The hosts are now on relegated position in the table and in the matches so far have only get 1 point, but it must be admitted that they had strong opponents, and in each match, with a bit of luck, the result could have been better. Lille had a nice start, but they got a real beating from PSG last matchday and they lost 7-1. It can be difficult for the team to recover mentally after such a defeat. I bet on a draw in this match.

The huge gap only started after Qatar purchased the club about a decade already. That is a super tiny emirate yet it is super rich. Qatar tried to use their money to become the best at anything they wanted to. They have the biggest monetary remittance for its local citizens, they have the best airline in the world, they built the best train in the world, they used billions of dollars to host the World Cup. They purchased PSG for a reason too, to be the best club in the world although it is met with competitions from other foreign clubs.

Ligue 1 is still competitive but only for the teams to fight for the second spot after PSG. Last season Monaco, Marseille, Rennes and Nice had a good race. Monaco's late rally was only a little late as Marseille secured the second spot. Anyhow we hope the sooner there will be huge investments into the other clubs in the league in order to compete with PSG.

It's almost the same situation as the Bundesliga or even beyond it in my opinion. Their finances were a major factor in why that happened, and other teams were not in the same health as Paris Saint Germain making it difficult for them.

We can't hide the fact that the interest of some players like Neymar and Mbappe in their contracts is a big salary and when PSG don't have the money then indeed they will still be ordinary clubs without the presence of some big players there.

Neymar and Mbappe's relationship was strained because of friction during last week's French league match when PSG faced Montpellier. This is certainly a conflict that is not good for the PSG club. and currently Luis Campos is also reported to be raging against internal parties at the PSG club. PSG is trying to strengthen their squad, while Ligue 1 teams are getting weaker day by day. They are not interested in spending money on new talented players. And so winning the Ligue 1 title is becoming very easy for PSG.

As the Ligue 1 title is easy for PSG. So they are not thinking about the Ligue 1 title now. Their target now is the Champions League title. And I think Galtier is slowly building his team to be fit for the Champions League. Finding problems within the team. And trying hard to solve them.
