Strasbourg have recently become one of Ligue 1's most ambitious teams. Strasbourg will host PSG, who are also in the title race this season. Scoring in 8 games and climbing up to middle row, Strasbourg have lost only once in their last 10 games. This is incredibly motivating for them and they will want to keep it going. PSG, on the other hand, will want to continue their title run after the surprise home draw against Brest and will have a game plan accordingly. PSG can be mentally drained at times and I expect them to keep things tight against a team on the rise, while Strasbourg will want to take advantage of their home field advantage and add to their good run. PSG will have their work cut out for them in this match and they could suffer a surprise defeat.
It was a truly surprising result. They are only 6 points ahead of NICE at the moment. But I think Nice will not be able to catch PSG's points because we know PSG is able to bounce back after unsatisfactory results and Nice also often appear inconsistent in several matches. So I think PSG will still be champions at the end of the season.
Against Strasbourg I don't think they will be able to beat PSG. Strasbourg has indeed performed quite well in the last five matches and is able to be in the middle of the standings. But it won't be enough to say they will be able to shock the world by beating PSG.
PSG would definitely not let that happen, we are going to end up with them getting it one way or another. I get that it is not going to be all that simple and we are going to end up with a result that would be a little different to handle. I know that PSG is good and all, so we should just let them be, that will allow them to get a much better result.

I hope that people could keep on betting on them to win, just because they may have a few bad games doesn't mean that they are going to end up losing points on all games and we should consider betting on them as a good way to make money. I will always say that through a year there will be some games they will lose points, but betting them to win overall is more profitable for me for years now.

"...the uncertainty of whether Mbappe will survive or not next season..."

Is Mbappe sick or something? Damn this is huge news you are spreading here, but I couldn't find any headlines or any other source that confirms Mbappe might die next season. Where did you get the information from that nobody really knows whether Mbappe will survive next season? I doubt that Real Madrid would be willing to sign a player as the new big figure who is supposed to drive the future of Real Madrid forward if they can't tell whether he is even going to live for another 12 months.

I am very curious where you got these news from and if you can share your source, then please do it. But I respect if you got some inside information here. Too bad Mbappe is ill. I hope the best for him.

It's a player's decision if he wants to stay in a club or leave, also it depends on his contract signed with the team as well as the teams decision to either keep him or let him go. In PSG, Mbappe is one key man that they don't want to give off yet. Even though his contract is set to expire by summer, they still know he's advantageous and would want to keep him.

For Mbappe, his stay in the team beyond and after the expiration of the contract seems to be dependent on his intentions as well as the teams performance in the long run. Good thing for him that Madrid may not really be interested in him yet until summer so he's got to be a bit patient till then, then maybe, he'd be willing to join the Spanish side. Even though Liverpool were questing for him as well, i do not think they were set to afford that amount for him during this transfer window. Let's just see how next summer would be as regards Mbappe and teams surrounding him.

It seems that you did not fully understand what I was referring to in my post. The guy said that it is unclear whether Mbappe will survive next season. So what comes to your mind when someone says it is unclear whether that person will live for another year? I was wondering whether he knows something about a secret illness that Mbappe has or why should he bring up this topic that Mbappe might not survive next season? It's ridiculous to even bring this up without quoting some source.

PSG are in a comfortable position at the top and have been unbeaten for a long time. In the Brest game they were too comfortable with a 2-0 lead and the game ended 2-2, but this loss of points won't affect them too much. They will take 3 points against Strasbourg and move on.
Barcola red carded in the last game but he's not a major absence. Dembele's absence is a bigger problem, but other attacking players will make up for it. Strasbourg have a 6-match unbeaten streak but it will end today. I expect PSG to win but it could be a close game.

Although indeed, PSG is still projected to win this away match against Strasbourg but yes, at least it will not be completely easy for PSG to win this match . Because, even though Strasbourg always fails to beat PSG but ya, in reality Strasbourg can still manage to hold PSG to a draw on several occasions . Moreover, at least at this moment Strasbourg is also in a good trend at the level they have and therefore, of course Strasbourg will be able to play well in this match to get points too. So ya, it's interesting of course, because in reality PSG is also unbeaten so far in away matches and therefore, whether PSG will be able to continue its unbeaten trend in away matches this season, or maybe fail, who knows.

