino at Liverpool was not always the main player but with his position on the left wing Minamino can still score goals, this ability is certainly something that promises that Minamino is a talented player.

This is a good deal for both the player and the clubside Monaco. Monaco get a player desperate to impress ahead of the world cup event and desperate for first team football

They also get Tchoemani replacement cheaply and wisely. I believe the French league is one where Minamino quality would really shine bright and go back to the talisman midfield gem signed from Salzburg. Good signing and cheap too
He will have more chance to show his capability there and even people consider Takumi as a replacement for Tchoemani, pressure on him is not too high.

Why don't we think he can coach both teams at the same time? Maybe Zidane will manage both France and Paris SG teams together? I see him as a coach with a very good technical capacity. I liked it very much in his Real Madrid career. I believe he will be very successful if he becomes the coach of Paris SG.
I've never heard that one coach can manage the national team and another team at the same time, it sounds weird to make it real. Whoever the coach was, no matter how good his technical skills were, it would be very unprofessional to manage two teams at the same time, and maybe it was against the rules.
Isn't this too cheesy to do Cheesy Impressed like wanting to get everything which is precisely this is becoming uncertain as I haven't even seen anything like this. The logic is that managing just one club is already very difficult, especially if it is managing 2 clubs at once with different targets. Obviously this is still possible but something like this is very difficult to do.

I have a really good feeling about Monaco and Takumi too actually, he was one of their most lethal strikers, goals per games and per minutes is one thing but he was actually just really itching for goals just didn't get enough pitch time. I have a feeling he will do really really well there!

At last it is not known if Zidane will manage both teams? It would be a great feat on the part of the PSG sheik to have Zidane, but I'm sure Zidane would ask CR7 to strengthen his team, if this happens, I think the other teams would be afraid of them, Zidane is used to dealing with the best stars in the world, at the time he played with the best in the world, so that for him is like a walk.

Probably yes, but he knows he will have the immediate task of winning UCL AND there is also the thing about Mbappe supposedly having a say n the club direction. This isn't clear to me what it is or if a coach like Zidane could tolerate powershare.

After Monaco sold Aurélien Tchouameni to Real Madrid then Minamino is their first arrival for next season. Monaco still have sufficient funds from the sale of Aurélien Tchouameni, so it is still possible for them to buy several other players while the transfer market is still open.

After getting big money from madrid, of course, monaco had no difficulty in completing a deal with liverpool and it was proven that they got Minamino so quickly, as a talented striker Minamino was actually in great demand by other clubs in the english league but monaco moved quickly to get him, Even though he has only had a little playing time at Liverpool so far But he managed to help Liverpool win some trophies and score important goals, Minamino is a good striker and I think Monaco is very lucky to get him because Minamino is a typical striker who is good at positioning, sees the gaps in the opponent defense and is also a hard worker.
I wish him success with his career in Ligue 1 now with Monaco .
Bringing in minamino to the team is a good idea for Monaco's coach, cause he will be of a good help to the team. Perhaps he never had alot playing time with his ex-club Liverpool, but he still delivered in some matches if opportuned, and he really helped them in winning some major trophies last season. I think with his new team, he will be giving more chance to prove his worth, no doubt he is a exceptional player, he has alot of good qualities, he is good in positioning, and also a good goal scorer. It was really a nice signing from Monaco, am convince this is their first signing of the season.

I think this player will find the chance to show what he can do in monaco better than Liverpool, this is the right place for him to play more matches and improve his statistics and i believe he can this player will have very bright future
He's still quite promising actually but indeed when he was at Liverpool it was a different story because indeed he would definitely find it difficult to compete especially Liverpool's attacking players also almost all have average advantages.
This is a pretty good thing for Minamino actually because indeed at Monaco it is clear he will have a bigger chance to give his best performance.

GOD is TRUE
as monaco has officially announced the transfer of Takumi Minamino. the japanese attacking midfielder signed a four-year contract until june 2026. T.
