I don't know the reason why some people say PSG's performance this season in Ligue 1 is so bad, even though PSG was unbeaten until week 14 even though they only won 10 matches. Just because of a draw some people say it is bad, but the fact is that no team can maintain its run without a draw in a season.
PSG have drawn 4 games this season. Last season they ended the league with 10 draws and 2 losses. So I think they are still at the same level as last season. I agree with you that no team can keep winning games. But maybe 2 consecutive draws against teams in the middle of the table seems to be the reason why some people say PSG are doing badly. But I think PSG are still very strong and dominating Ligue 1 this season. They are 5 points ahead of Marseille and they are still unbeaten.
Because they consider league one to be a less competitive league and consider PSG to be very strong compared to other teams which makes their expectations of PSG very high so it is not surprising that if the result is a draw they will say that PSG is bad especially with a team whose quality is very far from PSG. PSG with a draw many say they are bad, what if they lose? surely many will criticize PSG.

In fact, if we study Enrique's current strategy, he is doing the right thing, PSG in league one will definitely still dominate, especially since they are very solid at the top of the standings. A draw does not mean that PSG is weak, that is just Enrique's strategy, he does not want to drain a lot of energy in the league especially since they are already solid at the top of the standings so Enrique tries to maintain the fitness of the players, they only focus on the UCL league because their position in the UCL league is very crucial, they need full concentration to be able to qualify for the play-off round.

Strasbourg have fallen back in the standings after consecutive defeats.Strasbourg drew at home against Reims.Neither team had many chances and were not very effective in front of goal.
Marseille, on the other hand, won 2-0 away to Saint Etienne and managed to increase their points to 29.They will give everything to be champions this season.Saint Etienne played badly this season so Marseille did not have much difficulty in this match.Marseille could have found more goals for Marseille, who dominated the match against their opponent.
I think It will be a great pleasure for fans and for Astragburg because they have faced a lot of defeats and have made their way to victory. But if either of these two teams had played well, they could have won the match, it was almost a one-goal affair, but due to a lack of pressure and effort, the goal was not scored, and the game ended in a draw. Marseille's win is also very impressive as they play well and are strong which makes them well liked. It is because of their good performance and strength that if the opposing team was also capable, they would not have been defeated so easily and they would have fought Marseille stronger and brought interest to the match and won the match. Marseille has to be ready in the same way in the next match and also this season.

It is indeed boring to keep watching or following a league when you already know how it will end. It makes the French League uninteresting. I am supporting more Ligue One clubs to keep improving their performance and dethrone Les Parisiens.

With their level of play in the UEFA Champions League, Luis Enrique might soon be sacked. The club is in the elimination place after collecting four points in five matches. The owners of PSG will not tolerate such a disgraceful appearance.

The players will be surprised and disappointed if they understate the clubs in League One. It they fail to work hard, they might not win this time.
I do agree that it's going to end up being something that will take a while for other teams to have some easier time. Money isn't always direct success though, look at Newcastle, they have a lot of money and failing, and look at Chelsea, they improved a lot. So, money isn't always important and doesn't always directly mean teams will do better than everyone else. I heard that some rich folks are interested in buying clubs at France, so we may start to see some billionaires invest and make this league a bit more competitive as well.

Enrique will definitely be sacked, but I do not see how any other manager could have any other different type of game, they are all going to have the same result. You can get any manager in the world, pep, ancelotti, klopp, whatever, and you are going to see PSG win the league, and you are going to see them fail at UCL, and that's all there is to it, there isn't anything different that's going to happen for this team at all.

Get 1 points against Reims not able to help improve their position in the standings, so if Strasbourg could not immediately find their best performance in the remaining matches,  then it looks like they will be one of the clubs relegated this season, especially now that their position in the standings is only separated by a distance of 6 points from Montpellier who is at the bottom of the Ligue 1 standings this season.

Marseille currently have 29 points and are second in the table, but I don't think they can expect too much to be champions and remove PSG from the top of the table, when they are still under strong pressure from Monaco and Lille who are ranked 3rd and 4th at the moment.

You are correct. PSG drew ten games and lost just two last season, so they are still on track. They have not lost any game this season and just drew four games. We cannot assume that no French club is pressurizing PSG because Olympique de Marseille and Monaco are closely trialing them. Both teams are five points below the reigning Ligue One champions. I would not push aside these teams because they also have good coaches and quality players. Roberto De Zerbi is not doing a bad job in Marseille and I would not be surprised if they win the Ligue Cup. From the current situation, PSG might not make it out of the Group stage because they are underperforming in the UCL.
Salzburg and Stuttgart are the opponents that PSG must beat, even in the match with City they can count on points because Guardiola does not yet know what to do with the team so that they start winning again. PSG is a strong team and I think that they will be able to reach the playoffs, this was one of their most difficult group stages, but nothing is over yet. And by the way, the management of PSG denied rumors about a possible sale of the team.

