The season has ended and next season Paris Saint Germain will certainly not have the players they have always relied on, they will have to lose Mbappe because they decided to leave Paris Saint Germain and look for an even bigger challenge. I want to see what they will do next, who other star players they will bring in, because right now I think these players are comfortable with their respective teams.

Are they going to build the foundation from the ground up? I mean they will carry out regeneration by promoting a lot of talented young players, or they will continue to chase star players by spending a lot of money. I hope management doesn't take the wrong step in making decisions, because the fact is that even though they have many star players, they haven't been able to get something that allows them to achieve something in competitions that are bigger than the domestic league, like the Champions League for example.

Yes, Lyon is not just an ordinary team in LIgue 1, but in the last few seasons they have experienced a decline so that they can only compete in the middle of the table. Previously they were a team that could provide quite tight competition at the top but recently they couldn't do all that because they experienced something that ultimately made them have to fight to achieve victory after victory.
I hope they can quickly find their best form again, because after all they are one of the big teams here. I think they can do it, as long as they get off to a good start. Lyon is one of the most famous football teams in France. This club once dominated French football with 7 consecutive championships from 2001 to 2008. However, in recent years, Lyon's position gradually declined when PSG received strong investment from Arab owners. For a team that hasn't won the French championship in more than a decade, and hasn't even been able to get into the top 2 in the last four seasons. The rise of PSG and Monaco has taken away their dominant position. Another leading reason is that Lyon has sold young stars to gain immediate profits. After selling off their potential young stars, they became down.

Currently, Lyon has completely transformed under the leadership of coach Pierre Sage. He brought Lyon from the relegation group to its current position. If Lyon wants to regain the position that belongs to them, they should appreciate the good players they have.

You are right about Lyons form, before now they have been a not just a strong team but a top team that has been always making sure to maintain a spot in the title race in previous seasons but then they gradually seem to loose their form, although it's normal to loose form with Bigg team, but staying too long in that form isn't ideal as it becomes a problem both to the team and the management aswell as the fans.

ThIs season was a tough one for the Lyon team, they literally struggled to be able to escape relegation but it's actually a good one in the fact that they were able to finish at a good position on the table, it was actually very interesting that they did made sure they at some point git back on their feet and started getting pass their phase where they did had the whole struggle somehow it felt unusual they were able to still finish far a way from relegation even after been just a few points away, just like every other big team both in other leagues there will always be times as this.

The ability of the team to be able to quickly get pass such stage is what keeps them really different and strong enough to be separated from the other top teams that have gone through this stage and probably weren't able to survive it this way we'll enough but I believe next season Lyon will get back on their feet, already they had shown signs of improvement and have already were able to finish at a fair position.

This season is of course in contrast to the previous season where Lyon this season looked quite weak, even at the start of the season Lyon felt the bitterness of sitting at the bottom of the standings. But their performance improved even more in the second half of the season where they managed to get out of the relegation zone and closed the season in 6th position.
Of course Lyon is one of the strongest teams in Ligue 1 because they often close the season in the best ranking but of course they are not very consistent in each season which makes their progress difficult to predict in each season.

Lyon success in the second half of the season cannot be separated from the neat role of Sage who was able to provide better tactics in Lyon game. Previously grosso was quite a failure but sage brought quite a good change in its performance in the second half. Well, what Sage did reminds me of Xabi Alonso who brought Leverkusen out of the relegation zone in his first season with Leverkusen. So whether in Sage second season with Lyon he succeeds in becoming champion, we'll just have to wait and see next season.

Maybe if you have followed the French League since a long time you can understand Lyon is not a normal and weak team but they were one of the strongest teams in this league and they were usually racing with the top team in the French League while during this season they had bad time they were even close to get relegated because they lost the game against the team we could never predict them to lose.
But in the second half of the season, they made progress, and they got improved a lot. Now they are in sixth place in the league.

The progress of Monaco under Adi Hütter is very impressive because within 1 season Adi Hütter can able to bringing Monaco to finish at runner up place and automatically they will playing at Champion League again and actually finish at Champion League zone is Monaco main target in the last 5 season but they always be fail to achieve this target and this also causes why Monaco have to changing the manager several times and after 5 years absense to playing on that competition finally this season Adi Hütter can realized this target

Just like i said before Monaco last appearance on Champion League was happened on season 2019 but at that time their performance is very poor because Monaco only able to finish at the bottom of Group Standing and for next season Monaco have to do better in this competition and although it's hard i think they should be hard struggling to advances to the knock out stages however the news has been appears today that Monaco main striker Wissam Ben Yedder contract will be expired this summer and i think Monaco should be give him contract extension because this season Wissam Ben Yedder is Monaco top scorer and from 34 matches in Ligue 1 Ben Yedder can scores 16 goals and help Monaco reach to runner up place

