PSG seems not terrible at league these days, trying to keep the lead obviously and battling with Monaco, and even Marseille is looking very close, so PSG is barely doing fine at the league, but if they are barely fine at the league that is a bad look.
Not only that, but they also look terrible at UCL this season so far as well, not entirely sure if extending the contract for Luis Enrique made any differences, I felt like that was good because they needed him to do better and they didn't want him to have that contract in his mind when coaching, but looking at the result right now, I can say this didn't went as according to their plan, they are looking not that great and could have some different results. I believe they need to do much much better, what they are showing right now is terrible and Louis Enrique shouldn't feel comfortable with that new contract, because he could very well be fired if they keep playing these type of games as well.

Last season we saw PSG have the same confidence and consistent performances that we saw this season but we don't see the same confidence and consistent performances from them. A player has moved from their team to another team and here is a huge gap. Before the start of each season PSG do not worry much about their local league tournament but there are doubts whether PSG can win this league. PSG themselves realize that their team has obvious weaknesses in some positions and if they don't overcome these weaknesses they will never win the local league. Maybe they would have been better off if PSG had recruited some players after Mbappe left.Yes but what can be said is that PSG once again couldn't win in the Champions League against an opponent that under normal conditions they should be able to beat. It's close to obligatory to win that game since they played at home. So far so good for them now and I think it’ll make them to be well situated in some positions they feel they can’t attain as a team. This is how things work, we are talking about star filled teams that gets a good result. Back in the day you were right, teams were built in a way where everyone on the team played very well together in chemistry and harmony.But these days, every team tries to get a star, and that is why it's important to have some stars on your team. Too much, or bad chemistry could ruin it, look at Real Madrid for example, they added Mbappe and if you ask me they look worse than last year, I am sure he will get used to it eventually, but not so far. One thing i like about Marseille is the most goals they score in their matches and they are they second team that has scored the most goals in the league after PSG. I think the match between Marseille and PSG will be a very tough game because Marseille are just 3 points below PSG because PSG has 20 points while Marseille has 17 points so the match will be more important for Marseille knowing very well that they will equal same points with PSG if they win and considering the fact that they are playing at home will also give them more confidence of home advantage. For the fact that PSG struggled to a draw with PSV in their Champions league match on Tuesday will even cause fatigue among some of the players so i don't think PSG can win Marseille.

They might be thriving in the Ligue 1 but when it comes to tougher competition like the Champions League I don't think they're there yet, yes they got a good squad with a handful of word class materials but they're not putting enough effort outside their domestic league and that's why they don't go far in the Champions League, I think you're right in all you said @Majestic-milf, PSG are only dangerous in France but outside the French soil they tend to be very weak that's why you'll see teams like Newcastle that gave them tough challenge last season then Sporting and PSV this season, it's understandable when they give points against a big club like Juventus but drawing with Sporting and PSV is not enough if they want to be the Champions of Europe, I feel PSG are really satisfied on being the Champions of Ligue 1 and not nothing else.
Luis Enrique knows that he might lose his job if PSG fails to make an impact in the UCL. Nasser Al-Khelaïfi is an ambitious man who desperately wants PSG to win the European competition. The game with PSV was painful because the host dominated the match. Call it superstition, PSG might be under a spell because they have done almost everything possible to win the UCL and failed. They are also facing a strong opposition in the Ligue One this season with both Monaco and Marseille closing the gap on them. If there is any team in the Ligue1 that might surprise PSG this season in the league then that team would be olympique de Marseille, I think they are in a very strong position to challenge for the title. They are tactical, they play with a very good pace which helps them on the counter attack and above all they have the ability to win anywhere which is one of the reasons I believe they can challenge for the title. They have a squad that is capable of winning big things with players like Pierre Emerick Aubameyang in attack and Mason Greenwood who have been fantastic this season for Marseille and am looking forward to seeing them in the champions league next season.

Maybe this will be enough for them to win Ligue 1, because very few teams are able to spend more or less evenly the whole season without slumps, so far Monaco is trying to do this, but they have a young team and I am not sure that they have enough experience and strength to move together with PSG until the very end.
