We haven't seen who the opponents they will face in the quarter-finals are, but what is clear is that the opponents they will face are much stronger than the opponents they faced in the round of 16. With facts like that, it is very clear that they have to prepare themselves as best as possible before playing their match in the Champions League quarter-finals. Of course, it is quite a tough task for Monaco to maintain its consistency in order to remain in 3rd place because in the remaining 9 matches this season, Monaco still faces tough clubs, namely rivals above Brest and Lille. Apart from that, maybe Monaco still has a chance to win the match even though Monaco's performance is not yet stable enough. Lille and Lens have the same points, they also want to fight for that position, therefore every match played by Monaco in the remaining matches this season is a bit tough and their position is still a little under pressure and it is not completely safe to be in the champions league zone except for two clubs like Lille and Lens they experience defeat, then Monaco can sit comfortably in that ranking.

If you look at it in terms of consistency, the three clubs are not completely consistent, sometimes they still experience defeat. I also don't know for sure which of the three clubs will occupy third place because they still have the same opportunity. Only the club that is able to maintain its consistency can occupy the zone. However, Brest in second place is also not completely safe because if Brest loses, Monaco can take second place because the difference in points with second place is only 1 point, therefore Monaco and Brest are also not completely safe in the Champions League zone.

That would be the last reason coming to my mind when Enrique decides to let Mbappe sit on the bench. I have never heard before that a coach forgoes the possibility to use the best player in the world because he wants to prepare the team for times when that player will not be around anymore, lol! It sounds like a bad joke. He is not using Mbappe that much because he wants to avoid at all cost that Mbappe gets injured and misses a single minute of the upcoming Champions League games. Mbappe is pissed about it I guess, but Enrique doesn't show any mercy because he wants him in the best physical condition possible and I can understand it.

To be honest, there is a significant gap between Clermont and Havre and this is too big for clermont to achieve it. I'd like to place a full bet on Havre in this case because it has a high chance of winning the game since havre is in higher standing compared to the clermont. Speaking of odds, Havre's odds are very good for betting causes by it's offering biger odds and it's also even stronger compared to the clermont. The fact that if clermont rare won this season, it is obvious that betting on havre makes more sense than clermont, even if the game is away for havre and this is also the point. Clermont is not only bad, but it is also the worst club. It is only getting worse, and this club has been confirmed to be relegated. It was impossible to catch up to its opponent, who was already out of the relegation zone. Clermont was only having 17 points, which is still less than 20 points for the season. In the 26th match week, As Monaco will host a match against Lorient. If we refer to the standings, the two teams have quite a significant gap. Moreover, Lorient had just lost the previous week when they played against Lyon. Meanwhile, Manaco managed to beat the away match against Strasbourg even though it was a narrow score. Now, Monaco is one point different from Berst. if Manaco is able to win the match at home, and Brest ends up drawing against Lille or losing. That means, Manaco will shift the ranking occupied by Brest which is in 2nd place.

Well, this fight will continue. if Manano produces a minor match or loses against Lorient, then Lillie will have the same points as AS Monaco. but if it's the other way around, that means Monaco's chance is big enough to shift the runner-up position in Ligue 1. Enrique bet on not using Mbappe from the start. It seems he wants to get used to being without Mbappe present. Considering that the first 3 teams will be given UCL rights, it is obvious that there will be a race for second and third place among the teams other than PSG. PSG still remains very dominant of the league and is leading the league with over 10 points with about 12 matches to go to end the league. This is one reason why this league is considered a farmers league because the competition to throw off psg as league champions isn’t there.

 This season we are throwing our light there as we’re having one interesting competition of who will be going to the UCL next season happening there. We can see how the teAms between 2nd to 5th are having similar points. This is the kind of competition we wish would be happening between league leaders PSG And other clubs to end it’s dominance but it’s quite impressive as it’s a step in the right direction. One thing the clubs must do is after this kind of challenge, they should brace themselves up for next season as they can be able to deal with PSG and challenge for the title.

 For the battle for the UCL spot it’s quite a fierce one and I have my predictions on who will join. I also have to say that the teams after getting the ticket, they should endeavor on building a great squad that will be able to challenge in that competition. The teams that are good to go through are Brest and either Monaco or Lille. Either Monaco or Lille or both of them will be great participants of the UCL next season and they have the experience too and I hope them being in the Ucl Will be a boost for them to build a great squad next season. As building a great squad will also help them to challenge Psg for the league title next season.

Before  Le Havre won the match they were very close to the relegation zone, so wining the match was able to push them more higher away from the relegation zone, so they were actually lucky to have won the match because Toulouse has been doing well more than them and even on the league table but it just happen that Toulouse was unable to beat them on that match, perhaps I don't know if they were underestimating  Le Havre because of there position on the league table, however  Le Havre points now is very close to Toulouse, although  Le Havre need to enhance there performance the more because if they failed they may likely drop down to there previous position on the table, so they need to improve on there wining because they still have a very close points with Montpelier, Strasbourg, Lorient and Nantes, so wining is there only way to secure a good position for themselves.

Failing to get 3 points in the match against Reims does not change PSG current position because in other matches Brest which is the closest team to PSG also failed to win points, I think there is nothing wrong with backing up Mbappe at this time because it is a team need, at this time we all know if Mbappe no longer has the loyalty to play 100% with PSG because of all the speculation that is happening at the moment,  In addition, if you look at PSG's last two games, then you can see that the role and even the impact that Mbappe has had on the team is so small that I think even if Mbappe plays from the start it will not have a big effect on PSG.

I think Clermont can make a surprise in this match. Le Havre is in a better situation, but Clermont will now want to stop the bad trend and maybe they will try hard to win if they have a home crowd advantage. As a surprise, this possibility may be for betting. Apart from that, playing with a handicap also sounds reasonable.

I prefer to bet on other match beside this one, the last time Le Havre won in away match/league was happening back in Nov 2023 and Clermont also never win again at home since Nov 2023.
If you want to bet on Le Harve, perhaps it will be wise using asian handicap. In that way, you will not lose anything if the match ends with a draw.

Unexpected drop of points from PSG against Reims. I thought they were going to win and would not have any problems doing that.
We all could see that Mbappe is not happy and also definitely going to leave after the season ends.

Actually, I think the coach still wants to play him, but he has some pressure from the upper authority to not play Mbappe.
and that is because he is leaving as the season ends.



Whole 70 minutes he was sitting on the bench.
They brought on Mbappe for Ramos in the final third but it was too late as PSG conceded two goals.
If they actually played him from the start I believe they could have easily walked away with 3 points from this match.

PSG will play Nice in the next match of the French Cup. I expect PSG to win that match. But today the defense was really bad from PSG. and I hope they will be able to improve that