The performance of PSG is not as bad as a lot of people portray it to be, they are top of the table, winning 10 out of 14 games and have only drawn 4 which for me is a good run for the French champions and it seems to me that they might still retain their title since no other side seems to be putting any pressure on them. The only issue PSG are having this season is their poor run in the champions league where they've had to struggle much this season and seem not to be able to make it to the next round.

It was and for me it's very good that this happened, this means that they now see PSG as a team that can be beaten, that they don't have victories all the time, they can be beaten, and I think that if they see it like that, Ligue 1 will be very good because basically things are like that, when other teams see that it is possible to win, they psychologically will do it and they will look for it, it's not difficult, it has to be done personally, I say something, when one focuses on winning one has to find a way, I think Nantes has it clear.

PSG's poor performance is really making this league a bit attractive. I'm sure PSG fans would hate your comment if they see it.   Grin

Even if PSG loses points in a few matches in Ligue 1, it will not face a big loss. Because PSG is dominating Ligue 1 this season as well. However, PSG has failed to win two consecutive matches. We are waiting to see a better performance from a big team like PSG. And I think a lot of gamblers have bet on PSG winning in these two matches. And everyone has faced a big loss.

PSG is still 5 points ahead of Marseille, who is in second place in the table. So if PSG draws in the next 2 matches, PSG will still be at the top of the table. But I am waiting to see if PSG can qualify for the next round of the Champions League. This is now a big challenge for Luis Enrique.

I doubt that would happen, I can see why people may think like that but I really doubt that will happen. I think it's clear that we are going to probably see how things will change, and PSG will start to win, they are not a team that is used to losing points for too many games in a row, they will eventually get that win. Obviously bigger shocks do happen in football, look at City and how they failed to win for so long, I mean they have just one win out of 7 games or something like that, if PSG has a period like that too, then yeah you are right Marseille could pass PSG in that situation.

But premier league is insanely competitive, even Aston Villa may win Ligue 1, or at least would be fighting for a title, whereas Ligue 1 is simple, hence why they call it farmers league. I would say PSG will not have that kind of bad stretch, they had two ties, which is enough, they will probably go back to winning now, and will not let Marseille get any closer at all.
You have mentioned a valid point about PSG and French Ligue 1 with as things are going most chances we will have some close fights in future rounds as in 15th round we have few big games which will give better view about the future of this league PSG hosting Lyon and Marseille will host Lille both encounters are going to be tough and surely going to be interesting.

French League is surely farmers league due to lack of funds for many clubs and quality players as they needed good investment which will increase clubs stability, but situation is not favourable for having huge investments which is surely important for any league we will have few teams could be created problems for PSG while they are also having not good time but here we need things on well organized for them if they need to keep going for top flight.

It seems to me PSG players bored to always win the competition. So they think even playing without motivation could still give them League one trophy. What a pathetic league.
I assume rumours about Qatari owners willing to leave the team might affected them. PSG used to win the league regardless of their performance because the other teams are always failing, but interestingly in the last two rounds, PSG got 2 draws while Marseille, just behind them, won two. Of course, Monaco is one of the team that I said previously that they were failing and they did miss 3 points a game before, otherwise they would be even closer to PSG.
We have some rumours about things like these with if we have Qatari owners out of this league surely this could be huge setback but good for the PSG and league as well because we will have all teams in well balances, and they could be able to fight hard for the title race as well which will surely increase fans interest which are currently feel bore due to control of PSG they are doing nothing positive for the league with things are also not favourable for them as their dream to win Champions League is again shattered badly.

Monaco and Marseille both have chance to catch PSG, but their inconsistency is having trouble with them even we have drop of points from PSG as well but still they are able to hold top spot and good difference of points for staying at the top.

Lens won 2-0 against a weak opponent.Lens was a bit far from his performance last season.Lens played better than his opponent in this match and deserved to win.Montpellier looks like they will struggle in the relegation pot this season. They are currently at the bottom of the league.
Nantes ended their bad run and managed to defeat Rennes with a goal in the last minutes.Nantes made good use of the fact that their opponent played with 1 man less and managed to equalize their points with their opponent by winning the match.

They seem have no motivation to win, no hunger to score a lot, and same problem game after game. They always pass the ball backwards, and i see nothing improved. This team is just getting worsen, and doubting them to win the game against Salzburg.

