Sometimes having too many stars can spoil a team and that's what happened to PSG when they had Mbappe, Neymar, Messi and the rest but as they don't have any stars now but have a balanced team of quality players, they're now playing better and will win not only the league title but other trophies too. They can also do well in the champions league. Yesterday they played against lens and won with only one goal but that doesn't mean they didn't play well. Sometimes winning is all that matters and not minding how you get the win, you just have to do it to keep progressing and not dropping points. PSG are topping the league with 6 points right now and that's safe for them.
Of course, too many star players is also not a good thing. Take PSG, for instance, which depended on Mbappe, Neymar, and Messi. It is not to say that they are underperforming; the very high level of talent in the team sometimes raises issues on team spirit and the sharing of responsibilities on the field. Now, a less star-studded cast has made PSG look more organized; they are scoring, including against Lens in a match where they won by the narrowest margin.
Despite the fact that the team is now more balanced, there are negative impacts that the club has to deal with due to the lack of star players. One of them is the decline in fan base since star players manage to attract more public attention and interest in them, their departure or reduction thus adversely affecting the club's appeal.
PSG is first in their league now and has bright chances in other competitions, still, they must not lose sight of the popularity and appeal of the club in the eyes of the fans.
