It's been a norm for PSG not to really feel pressured from the Ligue 1 as it always appears that they have got a hack with which they always use to stay ahead in the Ligue 1 and be able to always maintain their dominance, this has been one of their strongest method of making sure the Ligue 1 exerts no pressure on them so they will have a better mind set to face the champions league which has been priority to them .

One thing PSG enjoys the most has to be their financial strength as it has really been a huge strength for them such that they have the purchasing power to get almost any player they want to be in their team provided such player is up for sale, that has been one of their biggest advantage over all other Ligue 1 teams and they have aswell been able to strengthen their team so much that they have an unparalleled matching strength with most of those other teams in the Ligue 1 so most definitely they have they ability and capacity to win these teams and reducing the chances of them been pressured into have challenges with the Ligue 1 games.

But then one of the strong hood of PSG has been in one of their key player mbappe, and by next season he will be leaving i think that too may have an effect on the team and they may likely not be able to enjoy the dominance they had enjoyed all along because it may be challenged by others knowing they don't have that strength again but then if the rumors of them sorting after osimhen is true then they may just be having a good replacement.

PSG are very good in their league and in their, you can be rest assured of them getting at least a draw and another sure thing to happen is them being able to win the league probably before the seaon even comes close to and end. The team isn’t able to do same thing in the UCL and it’s now becoming quite worrisome.

 The team has had quite some stars and you can say that they’ll win the UCL but surprisingly they get eliminated in either the Quarterfinals or the Round of 16 and you begin to wonder why it goes on so for the team. This is one of the major reason why Kylian is about leaving the club to get and win European trophies elsewhere.

 His move to Real Madrid will sure be a nice and smart one as him being in that club will sure increase the club’s chances of winning the ucl and he’ll also be on the limelight because he’s quite young and has the ability to perform exceptionally. Real Madrid are also the giants of Europe and Being in a team like that gives you as a player more chance of winning an European trophy.

 ⁠The return leg of the ucl is back and you can now wonder what chances psg have going forward as they’ll need to be able to defeat Barca at the Camp nou and you can now wonder how possible that could be. For the club to get European success, they’ll need to get massive recruitment and they should be quality players who are quite equal to the task, this will help the club’s performance in Europe amongst her counterparts.

The owners of Paris Saint Germaine over the years have spent hugely to make sure they extend their dominance in France to the whole of Europe but unfortunately for them, things have not worked the way they wanted it to work out and that has drawn so much criticism from people who thinks that money can not but them success. The club have signed some of the world best players but including Lionel Messi, Neymar Jr and Kylian Mbappe but are yet to lift the UEFA Champions League in their history. In my own assessment of the whole issue, I think the main problem why they've failed to achieve that aim is because they've not been able to get a manager who truly understands the team and the best tactical approach that'll bring out the best from them.
Manchester City before 2008 was one of the average teams in England but after their current owner invested hugely in the club, they started to win domestic titles but weren't able to reach the semi finals of the UCL until they signed Pep Guardiola who transformed the club's success history and even led them to their first UCL trophy. I think Paris Saint Germaine should try and get a manager that'll speak the best understandable football language to the club players and see the amount of success they'll record.

PSG once built the best lineup to win the Champions League trophy, but they failed to realize this dream, financial strength cannot buy an instant mentality. PSG needs to build a foundation with a winning mentality, which is one of the main indicators for competing in the Champions League. It's no use having a star-studded squad if their egos can't be united to achieve one goal.

We can see that the Bundesliga is also not that competitive, they are slightly better than Ligue 1, but Bayern has won the Champions League trophy. Maybe that's a very relevant example that we can still convey, PSG needs to build a squad like Bayern method. Financial strength makes things easier, but sometimes this backfires.

The news of Mbappe leaving is still widely rumored, PSG management does not need to force him to stay longer, because the player is no longer interested in defending PSG. Why keep wooing him to stay, it's better for PSG to focus on finding new players next season, who knows, Mbappe departure will make it easier for PSG to win the Champions League trophy.

PSG might have quality and expensive players but they can only beat teams in Ligue 1 and not in European competitions like the UCL, they will definitely fail along the way, that's why I once said that if Mbappe wants money, he doesn't need to stay there. PSG but in the Arab league, he can earn a lot of money, after all why is he keeping himself at PSG which doesn't provide any progress in the UCL, just look at him always failing to bring PSG into the UCL final and only always getting the title in Ligue 1 no more than That.

I think Mbappe is still young and he still has enough time to spread his wings in a team that has the potential to enter the UCL final or win it, for example Madrid because of course Madrid will have a striker who is quite productive like Mbappe, I am sure that next season Madrid will be the team which is strong if Mbappe succeeds in moving to Madrid, I am also not sure that PSG will succeed in beating Barcelona at their home ground, of course it will obviously be difficult because Barcelona is quite strong playing at their home ground. PSG next season must improve with players who are more qualified and have a lot of experience in the UCL.  

PSG's annual dominance makes it hard to invest. The Bundesliga was reinvigorated after Leverkusen broke Bayern's streak. You wonder if something big could change France's power balance and make it competitive. The sport has lost its appeal due of predictability

Remember that PSG's domestic dominance doesn't guarantee Champions League success. They fail on the biggest stage. Imagine the consequences if Mbappe leaves - that alone might start a new Ligue 1 era. Though unlikely, football can undergo huge changes quickly. Seen it before. A truly competitive Ligue 1 depends on that glimmer of hope

Well, even the strongest team in Ligue 1 is still very difficult to predict even if they face a team that is much weaker than them. Just like when they faced Clermont in the last match, how could the team at the top of the standings meet the team at the bottom of the standings only to achieve a draw, that was something very surprising. Maybe I can understand because their main priority now is the Champions League, but still they should be able to win even if they only field second-tier players.
Ligue 1 is not interesting to watch because it is almost certain who will become champion here, and they can do that without any significant pressure from other teams. What makes this league so interesting is that they can't provide great consistency, so they easily lose a lot of pounds. This doesn't mean to underestimate Ligue 1, but of course we can judge how the competition here goes every season.

That right, because the difference is still 10 points and PSG still has 1 match pending, this is clear conclusion that PSG will still be at the top and finish this season competition as Ligue 1 champions.
There are only few more matches left and we will see the completion of the competition which will again make PSG the defending champion and of course this is proof that in French football PSG is the strongest team that always dominates.
But I think PSG can feel that pressure next season and of course next season we can see that the competition in Ligue 1 will be even more interesting and really competitive.

For now, they are still preparing their performance to be able to finish the UCL second leg match which they previously lost to Barcelona.
Next match is an away match for PSG and it looks like they will lose, being eliminated from the UCL in this quarter-final.

Both collecting one red card made the match between Lyon and Brest so hot and the score ended with so many goals. I think you're absolutely right with your opinion about Paris Saint Germaine's poor outing in the UEFA Champions League being caused by their dominance in the French league. The French league without doubt is the less most competitive among the top five leagues in Europe and for a team that's always dominating it, Paris Saint Germaine are always more relaxed when they play crucial games in the UEFA Champions League because to them, they think it'll be as easy as it used to be in their domestic league.
I think the presence of Kylian Mbappe in the team should've given them all the needed support they need to win the UEFA Champions League title this season but if they fail to at least reach the final with the France international, qualifying for the final when he's left the club I think will be very difficult for them.

PSG dominance in Ligue 1 turned out to be their weakness when playing in the Champions League, this is PSG disease for which there is currently no antidote. PSG management has spent a lot of money to build a star studded squad, their main goal is to increase their strength when competing for the Champions League trophy, but so far this trophy has not been achieved. The competition in Ligue 1 is quite easy for them to overcome, PSG dominance makes Ligue 1 less competitive.

Mbappe departure next season will not mean that PSG dominance in Ligue 1 can be simply broken by other contestants, they will still make Ligue 1 like the Farmers League. Actually it's normal that towards end of the season most teams gradually becomes very though and try to make sure they make up for the mistakes they made during the season which made them unable to get to a very good point on the table a d that usually cause competitiveness such that performance of certain teams become unpredictable and for tem's at the top already they may have fatigue plyers which may affect their results too.

I wouldn't actually say I'm too surprised at the performance of Metz because even lens hasn't been really consistent this season with their performance as they have most of the times not been in their best of form so for me i would say i expected that anything can actually happened because both teams weren't even to be seen as been better than each other but as such that are to be considered average teams . But then i think lens actually did had more potential then Metz because they have been trying to be good even in their poor form at times so they are considerably doing fairly enough.

Metz is actually an average team while lens could be considered a little above average as they have been doing much better than Metz this season and they have a relatively good strength then Metz does, they also have a fair depth and in their performance it showed that they had some form of a good attack as compared to that of their opponent so it was actually expected they win the games but then football happened.

I feel these nowadays some teams are really unpredictable and unstable because we saw even Lens losing the game against Metz and it was not predictable. In fact, Lens is not a weak team and they are currently in the 6th place in the table while they are even racing for the European League ticket and that's something they can reach easily if they don't lose the chance as they lost against Metz.
Recently Lens couldn't have a good performance and now after this loss maybe it's the time to say even the next game for them against Clermont Foot won't be easy for them.

Lens lost to Metz who’re in the relegation side, yes this result wasn’t expected though I still knew Metz will be a mjaor threat. This is because the pressure which relegation teams use in playing is usually top notch and they are always known to be spoilers of the hopes of some clubs who want to at least win something.

 The result was a big blow to Lens as this will now mean they might not be able to catch up in the UCL spot they were chasing. This is now more like a bad reward for their under performance this season. Now I think the board will know how much it’s imperative for them to invest on the team so as to be able to challenge better next season.

 ⁠Lens in that match were looking like the better side as they were at first leading by a goal but they lost it totally and Metz were able to get the win in that match who showed great determination despite being seen as a team in the relegation zone. I think most teams should cue from this win of Metz and know how much determination helps when they take on key matches.

 Lens now having lost UCL spot must try to be able to secure Europa League spot. Their remaining matches are quite tough and with the loss to Lens you can only imagine if they’ll be able to challenge for the UEL spot again.

I think for now there is no other team that can prevent PSG from winning, because indeed they have left other teams with a large enough difference in points, with 6 games left and also a large point difference, of course it is difficult for rival teams to shift PSG's current position, besides that if we seeing PSG's remaining opponents at this time, of course it is unlikely that PSG will lose points.

Every game matters in this season. In particular while fighting a desperate opponent. No complacency, no easy contest

Having Mbappe in the team makes PSG have a scary attacking force, but without him, I think PSG will still be too strong for Ligue 1 because they can still afford to bring great talents. They will only struggle in Champions League where big teams competing in competitive league chould make PSG being just underdog.

Having enrique is also a big luck for them, because he knows how to utilize good talents and build a strong team. With Enrique in the club, PSG will still be a dominant force in Ligue 1 even if Mbappe choose to leave. As long as the resource is still there to back up the team to progress, it would be hard for any team to break the dominance of PSG. It just sounds unfair to have a team with too big resource competing in Ligue 1.

Many would agree regarding the competition in Ligue 1, where PSG is too dominant for other contestants, and so far Enrique fleet has only lost once. It makes sense why many people feel bored watching Ligue 1, this gap is created because PSG has abundant financial strength to build a star studded squad.

The current difference in points shows how easy it is for PSG to win the Ligue 1 trophy every season, there are still 6 matches left and it is very likely that PSG will lock up the trophy sooner. Apart from that, the opportunity for PSG to wipe out all the remaining matches is quite open, even though recently Enrique fleet has often played draws.

On the other hand, one instant way to make Ligue 1 more competitive is the entry of rich investors such as PIF. Previously there were rumors that they planned to acquire a majority stake in Marseille. However, until now there is no certainty about this news, if it is realized then PSG will have a balanced competitor at the domestic level.

But we will never know in the next season as Leverkusen finally managed to break Munich's dominance in the Bundesliga, that's why perhaps currently there is no team that is equivalent and can compete with PSG because they are the strongest team and also a rich club, they can buy great and quality players, but see that Leverkusen can break the dominance of Munich which is full of great players too, so I think maybe now we see it boring because PSG will be guaranteed to be champions in the end in Ligue 1.

But PSG has never succeeded in the UCL, that's the fact that the class of great players at PSG can only compete in the domestic league, even though there are no competitors who are truly on par with PSG, making everything boring, what you say is true, PSG is a strong team in the league. 1 so that no other team is able to overtake them at the top of the current standings and it is also certain that PSG will win the title in Ligue 1 again, hoping that next season there will be changes in Ligue 1 and there will be a team that can really compete with PSG, If Mbappe succeeds in moving to leave PSG, of course there will be an opportunity for other teams to compete with PSG.
