A huge win for nice today against brest with 3 0 despite being a player short due to a red card on the 20th minutes but they managed to hold the advantage they had and score two more goals thanks to delort and gouiri and with these three points they took the second place from marseille for now.

I am very curious about today's French league classic, the Olympique Lyonnais - PSG game. It is a pity that many players will not be able to play in both teams. The one third of the first half has passed and Lens have been performing a little more for now. I think that both teams will score one goal at least. And Lens could be the first scoring team also. But Rennes are one of the durable teams and they wouldn't let their opponent win easily. Even if Lens somehow manage to win, it would be a win by one goal difference I think. I like to watch these teams both in this season as they are really trying for something.
Indeed the match ended with Lens winning with the goal difference. The game was tough, but Lens managed to secure a goal at the 89th minutes. Although, Lens played defensively, which made it difficult for Rennes to score any goal. All thanks to Said, he probably scored 19 minutes after he got in the match. It was a tough game for both teams none of them wanted to lose thats why we have not seen many occasions but in the end one goal was enough for lens to get back to winning since they had not won in the last six games a draw was more logical rennes team is really good. January 08, 2022, 03:16:33 PM

This will be a really competitive game hopefully. Because each team are a candidate to finish the season at the second position in the standings. I watch their performances admiringly. Lens seems to be the favourite side by a little gap. But I'm feeling closer to a draw and goals from both teams.
Marseille have already won their game and got 3 points, so even if Rennes won this match they will not be in second place in the table but will be in third place in the table (above Nice) and if Lens wins, Lens will be above AS Monaco . Until now it is very difficult to guess who will win in this match judging from the flow of the game, I have high hopes that Rennes will win this match because I have already placed a bet for them.

This will be a close match between these two teams. They are playing really good football this season and their results say everything. I think Lens with the home advantage can maybe take a small win today and go up on the table and try to fight for some europe places.

News reports indicate that Zinedine Zidane will become PSG - Paris Saint-Germain's coach as of June 2022. Even if Zidane joins, Kylian Mbappé might have a change of heart and stay at the French club. Although Zidane has turned down the PSG many times, I always enjoy hearing such news. That's my opinion, Mbabbe will leave regardless of what I say. Rumor has it this man will only build a team that includes big names, so chances are slim when Mbappé decides to leave.
Zidane isn't in hurry and wants to become the coach of France national team. He might join PSG but the contract will contain a text indicating that he can leave the club to join national team. Not sure Mbappe will stay just because Zidane will be the manager, staying there will require huge cash and other reasons for sure.

There was a pure dominance by Marseille in the opening game last night. Especially in the first half, Marseille performed superbly and dominated it. Their winning goal came in this half also. Marseille started letting Bordeaux come more in the second half. But this didn't make any change for the score and that was it. I really appreciate Marseille's performance in the current season. They can't get close to PSG maybe but they are maybe even the biggest candidate for the second spot.

Marseille are finally 1-0 ahead by the goal Cengiz Under scored a few minutes ago. It was a goal by the big mistake of Bordeaux's goalkeeper though. But even if we look at the statistics of the game, it shouldn't be hard to understand how great Marseille are playing now. They are highly deserving this win. They can even win by a big gap if Bordeaux don't start to do something as they have been poor so far.
Winning by 1 goal is a bad thing for Marseille in my opinion, Bordeaux's position is almost in the relegation zone while Marseille are at the top of Ligue 1, they should have won by many goals, more so if we look at the statistics of the game. In the next match they will face Lille, although at the moment Lille is bad and in the middle of the table, but they were Ligue 1 champions last season, Marseille must still be careful to face them.

If Zidane should accept PSG's offer and sign for them,it will really be a big boost for PSG,since this is what they always wanted,but I still doubt this news is true. To be frank,Zidane will really add some spices to PSG's game,and I believe he will turn things around at the club as well with his pattern of football.
Then talking about big name,there are big names already at the club,all they need is a good coach like Zidane.

I feel like it all depends on Zidane and Mbappe situation. Mbappe will want to leave, he always said he wanted to leave and Zidane probably wants him to stay so told the team that if Mbappe stays he will come to the team. By june 2022 we are definitely going to solve this issue, they are probably not talking about contracts every single day, but I say pay Mbappe whatever he wants, if it is 50 million pay him, if it is 70 million pay him, no matter what cost just keep him. He is going to be at this level for only a short period of time, and getting like 3 years of his prime would be worth more than just money.
How can Zidane decide the Mbappe case?Mbappe want to join Real Madrid not because Zidane is there. He want to join a club with huge traditional and great success in Champions League. Real Madrid is a biggest and most successful club in Champions League. Also playing in Real Madrid can help super star players to win personal titles.
Zidane is a good coach but he won't decide Mbappe case. How PSG perform and finish their journey in Champions League this season can be a key for this case. If PSG win Champions League, PSG might convince him to stay by signing a new contract with higher salary and with promise to make him as a legendary player in Paris.

Though coach Mauricio Pochettino is a good coach but he has not been able to stabilize the team well yet. Despite the incredible attack, PSG are struggling to score, with midfielders struggling to perform well. If Zidane takes charge of PSG then hopefully all the problems of PSG will be solved.

Hiring Zidane on top of that and having Messi and Neymar as most famous but some other amazing players, with some more money to get even other stars will eventually result with something amazing. There are some other stuff to take care of but it is definitely something amazing for sure.

Considering the Lyon - PSG game in two days, I see many players who are missing due to national selection, injuries and covid-19 for both teams. PSG have the biggest number of missing players also. But even Messi and Mbappe's playing in this game would be enough for not to lose this game I think. PSG are just dominating the season obviously and Lyon are going the opposite way compared to them. Maybe they can resist in the first half but PSG might finish this in the other one.
Don't you think something seriously is wrong with Lyon? Because to me it seems something is wrong with the team. Their performance this season is very poor, and I won't be surprise if they end up in the relegation zone. They currently seat at the 13th position on the standings, a team that won the Ligue 1 title last season. While concerning their match against PSG. Despite PSG missing some of their players, is still obvious that Lyon won't be able to withstand them. Without doubt the game Is probably an easy winning for PSG.

The first match of the week has started already. Bordeaux are hosting Marseille right now. Approximately 20 minutes have passed and Marseille are the better performing team so far. They found a few important chances too which they couldn't benefit from. But they seem to be very likely to score a goal first unless there is a surprise. Bordeaux are one of the weak teams of the season and they mightn't secure at least a draw in this match.

PSG will not be too influential even if they have to lose this match because they have high enough points compared to their competitors. PSG has a difference of 13 points with Nice and Marseille, this allows PSG to play without a burden. PSG's dominance in Ligue 1 convinced me to win, but if they have to lose then I don't think it will be a big problem. But PSG certainly shouldn't underestimate anyone at this time because the League is still long enough so there is still the possibility that other teams can take advantage of their decline in performance.