I think the performance and results obtained by PSG this season are still not impressive enough because after all, if the consideration is only about qualifying for the semifinals of the Champions League. After all, in reality, in the 2020/2021 season, PSG also managed to qualify for the semifinals and lost by Manchester City, and I think that is still a normal result.  But this season,even though PSG qualified for the semifinals of the Champions League, but in reality PSG lost by the underdog team, because PSG and Dortmund I think PSG still has betterquality but PSG still lost by Dortmund. In that result, PSG this season still does not have impressive or phenomenal results as you said, because PSG also only managed to win the Ligue 1 trophy this season,  and that is very normal for PSG who only managed to dominate Ligue 1.

I quite agree with your current thinking, it is undeniable that PSG are a very rich team and it is very easy for them to get whoever they want, but of course PSG should also start thinking about building a team for long-term prospects by at least orbiting and also looking for young talents that they can rely on in the future,  If they want to prioritize for young players in their squad of course they will not be able to instantly get the results they want, but I think it will be a bright prospect in integrating and also increasing the cohesiveness of their team in the future, actually what Leverkusen did is certainly enviable for PSG later because all the achievements achieved by Leverkusen this season are none other than the results of their courage Continue to entrust many Academy players to their main squad so far.

Definitely an insane season without a shred of doubt. In fact, between Leverkusen and Lyon, those two are the ones that shocked me the most all season long. Lyon was like 9 points after 9 games, they were at the very bottom, they were few points away from the closest team, they sucked and they looked like they were losing all their games non stop.

Whatever happened afterwards, they finished with a cup and sixth place all the way from the very bottom, doing that requires a strong will and a lot of hard work. They knew how good they were, and they knew they just got unlucky, they played as well as they could and got that momentum on their side and now they are going to europa and finished at a respectable place in the end.

PSG must have talented and quality young players, for example Lamine Yamal in Barcelona and Arda Guler in Madrid and maybe several other young players that PSG must get. At least they have a lot of young players next season because the competition is quite tight and it is not possible to playing players whose performance may have declined due to age, PSG must really choose players who can replace Mbappe as a striker on the front line. Of course that must be easy for PSG because they have enough money to get even great players.

PSG must be able to compete in the UCL next season because for me so far PSG has never failed in the title race in Ligue 1 because they dominate Ligue 1 well, especially since there is no competition from other teams which is quite tight and can break PSG's dominance in the season. In the future, I'm sure PSG will still achieve the same achievements next season, namely dominating Ligue 1 and winning the title, but PSG's target should be the UCL, at least being able to reach the final so that it can be a new history for PSG to win the UCL title next season. I think see if PSG will get talented players next season because it all depends on what players they get.

I do wonder why the unavailability or absence of just one player could affect a teams performance when there are 10 other players including goal keeper in the team though there is a player that comes into a team and their game play changes instantly but clubs should not be too dependent on a particular player so that the team doesn't get affected when the player leaves the team and that is exactly what is happening in PSG now because they can't figure out a replacement for Kylian Mbappe and his exit will surely be felt by his teammates.

This is the time for teams that have great players that they always rely on to change their mentality and also try to build other players within the team so that the team can withstand a match when a particular player is out of play or out of the team instead of always spending so much money to sign a new player and sometimes at the end the player may not even match up to the amount they were bought by the club like their performance will be so low and it even takes time before such player can blend with the team.

It is also necessary to understand that before any player got to a certain level where of recognition in football, they started as amateur before they got to the professional level so teams should learn to manage the players they have in the team very well instead of always depending on new signings.

However, Kylian Mbappe have made name for himself, his family and the football body so he is such an impressive player any club will welcome with both hands into their squad, he has achieved a lot for PSG and has won the Ligue 1 top scorer recently so he is a great talent and since he will be going to Real Madrid, he will solidify the team more and bring forth more trophies to them.

As we are having end of another season with PSG is losing their star player and title of Europe coming season is going to be important for them while their owners will be keep things as they were doing in last few seasons, or we are going to have some changes at the management level as well because in last few years we were having rumours they want to sell this club which could be huge setback for the French League because with these things can go on negative side, and they can lose this club which is dominating just because of their wealth instead of having any quality.

Now in coming season, if we have some good buying from the PSG management then things could be at the good level, and we will be having good competition but if they are now having things not as they were doing in past then surely we will have many changes which could be not ideal for the league and club as well.