Strasbourg will face with PSG soon and they are not in the good form to even make any problems for PSG because the current squad of PSG is strong enough to beat Strasbourg easily.
However, the performance of Strasbourg was not bad at all in the recent games we saw from them and Strasbourg was unbeaned in the last few games we saw from this team which can show this team is ready to get even a draw against PSG but I don't think if they can.
Strasbourg is doing decent job in middle of the league table with their recent performance is surely giving them good chance for try to have better things for the rest of this season in their last few games they are achieving more than their quality and performance but now it tests time for them against PSG as they are at the top and having no defeat in last few games but in last game after having 2–0 at the half-time then ended with 2–2 against Brest at home is shocker and this is surely encouragement for them to have better result in this match and try to cut difference of points.

Strasbourg having chance for the UEFA competitions because most of the teams are unpredictable, and their performance is also not as they were doing few weeks back, so options are available, and they surely try to have something impressive.

Overall, PSG current squad depth is very good, they have an even squad across all lines, and it looks like Luis Enrique has taken the risk of just using the available players. It's true, when you look at PSG track record this season in the Champions League, it seems like they need additional proven strength to be able to get closer to their ambition of winning the most prestigious trophy in Europe. It could be that PSG is avoiding FFP sanctions that might be imposed on the club, because they continue to buy star players at exorbitant prices.

I think PSG actually doesn't need to add any more star players if they can ensure Mbappe stays at the club, but if Mbappe leaves then there is no other choice for PSG. On the other hand, Luis Enrique actually has to streamline his squad next season, there are several players who appear very far from standard. It's possible that PSG will start shopping for players on a large scale again after the season ends, and for this season we'll see what Luis Enrique can provide with the squad that is already available.
Well, it's quite true that if you look at PSG performance in Ligue 1, it seems like there won't be any difficult obstacles for them to win the trophy this season. The depth of the squad which is strong enough this season will make them at the forefront to continue to dominate as a team that wins successive trophies. This season, Luis enrigue has many quality players in the team, from the starting eleven to the reserve players, all of whom have the best quality. So there is no obstacle for Enrique to bring PSG to win the Ligue 1 trophy this season.

PSG's squad depth so far is only good enough to compete in the domestic league rather than the Champions League. PSG doesn't have a good squad in all positions, in fact I'm not sure their midfielders are really able to control a lot of pressure in the high-tension matches in the Champions League this season. A team that focuses on ball possession and passing short balls must have great midfielders who are able to control and build attacks well. PSG doesn't have that even though they have many top strikers.

PSG tends to fail to play calmly when there is great pressure from better teams. Luis Enrique needs good players for that, otherwise I'm sure PSG will never be successful in the Champions League. Luis Enrique won the Champions League title with Barcelona because he had a good squad and was supported by a great midfielder. Pep Guardiola, Jurgen Klopp, Carlo Ancelotti and several other coaches are also the same.

But in the previous match, PSG was held to a draw by Brest, which made PSG performance in the previous match less than satisfactory. However, I think they will return to winning ways in tomorrow's match when they face Strasbourg. In the standings table, PSG is 6 points ahead of its closest competitor. Of course, in tomorrow match, PSG will focus well on getting 3 points again to widen the point gap with the second place team.

After failing to win against Brest in the previous match, it is very possible for PSG to maximize their away match today to win it. PSG must not lose any more points so that its closest competitors do not get closer, meaning that PSG must win today's match whatever the scenario. The problem is, Strasbourg has had a good performance in their last 5 matches, they are unbeaten.

For a long time, PSG has often been inconsistent and that also happened this season.
In Ligeu 1 there is no team that has comparable quality to PSG so they are quite dominant even though overall they do not show impressive and consistent performance in a full season.

