Lille still has a chance to qualify for the Champions League next season, so they will really fight for that until the end of the season. So far there are at least 6 teams still fighting to qualify for the Champions League and that includes Lille, Lens, Nice, Marseille, Brest and Monaco. These teams have a low points gap and they still have a chance to secure a position in the European zone including the Champions League.

PSG is safe to be considered to have qualified for the Champions League, in fact I no longer think PSG will face a real threat of losing their title this season after they managed to lead the standings with a gap of 10 points above Brest. PSG are title favourites, that has allowed them to get better focus on the Champions League this season.
The competition to win a place in the Champions League is more interesting in the Ligue 1, because PSG is too dominant in the race for trophies, a number of competing clubs will not be able to pressure PSG to lead the standings. It's a shame to see Nice, they are now experiencing setbacks after competing with PSG at the start of the season. Brest and Monaco must try to maintain their position in the top three, there are fewer matches remaining and we will see PSG win the trophy again this season.

PSG are formidable this season, they are enjoying football in their domestic league because there's no presence of improvement, rather we will continue to watch League Onr over and over again. This is one of the relevant reasons why Les Parisiens is suffering in elite competition, they don't stand the chance. PSG will continue to dominate the France Ligue One because there's no presence of top rivals for the league. The performance of opponents that's clinching on PSG to be on the same level, but these teams are not doing anything possible to achieve this targets.

Are they formidable? PSG is one of the most expensive teams in Europe, play in one of the weakest teams with no competition at all and so far did not win 9 of their games. To me this doesn't sound like a formidable season. When PSG wins the title, I can't see anything special about it. They had a solid performance in the Champions League round of 16, but other than that it was ok, but nothing special. On top of that they couldn't win three games in a row, which I think is awful for a team like PSG playing in that league... But since it doesn't matter whether they win or not, it still looks as if they were playing so well.

Monaco won away with a single goal. Strasbourg haven't won for 8 weeks and have fallen into the relegation zone. They now need to do something if they want to stay in the league. Yesterday, Strasbourg lost against Monaco and we can say that we are entering important weeks for Strasbourg. Monaco increased their points tally to 45 with this win and moved up to 3rd place after Lille's draw.
Lille failed to beat Rennes in a tough encounter. The away team Rennes started the match quickly. Rennes scored in the first minute and increased the difference to 2 in the 20th minute. Lille, who entered the last minutes in a stressful way, managed to get a draw by scoring 2 goals with Jonathan David in the last 8 minutes.

Strasbourg declined a lot and they are 3 points away from the relegation zone and one point from the relegation play-offs. Such position is unsustainable and they have to start winning again especially against Nantes this week. All their remaining games up to April are against top teams except maybe Toulouse which is a medium one, yet above them.
Monaco and Brest are competing for the second spot while PSG trying to confirm the title before a couple of rounds. There Marseille that are pushing their way up and Nice that lost control totally on their results!

Le Havre had been struggling to win for 6 weeks. Yesterday, Le Havre managed to end their 6-week winless streak with a one-goal victory against Toulouse. Le Havre certainly deserved the win as they played a better game compared to their opponents.
In the meeting of 2 teams in the relegation zone, the winner was Metz. Metz are in a race with their rivals and they want to make the most of their chance to stay in the relegation zone. With this win they managed to take 2 steps ahead of their opponent.

PSG have stood their ground in both good and bad moment, they're doing everything to maintain their balance level in the league. PSG drawed points with Reims and winning streaks is uncertain on mediocre club's ends. This is time to know about France Ligue One, it doesn't seem easy because the average clubs fights so hard to accumulate points which is also deniable on the end of other oppositions. Throwing more concern on La Havre, they've been going through alot, they have been having terrible performance and poor stats in league matches this season.

Things are going on just the way Marseille want. Maybe Lens won but Lille and Nice lost points in the meantime. The point gap with the team in the fourth position is only three points. While Marseille are on the rise with their new manager they had better maintain this good form as much as possible. They still have a good chance to join the Champions League as I said before.

I'm curious about what Brest will do in the remaining weeks. They have done a really good work so far. Maybe they lost against Lens the last time but they are still doing just fine at the second position. They are a surprising team to be seen there. As I like their competitive nature this season I hope they can join the Champions League too.  Smiley

Marseille is having their positive outbreaks. They just started another winning streaks of three games in a row, but last time they did it when they recovered from the bad start into the season, it was followed by another few weaker games. But Lens and Lille have shown some weaker games and now I think Marseille is looking at the UEFA competitions again. It was out of the question that they could reach it when they were still at the bottom of the table and nobody understood what was going on with them. But now they have got a good number of games left and I think everything is possible again.

They are still playing against Lille, Nice and Lens, which means they can make these teams drop more points and the Champions League qualification phase position on rank 4 is possible again.

PSG-Reims ended in a 2-2 draw. The match was exciting and all the goals came in the first half. Reims scored the first goal of the match, but PSG immediately increased the pressure and took a 2-1 lead. They scored the equalizer towards the end of the first half. There was not much action for the rest of the match. We can say that this point loss is not important for PSG for now because the point difference with their closest rival is 10.

PSG will easily win the Ligue 1 title. This is not a difficult task for PSG. And so coach Luis Enrique is now experimenting with the PSG squad. PSG became over-reliant on Mbappe. Luis Enrique has done his best to reduce this dependence. And the performance of PSG team is quite stable now. Even without Mbappe in the squad, PSG's players are capable of playing well.

Enrique has tried to strengthen the squad with young players. Young players can support the team for a long time. I would say Enrique succeeded. Overall performance of PSG is very good. If the PSG management can add a suitable replacement for Mbappe to the squad next season, then we will not see any deterioration in PSG's performance. PSG might even become stronger next season.
This could mean that Mbappe departure from PSG will not take the Ligue 1 trophy away from them, unless next season there is a surprise team that can break PSG dominance, as Leverkusen did against Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga. It is very reasonable why Ligue 1 is so easy for PSG, with the financial strength they have, PSG can build a squad containing star players. Meanwhile, Mbappe departure could change many things about their transfer policy, in which PSG management will prioritize potential young players to recruit.

Luis Enrique has a wealth of experience to make a team appear solid, not only in Ligue 1 but in the European Champions League too. Retaining the manager for the next few seasons can increase PSG chances of achieving success in the Champions League. If last summer Luis Enrique didn't have much time to prepare and recruit new players, next season transfer window is the best momentum to reorganize the team, because he is no longer bothered by the issue of Mbappe leaving again.

PSG drew again and Mbappe only came on in the second half. It seems Enrique is trying to get PSG used to not relying on Mbappe because he will leave soon. This is the third consecutive tie. There are still 9 games left, they should still be looking for 3 points in each game. Because Brest still has a chance to chase PSG's points.
In the last 3 matches, PSG did not manage to get full points, where a draw marked the final result in the last 3 matches. So, for now, PSG is still far ahead of the teams below their ranking because the point difference between the two is 10 points. It is true that it looks like Luis Enrique will provide a new sensation by rotating the line up in every match where he hopes his team can perform more optimally without Mbappe's presence on the field.

I'm not sure Brest will be able to catch up with PSG in points because this season PSG is not at all burdened by the pressure of other teams because they are already too far ahead in terms of points. Indeed, in yesterday match Mbappe was played as a substitute and this was of course a tactic from Luis Enrique to prepare the team for next season when Mbappe was no longer with them.
Well, this is just a panorama that can be given, things can happen in a very random way for many, it is notable that they are not putting him in by punishment, and in this Luis Enruiqe is usually a very tough person with a lot of Temperament, he It doesn't matter to him if he is a big star, he just needs to know the level of loyalty that a player can give to his team , this is about having respect for him, and I think that he only puts him in the game because it is convenient for him that the team doesn't look so bad, Specifically,  he uses it as a tool to win, this time he has everything to win and they were not able to do it, could Luis Enrique be starting to do a good Study to see what works and What does not work without having Mbappé on the field? This is something that only he would think of and he is not there anymore, with the advantage and he has it seems to me that he is very risky, personally I would not put Mbappé in to play unless I Need him to score a goal, even if it is 10 mins would Demand a goal.