There's no definitive answer, but Marseille is in the right momentum to match PSG points or even overtake them. Luis Enrique squad will face two tough matches in Ligue 1, against Lyon and AS Monaco. We understand that PSG will be more focused on their Champions League matches, as they aim to secure a place in the playoffs. So I think, situationally, this is the best opportunity for any Ligue 1 contender to surpass PSG, even though the chances are slim. Whatever the scenario that will happen in the future, even though PSG will continue to dominate, at least the current competition makes Ligue 1 more lively.
I doubt that would happen, I can see why people may think like that but I really doubt that will happen. lol, you are very funny bro, is there really any players who are bored of winning? if there are any, why are they at PSG who always dominate the title? Of course they want to win and are not tired of continuing to win trophies even though it is only a domestic trophy. It doesn't make sense if they are bored, maybe they are just a little tired and the recent draws were not intentionally done by them because to these 2 draws, the points difference with Marseille is getting closer, they must not lose any more points in the next match, Marseille is ambitious to be able to provide fierce competition to PSG at the top of the standings.

I doubt that PSG will be abandoned by those Qatari owners. Sports washing is one of the most important activities those people use to deflect from other things they do and in relative terms, it doesn't cost them that much money. It's not big money for them, but it does contribute a great deal as to how they are perceived in public when they play in UEFA competitions and while Ligue 1 is not the best league for sure, the French national team definitely is among the best teams in the world and owning a French club like PSG still has value.

But right now they don't have a player like Mbappe, who was really able to draw a ton of attention to PSG. At the same time it is a waste of time for players like him if they want to achieve the greatest possible success besides the money they are making. If it wasn't for the money, I doubt that Mbappe would have stayed for so long in Ligue 1.

To come up  with an amount, I guess that the football club costs the Qataris like $500 million a year and if they were to one day leave the club, they could still sell it. Hard to tell what the club's value is, but I think Chelsea was worth like $4 billion or so when Abramowitch had to sell it. I don't know if PSG can be compared to Chelsea.

Getting 2 draws when facing a team that is below the standings is certainly a very disappointing result. and for the next match in the French league 1, PSG will face a fairly difficult team, namely Auxerre Lyon and Monaco which are teams in the top 10 of the standings. and if in the next match PSG cannot win or even lose, it can be concluded that the team is really experiencing a decline in performance when on the field.

And further regarding PSG's appearance in the Champions League, in several previous matches they performed very badly and even until now they have only been able to collect 4 points which makes them far in 25th position, PSG is having a fairly difficult time, they may not qualify for the next phase and be eliminated in the preliminary round.

PSG shared points in two consecutive matches. PSG dominated in both these matches, PSG players made a lot of attacks, but still failed to score. I have no doubt that PSG's match strategy is great. However, due to the lack of experienced players in the squad, we are not seeing a better performance from PSG this season. PSG may not face any obstacles to win the Ligue 1 title, but this team is far behind in the Champions League.

PSG will play against Red Bull in the next match of the Champions League. PSG is currently in 25th position in the Champions League. PSG will have to play well in every next match of the Champions League. Otherwise, PSG will not be able to survive in the competition on the Champions League platform.

No matter if PSG couldn't win recently in the games we saw from this team. Sometimes even a good and strong team will lose points and that's normal to see PSG lose points in the French league even after all the money they spent so far in this league and all the players they have.
PSG is far better than all the other teams in France. However, they recently lost the game against Bayern Munich. In the French League, they have 34 points so far, while Marseille has only 29 points.

I think Paris Saint-Germain is a team that can be beaten. Every team can be beaten. Real Madrid was good until last year but we see how bad they are this year. The only problem is not that Paris Saint-Germain is playing badly. The best teams in the world are generally performing badly this year. We all know how Manchester City is in the Premier League. So PSG may be the leader in the French League but the truth is that towards the end of the year I still think PSG will be the champions.
Yes, must big teams are having set back in their performance this season which mostly is due to injuries in some of their important players. Real Madrid is having an inconsistent performance, same as Manchester City and other big teams; Arsenal is included and Inter Milan with Bayer Leverkusen; they all did well last season, but this season has been a tough season so far for them which can be over if they all make some adjustments during the transfer window.

For PSG's inconsistency, I am a bit happy because I want the League1 to be competative, but other teams are not showing the effort to make it happen despite the poor performance of PSG this season; I was expecting Monaco to be a tough competator this season which I never gave up because Monaco have good potential this season because they have some quality players in theur squad.
I was hopeful for Marseille and Monaco, but it seems that other teams than Paris Saint-Germain do not have much chance of winning the championship. Monaco and Marseille suffered surprise defeats. They lost unexpected points. Paris Saint-Germain continues to be a little more professional. As always, they are trying to dominate the French league steadily. The Champions League is important for them and they continue on this path. Injuries are the biggest factors affecting a team. It is very lucky for Paris Saint-Germain not to have serious injuries.
