Marseille and Lens failure and previously Lille, made the table of Ligue 1 quite unstable with a huge change every year except for PSG until now of course.

Luis Enrique has once again proven his expertise as a coach by formulating the perfect strategy for PSG. I think Marquinhos' absence is more significant than folks realize. He is PSG's defensive pillar, and without him, a gap will exist. PSG isnt just about one player, and they've demonstrated they can still perform well, but a player of his caliber is hard to replace. Luis Enrique may not show it, but he's under pressure to change his strategy in the forthcoming games. PSG's strength is teamwork, but Marquinhos adds stability and technique thats hard to equal. What they'll do versus Newcastle and Monaco is intriguing. They have depth, but every team misses a major player, even PSG.

@Blitzboy PSG comfortably won this game and while I was hoping for a fight from Monaco they barely offered anything of much significance which clearly shows they need to work on their strategies. Further while there were glimpses of good football from Monaco but if they wish to secure a top 4 spot then they’ll have to do better because it’s clear that PSG will be winning the title once more.

A very convincing victory was achieved by Paris Saint Germain with a final score of 5-2 in their favor. It seems they are really ready to be able to beat Monaco in this match. I think it will be a tight match, after Monaco could slightly offset the game from Paris Saint Germain in the first half. But entering the second half they were completely overwhelmed by the attacking line from Paris Sint Germain, and in the end goal after goal was created against them so that the score became 4-1. Although they created another goal in the 75th minute, Paris Saint Germain also broke into Monaco's goal again in the final minute of the match.

Its so important for PSG players to learn to perform well without relying solely on Mbappe's skills..This kind of teamwork is what we need more of. I can't wait to observe PSG's performance in the Champions League.

You mentioned a good point, Mbappe's contract running out soon, It's really important for PSG to be prepared for whatever might happen next season, I wont lie but i doubt PSG if they really have plan B to compensate the player Mbappe if he leaves for Real Madrid.

The only sense plan for PSG to find mbappe's replacement. I don't see another possibility to make mbappe stay even longer in the club. I meant let's say that if PSG will be offering him another big offer but mbappe is now only focusing on how to achieve more target.

Monaco actually surprised me yesterday. I actually didn’t expect such an outcome in the match because even last season when PSG was in better form than this, Monaco beat them and we wouldn't be able to lose against them, but this season when Monaco added some quality players to their squad, I never expected them to lose the match. The worst I was expecting was a draw because both of them were in good form in the league since they have gone some matches without defeats.

After a goalless draw with Montpellier, I don't anticipate Nice to lose their home match against Toulouse tomorrow since they have clearly noticed that Monaco is making an attempt to catch up with them, while PSG is trying to give them more space. They needed that game to go top of the league and they did that comfortably with the help of every single player that played last night.
That's how it should be, it should be collective efforts and not just from a certain player who has to score and create all of the chances too. This was what happened last season exactly, they expected too much results from Lionel Messi and Neymar Junior and when they failed to achieve that the fans got disappointed. Lionel Messi and Neymar Junior alongside Kylian Mbappe did most of the creativity and goal scoring so the load was just too much for em.

Luis Enrique has brought in a pattern I love, the midfielder's and attackers are now scoring goals like they should do. Kylian Mbappe will soon be gone for good, so it's cool to see that they have started scoring goals without relying so much on the lad.

Actually, if you look at the matches they play Monaco is quite feasible to be an opponent of PSG, it's just that there are some mistakes they make themselves which actually make PSG get an advantage. Monaco even scored a goal first only for it to be disallowed because there was an offside before.

Monaco's fatal flaw in this match was that they let PSG's attacking players stand unattended. Their intentions are quite good by only focusing on defense and ball movement, it's just that they let a lot of movement without the ball of PSG players which actually makes a disaster and even several goals occur because they don't mark the players and only focus on the ball.

The results is really predictable that PSG can able to overcomes Monaco without any problem but indeed a bit surprised why Monaco was displayed weak defense because PSG can able to win with big scores and if i am not mistaken this is the first time to Monaco lose with big scores and after this result PSG still able to managed first place

For other match between Clermont vs Lens and the recent performance from them is not so different because in the last 5 matches whether it Clermont or Lens has experienced 1 lose from those matches although probably Clermont position currently is not really good because they currently at relegation zone but don't mean they will easily to beat and Lens this season had unstable performance although in this match Lens is the favourite but i don't think they can able to overcomes Clermont even i was thinking this match will ended to draw

It was just the opposite kind of a result of what I expected from this game between PSG and Monaco. PSG demolished their opponent by 5-2. The interesting and good part is that Mbappe didn't have to carry the team by himself this time. Because the team effort was really impressive. Mbappe scored only 1 goal today.

I want to see more of this kind of performances from PSG players. They need to learn without a solo carry as well. In the end Mbappe still hasn't extended his contract so it runs out by the end of the season. They should be ready for every kind of scenario.

The Monaco team initially considered as good opponents for PSG but sadly it didn't quite live up to the expected challenge.The PSG did amazing, it was impressive to see the team's collective effort leading to the victory. Its so important for PSG players to learn to perform well without relying solely on Mbappe's skills..This kind of teamwork is what we need more of. I can't wait to observe PSG's performance in the Champions League.

You mentioned a good point, Mbappe's contract running out soon, It's really important for PSG to be prepared for whatever might happen next season, I wont lie but i doubt PSG if they really have plan B to compensate the player Mbappe if he leaves for Real Madrid.
