What a game it was! I thought one way or another Lille would win this one. They were really dominant in the first half and finished it 2-0 ahead. Lyon were able to do nothing.

However magically they changed roles and Lyon were extremely good in the second half. It was really a goal duel and the winner was Lyon by 4-3. I just have big respect for what Lyon have done so far in the same season. First a horrible start and maintaining it for so many weeks, later a huge climb in the standings.    There are two weeks left and Lyon can even qualify for a tournament like the Conference League (maybe even the Europa League  ).

They've never clinched the Champion League title, and unless they revamp their main squad, it's unlikely they ever will. The best teams are the ones that score goals consistently. Playing well doesn't matter if you can't find the back of the net. They've relied heavily on luck in many matches and barely escaped elimination in the first round this season. Frankly, their performance has been subpar in several games. Despite having star players and coaches over the years, they lack depth in their squad and haven't utilized their players to their full potential. Their game plan often seemed focused solely on getting Mbappe opportunities, neglecting other players' abilities to dribble and take on defenders. The absence of young talent might have been their downfall all along. Madrid, on the other hand, has both experience and motivation, making them better equipped to handle such challenges.

Maybe because it is the end of the season, they are finding it hard to actually concentrate and they might also have a little bit of an issue with fatigue as well. After all, it is not easy to continue performing well throughout the whole season and not have a little health issue. The performance from them was definitely great. But they are not being able to be consistent enough towards the end when it counts.

I just hope that they will be able to finish in a position where they will be able to compete in the Champions League competition next season. They are currently on the third position of the table and I think they should be able to finish on the third position as well. Because the two matches that they have left in this season are against mid table teams. Reims should not be a problem for them but Toulouse has been performing pretty decently. I just hope that Brest will be able to win both of those matches.

I think PSG should learn from Madrid, even though Madrid used to buy great players, they bought young, talented players, not players who were old enough and their performance was not as good as when they were young, therefore having Messi and Neymar also didn't help PSG win the UCL. but Madrid has won several UCL trophies because they always get talented young players and fill their main squad, that's why Madrid is always smart in getting good players to have so they can perform better.

If Mbappe moves next season, PSG should focus on looking for young, talented players to fill their main squad so that they can be relied on to play better than this season. I also don't know if Enrique is good enough to keep, but whatever it is, PSG will never managed to win the UCL title if they don't overhaul their main squad well, but I don't think PSG failed because this season they are much better and can reach the semi-finals of the UCL and maybe next season they can reach the final of the UCL and win it, no What is impossible is that whatever failures this season have to be corrected, if we talk about Ligue 1, it is certain that PSG will win it this season.

Lille was too confident when they were leading 3:2 from the 85th minute after that they forgot that the opposing club still had time to counterattack in the remaining time, Lille was careless which made Lyon use the gap to make a quick counterattack by scoring 2 goals In a short time, this shows that Lyon always has a chance when their opponents feel too confident to win. Lyon is a strong club, but it just wasn't well developed at the start of the season. Now entering the second half of the season, Lyon has found its rhythm again and is performing well again.

 Brest haven’t been consistent this season because when you see them at the start of the season, you’ll be very optimistic that they’ll finish the season comfortably. Well football happened and they weren’t able to maintain the good stat. Now they will have to be very resilient to be able to get to UCL as they have not been able to comfortably secure that spot.

 For Lile, I think the loss yesterday is to show them that the race isn’t over yet and if they don’t take time, then it will be all over for them.  The match between Brest and Lile is one I feel might be the decider of who makes it to the UCL next season and I’m more confident on Lile being able to go through to the UCL.

 Monaco have been pretty cool this season and you can see them not being under this pressure of Lile and Brest as they just need one win to be able to make it to UCL and it’s very possible they get the win this weekend. I’m loving and enjoying this end of the season drama as it makes the league really exciting and I wish they’ll take this kind of competition in going for the league title.

PSG has quite a lot to improve and it is fitting that they should make different progress from what they have done recently, namely by no longer relying on the power of money to create an instant team. Maybe I think it would be better for the PSG team to be built with a strong framework for long-term projects. with targets for the next few years.

Luis Henrique is actually a good coach, but it must be admitted that PSG has not yet reached a high level to compete with other top European teams in the Champions League.
The defeat against Dortmund was quite painful for PSG fans, especially before the match, quite a lot of people believed that PSG would be able to turn things around, but in fact that wasn't the case.

Brest needs to improve on their performance because they now have Lille and Nice that's targeting the 3 position they are now especially Lille their points is very close to Brest so perhaps if Brest is not consistent enough to win their remaining two matches they may likely not going to qualify for the champions League next season so this is actually the time they need to work hard so that all their efforts right from the beginning of the season will not go to waste.

It's a little strange to see Lille appearance when they looked very aggressive in the first half but in the second half everything changed very big after Benrahma scored the first score, Lille appearance still looked a little relaxed, not too aggressive because they knew that there was still an empty gap for Lyon to break into Lille goal and Lille can still put up resistance.

Its very disappointed result for PSG after waiting more longer time and has opportunity reach to final round but got defeated by Dortmund back to back in away and home match. PSG must learned more with winning mentality and not depend on referee how easily make come back against Barcelona on quarter final after Barcelona have to play with ten players. I don't think how possibilities for next season PSG will reach to semifinal or winning UEFA Champion League trophy behind their key players Kylian Mbappe will leave PSG next season.