For the next match, PSG is still the favorite, but I suggest to avoid betting on PSG, especially if you want to take PSG to win or handicap, that is really risky with PSG's current performance.
Luis Enrique is happy with his team, atleast they're elite and doesn't give him more stress than his former club, he needs to continue his streak winnings and ensure he grab the important points for the club, accolades received are based on the tremendous display of his team and his lucrative team's tactics for matches. Paris Saint-Germain only stand top because there's no other competitive club competent of competing with then for the Ligue One title. PSG remained favorite to win the League title this season, notwithstanding any pressure coming in.

For today match although PSG has just gets draw result from Brest last week but their status is still the favourite this because PSG was unbeatable in the last 14 matches and gets 11 wins from those matches and for their opponent Strasbourg indeed since Patrick Vieira handle this team Strasbourg performance was much better even if we see from the recent performance from Strasbourg this team has showing significant progress because in Ligue 1 Strasbourg can gets 3 wins from 5 latest matches and these good results too makes their position on league standings is much better and Strasbourg position is now safe from relegation zone
PSG still favorable team for winning upcoming match today against Strasbourg and won't loss points second time in a row after last match hold draw by Brest.
Strasbourg is 10th standings position team awhile and have not winning last two matches in a row, I think not difficult for PSG get winning this match and make comfortable the first standings position from Nice pressure on 2nd place behind 6 points remaining. Sport bookie give interested odd for PSG after getting draw last match and against Strasbourg got @1.55 odds and likely very bigger odd, PSG will play full team in this match because they don't have any schedule yet except will face Real Sociedad in Champion League two weeks later

It's not an easy match, but with all the advantages on paper they have, they should be able to finish this match with a win.
In fact, every Ligue 1 match they play, Paris Saint Germain will always hold the status of favorites, no matter who the opponent is. But the fact is that they also often slip up and in the end do not win the match. I will consider it still reasonable, because it is not easy to get a victory in every match. But the problem is when they don't show a good game, because we can say their defeat or draw is not because they are unlucky, but they deserve to get that result judging by their performance in the matches they play.
Apart from winning, for me a promising game must also be shown.

because in Ligue 1 no team can shift PSG's dominance. competition is possible for other teams, but not for PSG.
The impact can be seen when PSG competes in European competitions. with poor game consistency, they dream of the Champions League, but they always fail.
All fans must have seen how the competition in Ligue 1 is not the same as in the Premier League or Serie A.

After they failed to maintain their victory against Brest, Paris Saint Germain will travel to Strasbourg headquarters this week. They must not make the same mistakes in this match as they did before, because it costs them a lot.
Statistically, the club they will face in this match is no better than the club they played against the previous week, so their chances of winning could be greater. However, they still shouldn't underestimate their opponents, which might later come back to harm them.
It would be a shame if they had to suffer unsatisfactory results again with opponents who were no better than them. They must prepare for the match as best as possible.

Yes, playing away for PSG against Strasbourg is at least not an easy match for PSG because in reality Strasbourg has also been a pretty good team so far this season because Strasbourg can still compete in the top 10. But yes, even though Strasbourg has a pretty good record this season but still, basically PSG has better quality which still makes it possible for PSG to keep winning . Because after all, in their first meeting this season, Strasbourg lost by PSG with a score of 3-0 at that time. But indeed, basically PSG still has good points and of course, PSG will remain safe at the top of the Ligue 1 standings because after all, the teams below PSG in the standings are also not at all good enough to challenge for the title.
It's not an easy match, but with all the advantages on paper they have, they should be able to finish this match with a win.

Looking at PSG right now, the way they did not really felt like they needed any big names to the team during winter was actually a statement on what they think about the team.

