For the ones who saw how bad Lyon performed in the first part of Ligue 1, I mean in 2023 then he would definitely back Brest which is sitting in the second spot.
If we analyse deeper the situation then we will see that Lyon made the best progress among all teams in Ligue 1, top 4 teams included. They won most of their matches and continue to climb in the ranking. Best they could do is to get to Europa League next season or at least Conference League..

PSG still has a chance to win against Barcelona in the second leg. Barcelona is likely to be superior because they are playing at home and also lead the temporary aggregate, but Barcelona is also not very reliable because they are a team that is experiencing difficulties from outside and inside. Barcelona's performance has been good, but they will definitely be under pressure to maintain their lead.

Personally, I hope that Xavi will be able to take Barcelona to the semi-finals to the final of this season's Champions League. Barcelona has the potential to play Atletico Madrid in the semi-finals, but of course only if Atletico Madrid wins against Dortmund at Signal Iduna Park.

This loss for Brest could easily have been avoided. The last goal was completely unnecessary. I mean the last moment when they actually ended up conceding a penalty. In the first half, Brest played really well. They were actually playing well until Lyon started scoring goals. From the moment when Lyon scored their first goal, it looked like the defense of Brest was starting to crumble. They were starting to make more and more mistakes in the defense. And finally, they ended up losing the match because of that.

This has made Brest buying in fear of dropping down to the third position. And they also had a red card for Tagliafico which is a very important player for them. They are going to have trouble in my opinion.

Kylian Mbappe already gave announced that he's going to leave Paris Saint Germaine at the end of the season but the debate that his departure will significantly affect the performance of the French champions come next season I know will be very difficult for the team but that doesn't mean that Paris Saint Germaine will fail to dominate the French league when the France international leaves the club if you ask me. The current squad of Paris Saint Germaine without Kylian Mbappe will still remain the most fearsome in the whole of France but definitely not in Europe but with the presence of Kylian Mbappe, the Paris Saint Germaine team will pose a great threat when facing any European club. Kylian Mbappe is without doubt one of the top three best players in the world at the moment and that's why no body can write off his impact in the Paris Saint Germaine team which is why many people believes the team will likely underperform when he leaves the club.

PSG will remain the dominant power in French football for as long as the sheikhs are willing to invest enough money into the squad. Mbappe is one exceptional player that may not be replaceable 1:1, but that doesn't mean PSG can't put a squad together that is far superior to any other team in Ligue 1. But they will still be running with their head into walls trying to win the Champions League. It is a totally different story.

I was hoping that maybe some other club gets investor because that would be the only way to make Ligue 1 interesting again similar to some other leagues where balance has been lost long ago. That's why a win like that of Bayer Leverkusen in the Bundesliga is so special. But how interesting is a league where one team more or less wins everything for a decade or so?

PSG is the most important French club, but it would be better off if there are some other clubs trying to close that gap somehow. But it is unlikely that this will happen. I don't know whether there are any rules for foreign investors in the French league, but the amount of money that the PSG owners are pouring into the club will probably remain unmatched for a long time. Ligue 1 is not as interesting of a commercial product as the Premier League, for instance. And as the Spanish league bosses said, if Mbappe goes to Real Madrid it will draw a lot more attention to the league again while Ligue will lose quite a bit of audience.

I don’t think so and Mbappe leaving PSG will not make them not to be the best in the French league. They’ve dominated the league for long now and I don’t think they will be replaced easily by any club in the French league even though Mbappe leaves. Mbappe is indeed their biggest strength in that club but his departure won’t cause them any trouble. They will feel it, but will adjust after some time and fit into it again and continue to remain the best club in the league. No other club can sign quality players like they do in the Ligue 1 and that had made them standout amongst all other clubs in the league now.

The Monaco vs Bres match will of course be a bigmatch match, because after all the current team both really needs points to be able to secure their position in the standings, Brest and Monaco have a difference of 1 point and of course the match will be very exciting because their position is also not safe to get an automatic ticket to qualify for the Champions League next season,  In head to head of course Monaco is superior to Brest so far but it seems that we cannot make that a reference because after all Brest are required to no longer drop points in their remaining games, the position of both is now starting to be threatened after Lille also started to be quite consistent in the league and I think Monaco and Brest certainly need to be wary at this time.

