what I'm thinking now is whether Donnarumma's decision to join PSG is a good choice or not, because until now Donnarumma has not played at all and of course if conditions like that continue it is likely to damage his future career

It is normally a good choice. Because PSG have one of the best lineups now and they are very likely to become the champions in the Champions League also this time. However, Keylor Navas is a big obstacle for him. Because he is still the main goalkeeper here. PSG don't seem very eager to change this for now. But maybe, they have some agreement with Navas and Donnarumma both. It can be like Donnarumma will start playing as of the CL games. And after that, maybe they will play in all of the games respectively. Otherwise, Donnarumma had better leave and join a team that he can find chances much more.
If indeed Donnarumma still wants to be the best goalkeeper, of course he should get more playing opportunities at PSG now and I think that is a very difficult thing, because until now Keylor Navas is still the main choice for Pochettino in guarding PSG goal, after all Keylor Navas performances which are quite consistent this season will certainly make Pochettino keep their squad, I think if Donnarumma is going to play only for the champions league of course it's not a good choice for him because the champions league has only a few games to play, and if indeed Keylor Navas is playing quite well in the league, it is not impossible that he will also play in the champions.

To be honest, I find it strange that Messi and Ramos are actually in the same team,  because they were previously at two big clubs competing against
each other. But this is football, a lot of surprises happen. Now Messi and Ramos are under contract at PSG and they have to be professional. and
I'm sure both of them can do that.
You will find many strange things from Messi and Ronaldo. They won their first national titles on the same day. They had shock transfers in a same summer. They are born to be a competitors with each other.

Ramos and Messi, they are professional and I think they will have no problem to play in the same team. Ramos shown his leadership in the first time he met Messi in PSG.

Quote
What's interesting with the many star players that PSG have, usually there will be a small commotion, because
usually star players are selfish. This is Pochettino's job as a coach who must manage his players, to be disciplined and professional. But we know
Pochettino has never coached a big team before, so this is the first time he has to manage a lot of star players.
It would bring headache to Pochettino because Ramos if is healthy, will not feel happy if he won't have a solid position in centre of PSG defense system. He will try to become a leader in the defense system after a few months.

I too had these same feeling whether Ramos and Messi would fit in one team, and then I realised that these player’s are pro athletes and while they may have their differences off the pitch, but on the pitch they’ll play as one team. Also I’m hoping that Messi shows some magic soon because after the hype, I’m really waiting to see him perform well on the pitch.
Of course, they are professional players they should be able to adjust. At first it looks strange, but now they are one house they should be able to help each other for Tim. In addition, the role of the coach is also very influential, Mauricio Pochettino should be able to make them feel comfortable. With experience with Tottenham he should be able to control all. It was the safest move to make the team stronger. Many star players are certainly a lot of selfish traits that are obtained because of player status.

I personally think that this is a bad deal from my POV but there is probably some assurance from PSG that he will play at some point to replace Navas, next season most likely. He is 22 years old and he could choose to play in all other league aside from Ligue 1, this will put a dent on his career especially if he is benched all the time

Anyway I think PSG has a chance to win all 38 matches this season without losing even once. This is pretty much expected from PSG especially with alot of top players in their squad

Having won the European Championship, I think Donnarumma will be eager and ambitious to win the Champions League.
The young likewise should grow,do I expect more start in the Champions League for him.
Navas is experience quite obvious but I'd choose the later over him.
Donnarumma's performance in the Euro 2020 championship was indeed very good and he even won the best player award in the championship, but what I'm thinking now is whether Donnarumma's decision to join PSG is a good choice or not, because until now Donnarumma has not played at all and of course if conditions like that continue it is likely to damage his future career and is it possible just to earn a big salary at PSG, Donnarumma is willing to become a backup goalkeeper for Keylor Navas Huh

I bet that Messi won't play all 90 minutes and won't start the match as a player in the squad. PSG needs him for Champions League and there is no reason why they use him after the international days. They will give him time to rest.

Without Messi, with players they have, PSG will win the match and perhaps win it easily.