Just in: PSG manager confirms Mbappe will leave the club at the end of the season

Quote
Luis Enrique was destined to be the first person to convey the message of Mbappe’s exit from PSG, as he was one who hinted at the same by making some changes to the starting eleven in recent weeks.

The Spaniard notably omitted Mbappe from the starting eleven in a few matches, though it was reported that his team changes are not necessarily linked with Mbappe’s potential move to Real Madrid at the end of the season.

Now, Enrique has wished Mbappe the best for his future, stating (h/t Fabrizio Romano), “I wish all the best to Kylian Mbappé for his future. He’s a fantastic player and even more as a person. I really wish him all the best.”

Source: https://madriduniversal.com/just-in-psg-manager-confirms-mbappe-will-leave-the-club-at-the-end-of-the-season/

The truth is that I wouldn't be interested in being in Mbappe's shoes, there must be a lot of rejection from everyone, in fact there have been some demonstrations in Paris in front of the Club, reproaching Mbappé for being a traitor, the truth is this Here it is quite strong, the same thing happened to Messi, now to Mbapé, sometimes things are very Hard when the fans are so legal with their Clubs, there would always be this type of repudiation of those who feel they betray.

Now Mbappé doesn't know where he'll go , but I think it's very embarrassing for Madrid, I don't know how this will go down with the other Madrid kids, but he has to tie his belt because Mbappé wants to go with Everything to whatever team he is,  in PSG or they are giving him minutes , and that is detrimental for him because they don't see him in good shape.

So far PSG have recorded themselves as the most dominant team in Ligue 1 in winning trophies, as well as this season they have indeed left Brest out of the championship competition, the draw obtained by PSG against Reims became the third draw obtained by PSG in three consecutive matches, but even so PSG still remain very safe at the top of the table and it is difficult for Brest to catch up even when PSG get 1 or 2 more draws in the next match.

So far we know PSG as a team that tends to depend more on star players to fill their squad, but maybe for now it is better for Enrique to prioritize young players into their squad because after years of trying to rely on star players in the Champions League but they have failed, so maybe young players will be able to do better later at PSG and indeed PSG should be able to find every solution to their failure continuously in the Champions League during this time.
As for Mbappe replacement, PSG are reportedly currently eyeing Lamine Yamal from Barcelona, but I honestly doubt if Lamine Yamal can replace Mbappe role in the PSG squad, because he is currently very young at 17 years old and to be the mainstay of a team experience and leadership are needed while for Lamine Yamal, of course, there is no such thing.

Enrique's plan to reduce PSG's Mbappé dependence is perfectly fine. The recent matches showed that PSG has more than one star player. Shrewd move with a comfortable Ligue 1 lead and Brest not a threat despite PSG's draws. Should Mbappé go soon, the team must adjust to playing without him. PSG is prepared for future difficulties and other players can step up with this strategy.

Although Brest is trailing, PSG's lead is still intact. PSG can win the title again due to the point difference and Brest's loss to Lens. Therefore, these draws shouldnt damage their title run. More about preparing for high-stakes Champions League matches and being competitive without Mbappé. Im excited to see how PSG evolves during the season.

The draw they received this week doesn't make their chances of becoming champions small, because the point gap between them is still far enough for teams in Ligue 1 to catch up. I don't even think any team will be able to catch it, unless the situation is different. , it seems for example that Brest is in first position and Paris Saint Germain is in second position. I don't mean to underestimate Brest in this matter, but the inconsistency shown by teams other than Paris Saint Germain opens up opportunities for Paris Saint Germain to catch up.
I would say Paris Saint Germain will be champions again this season, whether we like it or not we have to see that, because in fact there is no team that has the same strength that can compete closely with Paris Saint Germain. Even if there is, it only happens at the start of the season and not at the end of the season. In Ligue 1 Paris Saint Germain's task to become champions is not difficult at all, they can even do everything to win the title in a row.
There is no other team in League 1 that is consistently able to put pressure on PSG at the top of the standings, so even though PSG do not achieve maximum results they are still comfortable at the top of the standings.
This is the bad thing about competition which actually harms teams like PSG who are unable to develop in performance to be able to compete on the European stage.
I think the reason why PSG has not been able to win the Champions League title as they target every season is because the League 1 competition is not competitive.