Two automatic tickets and one Champions League qualification ticket are still up for grabs at the moment, but I think Lille will certainly not be satisfied to be in the qualification zone because it will only make them have to work hard enough to qualify for the Champions League, so I think Lille will try hard to be able to get an automatic ticket to qualify for the Champions League next season,  I think in the match both teams will try to play care so that the possibility of the game ending in a draw.

Matches like this sometimes ends in a draw but if we are to judge with the previous head to head of both teams we will give the wining to Monaco, out of the previous 5 matches between this 2 teams monaco won 4 and the hosting team won 1, so with this analysis we can conclude that Monaco will win but looking at the inconsistency of monaco this season I will say that this match is going to be a tough match, both teams will be needing the point considering the fact that if any lapses occurs among any of them, the side that utilises there chances will take the point.
Monaco has not been doing bad in their last 6matches, they won four and draw 2 which is a good result for any team considering how difficult the league is, their opponent opponent won 3, lost 2 and draw 1 which is not a consistent result so if any ome is to win this match, i will say that it is Monaco.

I do not think that Mbappe alone is enough to win UCL, it feels like we are going to see a lot of changes with the club next season and they had Mbappe for so many years now, it's been many years with him and no UCL title, so that is proof that he is not good enough to win the UCL himself, he needs a good team around him.

PSG isn't a bad team, they just never had a good system, for example if Pep accepted the offer and went to PSG back in the day instead of City, right now PSG would have been an UCL winner without a doubt, they would have built a good system around Mbappe. However, without any good manager like that or any manager that stays too long, we end up with a team that usually doesn't do well on win or go home games.

Recruiting and developing the players who have been recruited is indeed an important thing apart from money, because there are many teams whose finances are not very large but can develop well in the League. And for PSG, it is actually the team that needs greater pressure on the players so that when they play outside League 1 they can still be more competitive. Because financially, PSG is a team that has a lot of money and can buy more star players who are able to help the team become better, but sometimes this is still not enough if the players who have been bought are not trained well enough while at PSG.

This weekend there is a match between Brest vs Monaco and i can called this big match because the position of both teams in league table is not so different because Brest in the second place and Monaco in the third place with only 1 difference points and i am sure Monaco won't missed the chances to beat Brest because if they can able to do that Monaco can taking over second place from Brest and actually Brest performance is not really good recently because last week they dramatially lost from Lyon but for Monaco their recent performance were quite good because Monaco still unbeated in the last 6 matches in Ligue 1

Monaco gradually has been able to find their shape again because from 10 matches they only lost once and from head to head statistics too we can see Monaco has good records from Brest because they can win 4 times from 5 latest meetings besides that just like i said previously Monaco match statistics a bit different because they quite strong to play at their opponents home ground because during this season Monaco only lost twice from away matches so my prediction for this match is Monaco can being an the winner of this match and i haven't checked the odds yet but i assume  the bookmakers will provide high odds for Monaco win

Yes, even though PSG really had high hopes in their first meeting to be able to beat Barcelona by creating a higher aggregate, but unfortunately PSG couldn't do that, instead they had to accept defeat from Barcelona which was very painful for PSG and it looks like PSG can only hope for luck to get through to the round. Furthermore, because the meeting between the two was held in Spain where the hosts will play happily without thinking that Barcelona can be eliminated by PSG, Barcelona is definitely superior to PSG.

Mbappe is a PSG player who is really relied on. If Mbappe leaves, I think PSG will have even more difficulty competing in the UCL because PSG doesn't have the stock of players who stand out the most and create opportunities in PSG's great success, only Mbappe is the goal scoring machine for PSG so losing Mbappe is like losing half of his soul mate Osimhen may not be as good as Mbappe but he is also a good striker in Italy.

It's too hard to compete against a club which have unlimited resource, I don't think it's impossible at all. Since PSG have big amount of money being spent, They failed to win Ligue 1 twice lost to Monaco and Lille. Money is not the sole reason, good management and recruitment are also big factors. When Monaco won the league over PSG, their team was considered a golden generation because the talents in the team. This proves recruitment and development are also big factor beside financial resource.

The other teams in Ligue 1 need to reconstruct their management of their clubs to create a conducive environment for the development of their players. This way can be a good place to apply a good recruitment system, because young talent will search a club that have a good environment for their development. Money is still a big factor, but without a good management, there would be no maintenance of progression.    

It seems that PSG chances of beating Barcelona in the second leg will be very low, unless Xavi squad plays badly throughout the match. Of course, this will not happen, because Barcelona will utilize all their potential to maintain their lead, and it is possible that they will win again. PSG failed to utilize the squad they had, what hurts was that they lost at home. It's no wonder we think their chances in the second leg are lower, even though PSG has Luis Enrique who understands Barcelona strengths very well.

PSG must play as a team, not always rely on Mbappe in every match. Players like Mbappe will of course be closely guarded by Barcelona players and this will limit their space for movement, here other players must be able to replace Mbappe role in making the difference. The competitive level of Ligue 1 is easy for PSG, but it is the main problem that makes them weak in European competition, with the depth of their star studded squad they should be able to show a different performance in the Champions League.

Yeah this doesn't secure a Champions League title for them. There is a huge difference between the Ligue 1 and Champions League. Even though PSG have good players in the squad they have much more challenging opponents in the Champions League. They still couldn't learn how to find their way to the trophy for years.

The board tried quite many managers in the meantime for Champions League success. However the biggest achievement they have had is to reach the finale. They might not even see the semi finals this year if they don't turn things around in the rematch.    This would just push Mbappe more to leave the team this summer.

Betting on league 1 clubs other than PSG in my opinion is too risky, they are difficult to predict, even though they are in the middle of the table or in the top 3. They are also not completely consistent in winning and can said to be less stable. So it is better to bet on other leagues than are not as stable as the league 1, this league is not as exciting as more competitive leagues such as the Champions League. European League, English League, La Liga, Italian league, these leagues bring in clubs that are not only dominated by one club, so we can still gain profits from betting, not just betting on clubs that are at the top level, although this does not guarantee that it will match predictions. but in my opinion they are more interesting than league 1 which is less competitive.

It is impossible for League 1 clubs to overtake PSG if they do not have the same finances as PSG and cannot buy better players to support their success in League 1. Unless there are investors rich who are willing to choose one of the League 1 clubs to overhaul big changes will mean their performance will improve and they will be able to compete with PSG, but if there haven't been any changes, I don't think any club will be able to break PSG's dominance in League 1.

Their 3-2 defeat against Barcelona was also a great disappointment. Mbappe is the most valuable player of this team. After he leaves the team, Paris Saint Germain may have problems in the offensive line for a long time. The name Osimhen was being talked about instead, but I don't think he could be as successful as Mbappe. If PSG advances to the second leg in Spain this year, maybe they will play with more hope in the semi-finals.

PSG has been too easy to dominate Ligue 1 and make PSG soft so that when they compete with other stronger teams in Europe of course make it difficult for them to win, currently PSG is focusing on the Champions League as their main target in winning trophies but unfortunately they continue to fail to get it so far,  The large number of star players in the PSG squad does not guarantee them the Champions League trophy for the first time in the club's history and failure after failure continues to cost them a lot of money to continue to improve their squad, and I think no matter how good the PSG squad is, of course without competitive competition in Ligue 1 it will still make them mentally weak.

Currently PSG face a life and death match against Barcelona in the second leg later, even if now PSG is really ready but I doubt if they can beat Barcelona in the second leg later, Mbappe continues to be PSG's mainstay so far so when Mbappe performs badly of course PSG will also end the match badly during this time,  What you say is true, because whether or not a league is competitive at this time will make a team's mentality affected and just like PSG who play in a league is not competitive, of course it will make their mentality continue to be weak.
