Seeing their performance in the Champions League group stage which was less than optimal, I have a little doubt that they will be able to show their best performance against Madrid later Grin

, relying on all their star players, PSG actually only got 3 wins from 6 match phase group.
I don't know what on the mind of PSG management right now, but for sure I think the bet they made by keeping mbappe was a very bad decision, I think with that kind of money they can get other players who might be better than mbappe, or even them can recruit haalaand or even ronaldo using the money.
With a squad full of stars but PSG actually failed to win the champions league trophy?

It is the price in the last summer and honestly it is a very expensive price especially if we know that Mbappe will be free in 2022 summer. PSG took huge risk to determinant keep Mbappe in Paris. They bet that in the end they will successfully convince Mbappe to stay with them in Paris. If they fail, they will lose him for zero transfer fee.

They accept very big risk, $200M or $100 is very high price for a player who has only one year of contract. I see that PSG were very confident about their finance and ability to convince Mbappe. In addition, they really need him in Paris. If not, they did not take that risk.

Lille are actually not too bad for quite many weeks in the standings now. They didn't lose their last eight league matches but won only three of them as far as I can see now. Strasbourg is a realy tough team and they are fun to watch they play realy good and we see them always dominate their opponent they deserve the win against montpellier they have thomasson and ludovic duo the two of them managed to score 17 goals and 9 assists which makes them involved in more than 50% of their team goals.

Marseille have been wasting so many chances so far. PSG lost too many points recently actually but Marseille still couldn't take advantage of it. They had one of their biggest chance in the Lille game as their competitor played with one less player for an hour. But Marseille still had a big problem on even finding the equalizer. It came later in the game and Lille defended them really well in the remaining minutes of the game. And this was another disappointment for Marseille. I don't see any other team rather than PSG that deserve to win the championship now.