I am very disappointed with PSG's draw, they are really not worth placing bets on, even though PSG are very favorites, they don't seem to have much motivation to win the match.

If you compare the budget of PSG with the other teams, you can clearly understand that PSG is a team with much more investment than all the other teams and they can have a much better situation because of the expensive coaches and players they can buy for their team. While in the French League 1, all the other teams can't invest this huge amount of money and they can't even get close to PSG because of the much more money PSG can invest in this team.
Taty's mostly because of the owner of PSG, while the others don't have a rich owner like PSG has and this can make a huge difference between this team and all the other teams in the French League.
But only a draw from PSG against these other teams doesn't mean they had a bad performance in that game.
whatever PSG is doing and whatever results will be obtained by PSG in each match in the end will lead League 1 because this team has a lot of money to be able to bring in higher quality players and everyone will not be surprised if maybe later PSG is left Mbappe, of course Mbappe will still dominate league 1 because finances are able to provide the support of a team to be able to achieve extraordinary achievements.
I might not be comparing PSG with other teams when everything really looks very different and actually PSG today does not have any shortcomings, but the shortcomings are not able to get the title at UCL.
yesterday's draw was not a big problem for Enrique because a very large difference in points would not be able to be pursued by the runner up team so that PSG would compete more relaxed because it seemed that Enrique kept Mbappe energy to be able to perform with full strength when fighting Nice in the Coupe de France match.

currently there is no other team that can beat PSG but I am sure in the short term when Monaco or Lille gets big investors to develop this team, PSG will certainly get a very heavy opponent and for the time being league 1 is a little boring because the dominance of PSG will continue as long as there are no teams that are able to have the same finances as PSG.

Draws in the last three matches have not put pressure on PSG, they are still leading the standings comfortably, because the points gap with Brest is still large. Enrique can relax in Ligue 1, and will focus fully on the Champions League matches ahead. On the other hand, this is Mbappe last season at PSG, Enrique must make good use of his presence in order to increase their bargaining value in the hunt for the Champions League trophy.

Who knows, PSG could be the surprise team this season, who could reach the final, like Inter last season.

I see if indeed at this time PSG is no longer too focused on Ligue 1 because their position has been very far from Brest, even if yesterday PSG won a draw it was even worse because they got a defeat from Lens who are currently eyeing a Champions ticket, PSG performance in Ligue 1 may look strange when they have to get a draw let alone lose because of the comparison of quality possessed by PSG compared to the other team and I think the draw was obtained by PSG because Enrique is trying to experiment with his team to find the right formation without Mbappe.

I agree that at the moment PSG's main focus should be the Champions League and however Enrique should give his main players enough rest time by no longer prioritizing too many league matches, that is, it is better for Mbappe to keep the main players for the Champions League and the reserve squad to spend the rest of the Ligue 1 games this season, so that at least the PSG squad can be more primed and focused on the Champions League later to reach the round Final.

Jurgen Klopp - Liverpool's soul, red-blooded passion. Pep Guardiola - the blue storm of the city, the wizard of tactics. Today is their last clash in the Premier League battleground. Their conflict was a whirlwind of emotions. Do you remember? Breathtaking title battles, tactically extraordinary matches, and celebrations that shook the foundations of English football? Guardiola's complex possession-based game against Klopp's unstoppable Gegenpressing - the clash of these two styles has produced some of the most thrilling matches in football.
You should tell about this in the Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 topic, not in the French League topic where basically there are no Liverpool and Manchester City teams here. So I think it would be more appropriate if you told it there because it is very related to the English League, whereas here all the discussions are directed to the French League. In the future, try not to enter the wrong room, although I also have to understand because you are still a newbie in this matter.