Indeed the games must continues but believing most of PSG fans can't acceptable with the loss result and failed reach to UEFA Champion League final in this, for next season Luis Henrique must build up new composition and combined between senior or youth players not only dominance in Ligue 1 but also must be the Champion League winner.

Well, it may not it at all, but, we may not close our eyes if disappointment is very visible, especially for the PSG players who have tried very hard to reach the semi-finals. Yes, maybe they can do it next season, but they can't guarantee that either. they have Mbappe, but they still fail. And Mbappe also feels the same, having failed to bring his club into the final round even though this is their last season at PSG. Mixed feelings appear in them, disappointment and sadness are inevitable.

But you are absolutely right, it's not it at all. The game must continue. This will be more valuable learning for the future. because, they still can't be that strong, even though they have football stars, even when Messi and Neymar were together with Mbappe at that time, they still couldn't win the UCL. Most of these goals scored came as a result of errors, as it was generally a game filled up with mistakes from start to the end. Most beautiful goal was that scored by Benrahma anyways, it was ruled off but thanks to the supervision of the Var to finally award that goal. I could also see Lacazette the former Arsenal man doing his job attacking and supporting, they could most likely be in the Champions League Competition next season.

Paris Saint Germans last night was not it at all, even at home Borrussia Dortmund was still able to be the best team in my own opinion because several dangerous attacks was launched on league 1 Giants. What I know is that failure is not that bad they should go harder next season but make sure they bring in special players but ho are creative in midfied. They rest all hope on winger's and that's not enough in a game.

They really lost in injury time. They probably didn't expect that Lyon would be able to add 1 more goal during extra time through a goal from Mama Balde. This certainly surprised the Lille players. Because of this mistake, Lille's position could not be in the top 3. In fact, this was quite difficult for them because the season was almost over and they still had another tough match against Nice in the last match. As for Brest, they should have an opponent who is easier to beat.

Anyway, PSG really looks like they're going to advance to the final round. because it's almost finished and on aggregate it's actually Dortmund who is ahead with 2 goals, while PSG, they haven't even been able to score 1 goal so far. they only won in ball possession, but did not score at all.

Lille failed to win maximum points in the home match which in turn meant they failed to take advantage of the draw experienced by Brest to get the same points. Lille certainly still has a chance to qualify for the Champions League next season if their performance improves in the remainder of the season, but of course it will be difficult because Lille and Brest only have 2 more matches until this season end.

Lyon is certainly happy with Lille's victory, but Lille certainly regrets it very much. Lille will play Nantes and Nice in the remainder of the season, while Brest will try to maintain a 2-point gap from Lille when they face Reims and Toulouse in the remainder of the season. Both teams are fighting for Champions League tickets, but I think Lille is almost certain to fail due to that defeat.

Maybe Lille also underestimated Lyon, because Lille won 2-0 at half time but who thought Lyon was able to comeback in the secondhalf. Lyon were only able to equalize the score to 2-2 and after that Lille managed to score again in the 85th minute and the score was 3-2. Thus,maybe Lille thought Lyon was no longer able to make a goal because the match at least only left 5 minutes of normal time. But anyway,the reality is that Lyon is still able to make goals and even make 2 goals and with this result Lyon has a good chance to finish in the top six . But besidesthat, atleast with Lille defeat also made me lose in my bet, because I bet on Lille in this match.

In the most important match of the week, Lille lost at home to Lyon. The 2 teams have different goals in the league and both need a win. Lille wants to finish 3rd in the league while Lyon wants to finish in the top 5. The match was very exciting and I honestly didn't expect such a comeback from Lyon. It was great for Lyon to have this kind of comeback on the road. With the point they got from this match, they managed to get one step closer to the top.

A really bad performance from LOSC in the last match. The defending was terrible from both teams, to be honest. But it was actually a little more terrible from LOSC. They had a genuine chance to actually get ahead of Brest. but now they are two points behind them. Brest dropped points against Nantes and I thought that was the time when they were actually going to be pushed out from the Champions League group stage position, from the top three positions of the table. But LOSC was unable to take advantage of this chance.

Now if Nice is able to win the next match, LOSC will have nice to think about because there will only be a difference of one point between them and Nice. I think there are still a lot of chances for the position of the teams to be changed in this league. If we actually forget that PSG is a team in this league, the league actually becomes interesting.

 Well as the season is about to end we can see all teams gearing up as they will want to be performing in the UCL next season. In the Ligue 1, you can already term PSG as winners of the league. The main competition in this league is on who qualifies for UCL as many felt Lille will be able to overthrow Brest in 2nd but it wasn’t possible as they were mot able to get the wins in the recent matches.

 I think these losses now put Lille in tight corner and they want to remain their remaining matches to at least feature In UCL next season. Moncao are in a better position as they just need 3 points from their next match and they’ll comfortably be ready for UCL football next season. Lyon also want to try to secure an European spot but it’s not going to be an all easy fixture for the 3 teams in this tight race this season.

 ⁠I think this competition for UCL football is quite interesting but it will be more fun if this competition is taken for the league title next season. The way these clubs are taking every final match makes this league look interesting and is now catching our attention and I wish the clubs will take this competition and be able to fight for the league title next season.
