Brest is not a strong and rich team. this season made a surprise until week 19 is still able to perch in 3rd place in the French league standings. if able to stay in the top 3 until the end of the competition is an extraordinary achievement that will bring Brest to play in the champions league competition. actually qualifying for the Europa League alone is an extraordinary achievement for Brest. last season Brest only ended up at the bottom of the French league in 14th position. so even though playing at home nice opponent is quite heavy to win this match.

PSG have always fielded strong attacking units but they have always failed to strengthen their defence. In the season before this season and in the previous seasons we have seen psg struggle to defend and have lost most of their matches due to not defending well. If PSG had employed a good quality defense in their team, PSG would not have drawn this match but PSG would have got full points in this match. I think PSG's defense needs to be improved as well as the midfield that PSG has. The midfielders are not doing their job properly which is causing the extra pressure the defense is getting and the extra pressure on an already weak defense can be attributed to PSG's poor defense and midfield. PSG has a manager with skills and experience who must have noticed and will probably think about it.
If the management wants and if the team has experienced managers then it is definitely possible to organize a team self-sufficiently. If you can afford to spend money and recruit the right players by understanding the needs of each position, your team will definitely be strong in every position. Getting to the UCL will be one big achievement for them but still I don’t think they’ll be able to go past the group stage because they are not seen as a team that’ll be able to compete in such elite competition and rather it’ll be a plus to other big teams in their supposed group. Brest is not a strong and rich team. this season made a surprise until week 19 is still able to perch in 3rd place in the French league standings. if able to stay in the top 3 until the end of the competition is an extraordinary achievement that will bring Brest to play in the champions league competition. actually qualifying for the Europa League alone is an extraordinary achievement for Brest. last season Brest only ended up at the bottom of the French league in 14th position. so even though playing at home nice opponent is quite heavy to win this match.
The draw against PSG is proof that Brest can now be highly regarded to enter the European League, even though it is still early days, I think if Brest is able to maintain its consistency then we will see them in the Champions League next season, currently the competition in Ligue 1 is just to fight for places in second, three and fourth positions, while the first position will of course never be replaced by other team apart from PSG, several teams still have a big chance of overtaking each other in big 4 standing of Ligue 1, but unfortunately these teams are small teams so even if they do next season Qualifying for the Champions League will of course not be able to provide much resistance to other clubs that come from outside Ligue 1, talking about Brest, if they can qualify for the Champions League of course that would be an extraordinary achievement even though maybe in the future they will just be just a complementary team and barn for goals for other teams later in the Champions League Jump to:
