I didn't have a doubt that PSG would be able to defeat Strasbourg. Heck, the visitors are no match for them and despite being 7th on the log, they have not had an impressive start to the season, having just one win in their last five games and it would have been surprising had Luis Enrique's men lost or being unable to pour goals but where I've got issues with PSG is that once it comes to playing in other competitions outside of their domestic league you'd find them struggling and it then looks like they're local champions that are incapable of doing or being a threat.

Unfortunately I lost my bet on the Monaco vs Lille match because in that match I favored Monaco to win with odds @1.94 but unfortunately Monaco was only able to get a draw at home. One of Monaco's players received a red card in the second half. That's still too soon to say PSG is in the first place after a long time and we should start blaming PSG because of being not in the first place just after 8 games in the French League. Although this result is quite disappointing but I think Monaco is lucky to get 1 point even though playing with 10 players. After Jordan Teze got a red card Lille tried to score and played aggressively but fortunately Monaco has a solid defense and Lille could only get 1 shot on target. PSG's next match will be against Strasbourg. It will be an easy win for PSG and they will overtake Monaco from the first place. If PSG win both teams will collect 20 points but PSG will be ahead on goal difference.

I want to rather take a different perspective in this case as i see that PSG conceding two goals from Monaco is an indication that they have got some inconsistencies around their defense which wouldn't be a really good one for them in the champions league beyond their domestic league. Monaco for me had a commendable performance because little was expected of them but interestingly they were able to even beat our expectations by getting two goals out of the six the match produced.

Lens just secured an away win against St-Étienne to take their total points in the league this season to 14 points. It seems it's going to be another impressive season for Lens after they failed to finish in the top four of the league table last season and for their 32-year old manager Will Still, I think he's found the right playing style for the players. Lens I don't think will be a strong contender for the league title but if they can continue with their impressive run, I think they might replicate their feat in the 2022/23 season when they finished as runners-up.
The total performance of lens so far has been a really impressive one that literally can get them a chance on the title race and they are already at the fifth position with 14 point, wining only one games and drew the remaining which i see as them displaying some defensive strength in the league this season so if any team is coming against them, a point to note would be their attack and probably midfield not been strong enough but they have got t good defense so a distraction on their defense and a counter will earn any opponent more goals and victory against them more than they would normally.

PSG won but I was impressed with the way Strasbourg played, they didn't allow the fact that PSG are a bigger and better club to stop them from playing. They followed PSG possession for possession and had as many attempts to try to score as PSG did. The game ended 4 -2 but Strasbourg won my heart in the game. Strasbourg now has 2 loss this season and 2 wins too. They have drawn 4 games and sitting at 7th. PSG are top of the table with 7 goals different and I don't think they'll be leaving that position after the next match day games that'll be played. PSG are on track to win this season title, only Monaco is chasing them but I don't think they can do anytime to stop PSG.
