You can see the King's return here. PSG's Sergio Ramos gets his first goal for the club and he turns the light to him. It makes me more excited to watch PSG vs Madrid. As a result of letting Ramos handle the team, you will also be more likely to win the Champs League. In 3 games, Ramos equalized Messi's league goal.
PSG returned to Ligue 1 as a dominant force, and that attitude should continue.
Ramos is a very goal productive defender but a first goal for PSG does not mean he is back to his best. Moreover, at his age and after 2 seasons seriously affected by injuries, don't put too much hope on Ramos. He can be useful in some matches but in a long campaign, if PSG rely on him, it's nightmare for them. I feel that PSG don't have such plan so it can be good for them.

Congratulation Ramos for his first goal in Paris after very first matches for PSG. You made me laugh when compare Ramos and Messi in terms of goal they scored for the club so far.

PSG will be winning the league title without any hassle in my opinion. What I loved is that Ramos has scored a goal and he is given the freedom and maybe the leadership (i guess?) maybe PSG might do better, as I personally think that Ramos is a better leader on the field compared to Marquinhos.
But a lot of hard games coming for PSG, especially vs Real Madrid., Hope that they will do good.
It seems very likely like that. PSG are very strong in Ligue 1 and in this season, they have yet lost many points by their carelessness. So with their attention to win Ligue 1 at higher level than the past season, it is very difficult for other clubs to beat them in this competition. Current leading advantage is big enough for PSG to win Ligue 1 even if they don't have their best in rest of season.

Psg has grown from strength to strength since the GOAT joined them, they're almost formidable this time around and it make them outstanding in the French league, though they isn't enough stronge clubs to compare but they have strived to make this history and thier performances for the whole game is superb, kudos
I think the event tonight isn't PSG winning with 4 goals against Reims but Ramos scoring a goal Grin
So far the gap between PSG and the others is quite big and reassuring since PSG will have quite hard games from now until mid-February whether in French Cup (Nice), Ligue 1 (Lille, Rennes) and CL (Real Madrid)!

PSG will play two more matches in Ligue 1 before the Champions League match. In the first week of February, they will play against Lille, and in the second week, they will play against Rennes. PSG will probably play with their main squad against Lille. But PSG will form their second-tier team to play against Rennes.
Because the Champions League match is more important to them than Ligue 1. They do not want any of their players will be injured before the Champions League. If Rennes can play well, thay have a chance to beat PSG.

Looks happy with Sergio Ramos first goal for PSG and will have many goal again created by Ramos on Ligue 1 or maybe champion league faced with Real Madrid. Now PSG looks dominance on Ligue 1 let than 11 points from Nice but if playing consistent on every games maybe easy for PSG get back Ligue 1 title after last year their domination broken by Lille. Now only Nice and Marseille  as competitor for PSG because both team have 40 and 42 points where PSG have success reach 53 or left about 11 points from Nice and 13 from Marseille. Right now third team have the same 22 games only marseille still left one match and become take to second position standing if success win from match postponed.

PSG is a strong team in france maybe it is strong in france because the other teams are very weak, but the main point is that in the champions league PSG will have to face strong teams and I doubt they will reach the champions league final, even having many good players they still lack good defense and sometimes their attack also becomes bad like in the last games. well, at least their defense is improving, that's a good thing
Actually, in financial terms, Paris Saint-Germain looks very good not only at the domestic French level, but also at the level of the rest of the top European championships. Therefore, I would not link the situation with the finances of the other French clubs and Paris Saint-Germain, because at times it seems that PSG not only plays in its separate league from other French clubs, not only in terms of sports, but also financially. However, the source of funding for the Paris Club is not directly related to the French economy. Although, of course, this does not mean an automatic entry into the Champions League final, and frankly speaking, PSG were not quite lucky with the draw, which already gave such a serious opponent as Real Madrid at this stage.

It's like PSG have everything on the line - if they don't win the Champions League this year (and the chances are, as you rightly say, slim based on what we've seen in the group stage) it will be a huge blow to their budget. PSG have a lot of money, but the problem is that they are required to comply with the financial fairplay rules and if they let Mbappe go for free, they are effectively deprived of a "quota" of 200 million that they could spend on other good players.
And you just imagine a situation when Paris Saint-Germain, on its own initiative, on the one hand, strengthens its rival in the person of Real Madrid by selling Mbappe there and at the same time weakens itself. Therefore, from some side, you can understand the logic of the club's management, which acts in this way and loses a huge amount at the same time. Therefore, you can talk as much as you like about financial fair play, about lost profits, but let's not forget that the main goal in recent years is to win the Champions League and all actions are subordinated to this goal. And I think that the club's management understands what they are doing and knows perfectly well how to compensate for these 200 million euros of lost profits.

There is a big difference between being 5th and having 4 point difference, and being 10th and having 4 point difference to top 4. I mean in one of them you need to check your back and you can just win as many as you possibly could but have a leeway because you are already ahead of everyone else, but when you are 10th, you need to not only close the gap of 4 points, but you also need to pass everyone else in between as well and they could win and match up with you as well.

In a case where all the top 4 loses 2 games in a row, they slot 6 points each, so if Lyon ends up getting 2 wins they are better than the 4th right? Well, what happens if somewhere between 4th and 10th end up winning 2 games as well? That is why they should not feel easy about having only 4 point difference, that will not make too much difference in the long run for now.

Today lyon team have a huge chance to get the three points and make their second consecutive win they will be facing saint etienne a team struggling and not been able to get points in the last six games they had consecutive losses i think lyon will win easily today.
The match was tough for Lyon, but they managed to win again scoring the penalty kick which was given to them. I literally thought the game was going be an easy winning, but Saint Etienne had a good defense. While Lyon ended the game with a goal.

It was a tough match for both the teams as both of them haven't been on their best of forms but a win is a win and Lyon won it.

Even though it was from a spot-kick from Moussa Dembele on the 15th minute, but it was enough for them to get the win and it will surely give them a big morale boost that they needed so badly. With this win, they are still in 10th position but the thing is that they have only 4 points gap from being in the top 4, so would I be a bit much optimistic if I said that they can try to end the season in the top 4?

Lille failed to win their match yesterday. Brest is not a club that could have beaten and won them with a clean sheet. Lille have a strong squad compared to that of Brest. And they also dominated the game, but despite all this Lille were still unable to score a single goal. However, If Lille continue like this, they will certainly not make it to the top 4. It is obvious that Lille performance in the game was bad
Whenever you think Lille recovered and start winning agaon, they impress you with an unexpected failure.. Ridiculously, Lille didn't lost in the last 5 games and Brest didn't win in the same number of games, then you find the opposite.
PSG will face Reims tonight in what suppose to be an easy game.

PSG vs Reims

Since I am a PSG fan I look forward to the PSG match. PSG is the strongest team in Ligue 1. So, as usual, I am expecting PSG to win today's match. My guess is that PSG will win 2-0. The Reims are already weak, but many of their key players will be missing in today's match. Players such as Ghislain Konan, Moreto Cassama and El Bilal Toure are now in Africa for AFCON. Azor Matusiwa, Valon Berisha and Marshall Munetsi are out due to injuries. I am not expecting a good performance of Reims in this match. That is why they are weak, in the absence of important players, they will become weaker today.

After 9 matches unbeaten, Lille finally lost to Brest, and this is a bit of a surprise. Because Brest team has poor performance, even the quality of
Brest players is still below Lille players. If we look at the statistics of the Brest vs Lille match, it is clear that Lille really dominated the match,
even Lille created quite a few chances. But for 90 minutes not a single goal was scored by Lille, meaning that Brest's defense played quite solidly,
so Lille couldn't score a goal. This is a lesson for Lille to improve their performance, especially how Lille builds attacks that are much more effective.
Lille's next match will be against PSG, it's a tough match for Lille to win. After all, PSG is indeed the strongest team in Ligue 1. If Lille returns
to defeat against PSG, not only is Lille's position going down, but the mentality of Lille's players is also getting lower and this is very dangerous for Lille.

I honestly think that this is the bottom Lyon finally reached. From a team that dominated the league for many many years (7 years in a row) to a team that ended up in the 10th place thanks to a win right now is a big drop, a huge drop. I know Lyon hasn't been champions in the last the last 10+ years but just 5 years or so ago they were second, and only a few years ago they were third, so they were always around at the top even if they didn't win.

These years they do not even have that anymore and looking like a bottom team, even if they managed to get better, how better could they realistically get? I do not think that they will have a top three finish, at the very best I see them barely going to europa by the end of the season and that is not good enough at all, they should be able to go to a lot better places and rank higher with the type of money they have.
Lyon is not alone in this all case we have good history of many clubs across Europe with this same problem they were dominant and suddenly lack of money and some management issues bring them down very badly like recently we can check into Bundesliga where two top quality teams currently struggling very badly, and we have in French League as well as Monaco is also facing very bad time just because of having not good enough players for competing into top teams.

Right now, Oil money is coming in some clubs, and they are changing many things very quickly now we have not good quality players from academies they are paying and bringing players for having a good number of trophies, so we are now losing quality just because of money for trophies.

The thing about football right now is that - the club with more money will excel at everything. If you have no money, you won't gain money as you won't have the better players to give you the results which will lead to gaining revenue. This has become a loophole.

If you look at teams like Lyon, Monaco, or teams of that sort who once were one of the better teams in the past, they are struggling very hard just because they are not getting the investments like the bigger clubs. And for that management issues occur and thus, the team fails to perform and get consistent results.

The single goal scored by former Newcastle United player Moussa Sissoko via the penalty spot in the 15th minute made Lyon win 3 points from Saint-Étienne. This achievement at least makes Lyon's chance to penetrate the Champions League final limit position wider with a difference of 6 points from Marseille who is in 3rd place with 37 points. Lyon's start was quite bad this season and had to be stranded up to 10th in the standings until week 21. Left 17 matches Lyon must really be able to achieve maximum results and open up opportunities to be in 2nd or 3rd position to enter the champions league slot next season.

A good and timely win for Lyon as now they are improving their rank and quality of performance in last 5 matches 2 wins and 3 draws mean having good time in French League but still very long way to go for them if they want to touch any European connection position because right now many teams are having some good performance even these all are unpredictable but still good teams are fighting hard like Monaco, Lille, Nice and Rennes.

If they want to do something very good then keep playing like this is very important for them today Lille lost against Brest which is very poor from them now in next few minutes we are having another match which is also very interesting as Lens going to host Marseille both are in good position and want to improve their position in league.

In today match surely Lyon need to do some good number of goals as now they are having some better results and joining into top 10 teams of French League but still very long way to go for them because their performance is very low from their standard, and they need to improve this in next few weeks for better results in this league. St Etienne is currently second-worst team in this French League, even their start was very good, but they completely fail to have momentum and now staying at bottom of French League with going into Ligue 2.

Tomorrow we have another very interesting match between Brest vs Lille with current form Lille has good chance to win the match and jump some more above from their current spot.
