In my opinion, Lille winning Ligue 1 last season was quite spectacular and of course we will need a long time to go back to seeing other clubs in Ligue 1 who can win in the future Grin

I think that Lille are preparing for their second win of the season against Lorient tonight. However, they should be really careful in this match. Because Lorient defeated Monaco 1-0 in this stadium. Playing away against them will not be easy for Lille. After finishing the last season as the champions, I don't see the same ambitious team so far. And this is reflecting on their performance also. They need to gather strength otherwise this season can be really troublesome for them.

Despite being the reigning champions, Lille's performance in Ligue 1 at the start of this season looks quite bad compared to last season, now Lille have played 4 matches and they only got 5 points, the result of 1 win, 2 draws and 1 loss, and the most surprising thing for me is that currently lille have conceded 9 goals and this is clearly a warning to lille for their poor defense, besides that lille also have the same points with 3 teams above them but Lille goal difference is minus 3 , is the worst of them, in my opinion lille this season is not as competitive as last season and it looks like it will be very impossible for them to maintain the ligue 1 cup this season.

We are starting the new game week with Lorient v Lille tonight. They both had a similar start but Lorient are three places up Lille now. Because Lille struggled so much in their first games and finally managed to win against Montpellier by 2-1. Considering their last two head-to-head games, Lille are a far better team than Lorient as they are the last champions in the Ligue 1 also. Lille was something else last season. Their performance was impressive, and they only lost 3 matches.