I am not saying that they are going to need it for the league, they do not need anyone for the league, but they would need some better players for the UCL title if they want that, which I can see that they really do want it but they are not really approaching it like they do. If they got some super names during the winter break, that would have made them so much better and they could use those players to get some good results at UCL as well. They already won everything except the UCL title so they should be focusing their moves based on that.
Overall, PSG current squad depth is very good, they have an even squad across all lines, and it looks like Luis Enrique has taken the risk of just using the available players. It's possible that PSG will start shopping for players on a large scale again after the season ends, and for this season we'll see what Luis Enrique can provide with the squad that is already available.

The current squad in PSG is strong enough to beat any team and they have good players there but the fact about PSG is they are perfect in the French League but still, this team needs much more work for the Champions League and I don't think if the current PSG can even be a problem for other teams in the Champions League. However, they are lucky enough to have a huge gap in the French League with Nice because they are playing in the French League with less stress.
Yes, it is true that PSG is still the strongest club in league 1, it can beat any club but not all of them because in reality against Brest it only ended in a draw and against Lille it also ended in a draw and that means PSG is the strongest club in league 1 but if it is against a club that knows the strategy or every loophole in PSG will definitely only end in a draw as Lille and Brest know how PSG players play.

Talking about PSG in the Champions League, I'm not sure it will be successful as long as it doesn't have solid players.
I say this because PSG, although very strong in League 1, is all because of its flagship player Mbappe, but in the Champions League it requires strong competition and if a club doesn't have solid cooperation and only relies on one player as a scorer, I'm sure it will be easy. The opponent will read the strategy and of course the opposing club will continue to focus on Mbappe so that he will not score easily.
PSG can win the title in the Champions League as long as they are able to provide other strategies such as relying on all players to play an important role as scorers as long as there is an opportunity defenders must also be able to score.

If we talking about meeting statistics for both teams obviously PSG is much better because as the strongest team in Ligue 1 it's hard for other teams to beat them even so with Strasbourg because Strasbourg has poor records from PSG and about this match Bradley Barcola will be absense because he was received red card when PSG draw from Brest last week and Ousmane Dembele probably will not available today because he was not in the good fitness and PSG certainly will being an the winner of this match but PSG has odds @1.51 but other option just like both teams to scores or over 2.5 goals also good pick for this match

It would not be surprising if in the end PSG managed to stop the positive results achieved by Strasbourg in the previous few matches and honestly, Strasbourg's advantage as host will not be enough to save them from defeat tonight. PSG will still continue to advance with another win even though in the previous match they had to draw against Brest.

If we look at the H2H of these two teams, PSG has actually dominated quite a bit, but draws often thwart PSG's ambition to win. But I think a team like PSG will not dwell on poor results and they will recover quickly. Kylian Mbappe will still be a frightening figure for opposing defenses and I hope he can score another goal again in this match. I would bet on PSG absolutely and I wouldn't hesitate to add a handicap to increase the betting odds.

The problem is the uncertainty of whether Mbappe will survive or not next season because after all, with the drama they created at the beginning of last season, this is actually a sign that Mbappe's future at PSG will not last long because until now, in my opinion, PSG only continues to try to impose its will by holding Mbappe in the conditions of Mbappe's contract which is not long over.

This will have a domino effect in the end if indeed Mbappe leaves, PSG will inevitably pour out considerable capital to bring star players as their replacement but if indeed Mbappe survives, at least there is little hope while looking for suitable players in midfield because until now the attack line with Mbappe in it has been very good, it's just that their midfield and of course their coach are also still quite dubious.

The uncertainty surrounding Kylian Mbappe's future at PSG does indeed raise concerns, especially considering the drama could widen again and the relatively short time left on his contract. If Mbappe decides to leave, PSG will likely need to allocate substantial resources to secure a suitable replacement. The departure of a player of Mbappe's caliber could pose a challenge for the team, and finding a player with a comparable impact on the attack might prove to be a difficult task.

If Mbappe stays, there is hope for the team's attacking prowess to continue flourishing. But PSG need A well-balanced team that requires strength in all areas, not just the attack. The uncertainty around Mbappe's future adds an element of suspense to PSG's upcoming season, and it will be interesting to see how the club navigates these challenges, both in terms of player retention and strategic planning for the team's overall composition.
