Yes, but are you referring to Donnaruma's situation when you say that the referee was unwilling to punish Benzema for his attack? I must honestly say that I do agree it was probably a foul, but I wasn't surprised there was no whistle. It was one of these situations where there is so much drama in the game and Donnaruma did indeed *** it up, that a referee might just let the game continue. The VAR can't even do much as far as I know in such a situation.

The French league now will be some sad final weeks. PSG without motivation, but still bringing home the national trophy, but nobody in the world cares. Sad to not see Mbappe play anymore in the CL. The guy is an absolute beast and a future world soccer player.

Probably the main complaint against PSG is not in the low quality of the game, but in not high enough (plus a poor final result). A two-legged confrontation lasts at least 180 minutes and it is not enough to "play well until the first mistake (the referee or own player)". So the claims are quite fair. By the way, what violation should the referee fix? When Donnarumma knocked the ball out, he was outside the goalkeeper's area and Benzema fought him according to the rules - body to body.

Nice just beat PSG last week I think their mentality is good and also they want to keep 2nd place in the table, and for Montpellier they have dropped a lot of points in the last few weeks, their performance has been very submissive in the last few weeks I think very difficult for them to beat Nice who are in high confidence.

I think that Montpellier - Nice is the main event today. Nice are the closer team to be the victor here but their odd is still higher than 2.00 now. Because Montpellier are one of the good teams in the league currently. Maybe they are not having their best season but they can still be a big threat to Nice. However, Nice are the second best team in away matches this season. If they turn this into their advantage, then they can still find a way to beat Montpellier here. For Ligue 1, it's actually very difficult for any team to hope they can win when PSG is there.
Last season Lille probably could but I think it's PSG's fault and maybe this happens every few years lol.
Clubs in Ligue 1 can only be in position 2 and can only fight for that position because the champion slot already exists, namely PSG and that is very difficult to deny.

The quality of the players that PSG has is very different from its competitors. I think it's only natural that the title can even be said to belong to PSG before the season starts.
as you said it is true that to happen like Lille last season will only happen once every few years if the composition of PSG players continues to be filled with many star players every year.

Lille today played really poorly against saint etienne and they couldn't score since they only shot one time on goal on the otherhand it was a good result for saint etienne since it was an away game against a strong team they are realy playing good recently and my money is on them to avoid relegation this season.