PSG have not had much success until they have appointed a quality manager to their club but last season they surprised everyone by appointing Luis Enrique to their club and it was a joy for us who follow PSG games regularly. Because what we always discussed is that PSG spend so much money to bring good quality stars to their club but why they don't appoint good quality manager to their club to use this star properly. Last season PSG appointed Luis Enrique and after Luis Enrique took charge of the team they made several changes to the team. He has directly told all the players who are not needed by the team to find their new club. He left only those players at PSG who could contribute to the club. Despite a significant number of players leaving PSG, PSG's performance this season has been phenomenal and this season we have seen PSG qualify for the semi-finals of the Champions League with this simple squad. It is definitely a big achievement for PSG, hopefully next season this team will be in a better position and will do better in the Champions League.

Metz were having no impact on their position so they were not involved as they needed in this game while now they are preparing for the relegation playoffs against St Etienne vs Rodez which will decide about them for having another season here in Ligue 1, or they will be relegated to Ligue 2 PSG were also without their many stars which is good for them because now they needed to have things without big names with things could be not easy for them but still manageable because they are having players which are now ready for giving their impact on this team's performance in the future.

Stars were not here, and I am favouring this decision of Luis Enrique because we are having many coaches which love to stay with their system instead of having big stars to free hand for activities like these which create problems for them while they love to be stayed with disciplined hopefully now we will have better environment in PSG which will increase their performance in all events.

It is clear why these two teams had to be eliminated in Ligue 1 and the reason that happened was because they did not play consistently which affected them in collecting points. Financial problems are indeed a problem in football now because without money they cannot bring in the players they need, which affects how the team does not play consistently, but perhaps opportunities and opportunities are not utilized by both teams.

Because if everything is based on money, there are many teams that don't buy quality players, but they can survive in Ligue 1 by relying on the players they have. It's not all about money and perhaps the influence of the coach is also quite big to maintain the consistency of the game. Unless we are talking about competing for the title, the only way the team has to buy quality players so they can compete with other top teams.

PSG is one very big club with huge finances, Kylian Mbappé wanting to leave the club at the end of the season seems to be very challenging but I think that’s not much of a worry for PSG. Kylian was one very key player in the club, at this point you’ll already imagine how PSG will be out to watch for a key player to replace Kylian.

 At this point, I don’t think getting a key player as Kylian will be the way out, rather they should try to get a team player, one who will want to develop with the squad and play with them. Football is a sport that has about 10 players and a goal keeper instead of wanting to rely on just one player. ⁠PSG have won the domestic title, and it wasn’t attributed to one player rather it was attributed to the team which shows that it’s a team success. So I think them getting a team player is very key in the team’s success.

 Even for Kylian he didn’t just come to limelight on his own, he was helped by his teammates, so you can say that team work is what is key for success in every team. The club has the power to attract any player they want and I think they will sure pull up a great deal but what I feel is they should get is a team player rather than a selfish big player. This will help psg still continue competing at the top and it will be one great achievement to see them still be able to win the league.

This season was really incredible for the few teams with we are having good lesson from the Lyon success as they came back from the bottom everything is possible while you are committed for the best now we are having just one final game left in this season which is going to be important for the Lyon and PSG because they want to have their amazing season ends at high note and PSG want to live without Mbappé a happy life even better things for their future which will bring better and solid success for them.

Even we all know if you are having path for the life then every thing is possible like we watch, so now this is going to another chapter in French soccer with many records are updated, and many achievements happen even PSG is clearly favourite, but Lyon can give them shock of the season with having their Copa De France.

Lyon failed to end in the Europa League season next season but fortunately they still have the opportunity to play in the Conference League next season, after all the difficult journeys of course Lyon fans should be proud of all their achievements this season even though it is not better than what they achieved last season, but at least fans still see their team able to compete in European competition next season even if they fail to win the Coupe de France,  The Coupe de France final is certainly Lyon biggest achievement in recent seasons and I think they need to make the most of it to end the season with the trophy.

Lyon vs PSG will certainly be an interesting final although I doubt if the final will give us a surprise, so far PSG have dominated the victory over Lyon so it is unlikely that Lyon will be able to easily beat PSG in the final match later, Kylian Mbappe has decided to leave next season and may be doubtful to be able to appear in the Coupe de France final, because reportedly the current owner of the club and also coach Luis Enrique, he no longer spoke to Mbappe after his decision, but even without Mbappe in the squad, PSG are still very strong for Lyon at the moment.