I don't think coach Pocchetinno will give Messi a chance to play for 90 minutes. But the coach should put Messi on the field in every match now. So that he can get a good idea about PSG's match strategy and play style. And his understanding with the players is even better. Messi is not needed in Ligue 1 matches. PSG is strong enough without Messi.
Pocchetino needs to give Messi, Donnarumma and Ramos once healed some time to play in the next game imo, 45 minutes should be enough for Messi and Ramos as a start, less than this their impact will be limited like the previous time with Messi and obviously that might affect them negatively since fans and everyone are expecting a lot from them. For Donnarumma, he should play full time whether vs Clermont or in CL, or else Pochettino should explain why the best goalkeeper is on the bench for this long time!

Great question. I am curious too. Messi needs time to recover after long flight, jet lag and international matches. I think PSG will not use him in the debut squad. If Messi plays, he will start from the bench and join as a substitution.

Ramos is still struggling to recover from injury and get his fitness back. Maybe next one month, we might see them in the squad of PSG.

PSG must win this match anyway. With such players in the squad, even a draw will be a failure. And no reason can justify the PSG players in case of failure. The only question is whether Messi will score in this match.

PSG's next opponent is Clermont and the game is on September 11.

I look forward to seeing the performances of Messi Neymar and Ramos together. We all know that Ramos has been the enemy of Messi and Neymar for so long. Ramos has fouled Messi in a bad way many times. Now they will play in the same team at the same time, I am eagerly waiting to see their performance.

PSG has not been defeated in the league so far and of course Clermont will be a commensurate opponent for PSG, because Clermont is in a pretty good condition and team performance, and currently they are in 3rd place in the standings with 8 points from 4 matches and only 4 differences points from PSG which is the leader of the standings, although on paper PSG is more superior but of course Clermont still has the opportunity to be able to get points in Parc des Princes stadium.
The match will certainly be very interesting in my opinion, as a team with a promotion status, Clermont was able to show a fairly consistent and impressive performance at the start of the competition.

Where have you seen that Leo Messi and Neymar will play against Clermont Foot next saturday? Argentina is playing against Bolivia on friday 10th september at Buenos Aires and Brazil is meeting Peru the same day in Brazil. So there are very few chances to see Neymar and Messi being on the field for PSG-Clermont saturday 11th september in France.

Then, we will not see Mbappe-Messi-Neymar trio again in this match as it seems.  Grin  I didn't know that Argentina and Brazil had still World Cup qualifier matches right before the league matches. And Brazil - Argentina match was also postponed to another unknown date. This is still a very easy match for PSG even without Messi and Neymar both. I suppose Mbappe will carry the team again to a victory.

I dont think they will have a problem they both are proffessional players and that heat between them was only because el classico was always really competitive and high stakes games it wilk be a real test for psg against clerment they are really good and had positive results and good performance.
Clermont Foot's performance is admirable. They have won the first two matches 2-0. In the third match, they drew 3-3, and in the last fourth match, they drew 2-2 against Metz to share the points. The team is strong. PSG will have to form a strong squad to win against them.

Maybe they won't be able to perform against Clermont Foot. There is a match between Bridge and Argentina on the 10th, if they perform in the national team then maybe they will not be able to perform in the match of PSG.

I assume that PSG will focus on winning the Champions League title more than the Ligue 1 this season. Because they have a trio like Mbappe - Neymar - Messi now. As Mbappe will be leaving the team next summer most probably, maybe they won't find a this close chance to win the title later. But of course I don't mean that they will just let the Ligue 1 go.
PSG haven't won the Champions League title before, and their full attention is on winning it this season, which will probably be their first Champion League trophy. They made it to the semi-final last season, but was knocked out by Manchester City after losing their home and away match. This season will however be different because they now have a strong squad, they also lost the Ligue 1 title last season to Lille, but will fight for it this season.

We are getting close to the league games finally. I missed to watch Messi playing already.  Grin  This time, I really believe that we will see Messi in the starting eleven. He is not lacking match fitness anymore. We should see him with Mbappe and Neymar alongside him. This is a really deadly trio for all the teams now. PSG's next opponent is Clermont and the game is on September 11. I hope to see Messi making an assist or scoring goal. But even if he doesn't do any of them now, there is no problem. He will start to play like real Messi after adapting to the players and the strategy.
