We don't know if they'll find a replacement for Mbappe if he leaves. Other than that I don't know about the dominance next season. But I predict that they will look for Enrique's best player to replace Mbappe. So I think they will keep working hard to be the best team in France. They have the money and they can use it to bring in other best players.
PSG are capable of bringing in any big name but they're quite aware of what happen to them the last time they tried combining these players to play together, the team thrown into confusion because these big names always have issues with one another and playing collective football on the pitch is no longer guaranteed. PSG boss, Luis Enrique is trying to spot out crucial backup player for the team's most outstanding player who's leaving the club at the end of this current season. It's definitely huge loss for Les Parisiens but I think they can boldly cope as time passes on.

In Ligue 1, I'm sure they will still dominate even without a big player like Mbappe. but to compete in Europe with bigger, stronger teams, it will be quite difficult for PSG to compete.
I'm sure that with Mbappe leaving there will be big names coming. but PSG may be missing out on the big momentum they failed to achieve even when they managed to bring in top European players.

Currently PSG is trying to get used to the team without Mbappe, but PSG seems to be having difficulty without Mbappe. I'm not sure next season when Mbappe leaves PSG whether they can dominate League One again.

Paris Saint German vs Nice

Paris Saint Germain StartXI: 4-3-1-2

Gianluigi Donnarumma; Lucas Hernández; Fabián Ruiz; Lucas Beraldo; Nuno Mendes; Warren Zaïre-Emery; Vitinha; Kang-in Lee; Ousmane Dembélé; Gonçalo Ramos; Kylian Mbappé

Nice StartXI: 4-3-3

Marcin Bułka; Jordan Lotomba; Jean-Clair Todibo; Dante; Melvin Bard; Morgan Sanson; Pablo Rosario; Khéphren Thuram; Gaëtan Laborde; Evann Guessand; Jérémie Boga
Its the first time for Kylian Mbappé get back his regular position and playing on the first minutes after last several matches have start from the bench, until 30th minutes match PSG leaded over 1-0 after Kylian Mbappé scoring the goal on 14th minutes trough assist from Fabian Ruiz. Kylian Mbappé answered well get back his regular position and Luis Henrique have stop his ego to put him on the bench after bad result achieved by PSG in last several matches.
The match still left more minutes and PSG winning one goal still not secure yet for qualifying to semifinal round, I think PSG keep focus more offensive so far almost 30 minutes just making one shots or target, must playing more aggressive and not only dominance with ball possession but also have effective with how many shots on target to score many goals.

We haven't seen who the opponents they will face in the quarter-finals are, but what is clear is that the opponents they will face are much stronger than the opponents they faced in the round of 16. With facts like that, it is very clear that they have to prepare themselves as best as possible before playing their match in the Champions League quarter-finals. They can do rotations in Ligue 1, because in Ligue 1 they are quite safe and they can avoid the risk of injury by resting some of their players for the Champions League matches.

Every season, winning the Champions League is the main target for Paris Saint Germain, but unfortunately they always fail. They are not that strong when competing in the Champions League which is occupied by the best teams from the top leagues in Europe, so their task is not like in Ligue 1 where they can dominate the league freely. In my opinion, their mentality in the Champions League is still not very well formed, because one of the factors that will influence a team's game is mentality.
Mbappe is one big player who’s set to make wave when he completes his move to Real Madrid which is hos dream club as he’s been on this transfer for over two seasons. He’s now set to leave PSG and he’s leaving for free. This is a big loss to the French club and yes Enrique in his wisdom knows the effect of learning to play without him early and that’s what I think is going down as even Luis also made the statement after he was subbed off against Monaco 2 weeks ago.

Yes a lot might argue and think Enrique is doing this to keep him in shape for the UCL, but I don’t see this as true though even if I know how much Enrique is using all strategies to see if the club can get anything at UCL stage. Well the sub yes, is having effects as you can see they’re not performing optimally without Kylian. I think every change needs time to get effective and this kind of change will sure get effective and I know Enrique knows what’s best for the club as he’s a great tactical coach.  Not using him for league matches is because he’s already won the league and knows he’s in a safe place with him trying to play without Kylian.

We know how much players like Kylian to add to a team and how much it could mean if this thing tried by Enrique backfires, well I think the fans should understand and give him some breathing space as he’s doing this for the future as that’s the bigger picture in this method being used by the coach. Getting a replacement might be pretty hard, so what’s best is trying to make all the players involved and it’s great he’s trying it very early and as such I’m fully in support of Enrique and any decision he takes.

For this reason, it looks like it will be interesting whether next season, if Mbappe really leaves, whether PSG will still be able to dominate Ligue 1 or not. Because after all, Enrique hasn't played Mbappe several times but in reality it is still difficult for PSG to win even though PSG only play against mediocre teams in Ligue 1. So ya, if Mbappe really leaves, then I think there is a possibility that PSG will experience a decline in performance which might be serious too in Next season. Thus, it will still be difficult for PSG to win a trophy in the Champions League and it is clear that PSG still has to carry out a major overhaul. Of course, to get even better management and squad and performance, so that PSG can succeed in producing good results also in the Champions League and not only in Ligue 1.
Before that happens, Paris Saint Germain should have prepared everything from now on, they cannot rely on just one player because if that player leaves then it is very risky for them, and Paris Saint Germain must also remember one thing that there are no players. who will forever be at one club, especially if the player is a young player who has excellent abilities who attract a lot of interest from other big clubs.

Maybe the coach tried to experiment by not playing Mbappe, but as you said it seemed to have a big impact on their game. Like it or not, this happens because of themselves, those who continuously transport star players without thinking about a strong foundation for their future. And that is the real problem they are experiencing right now. In fact, it's not too late if they want to start building a solid foundation now, but the problem is that they are struggling with the same thing, namely continuously trying to convince Mbappe to stay. I think it's just a waste of time. Because if a player has expressed his desire to leave, it will be difficult to defend him.

In my opinion, their mentality in the Champions League is still not very well formed, because one of the factors that will influence a team's game is mentality.

The ability to win league games and even dominate in the league is no longer in doubt from PSG, even often for us to know the Ligue 1 champion without having to wait for the season to end, PSG's capacity as a big team in Ligue 1 makes them win the league too easily and even relatively without getting much resistance from other teams like now where PSG only needs a few more games and victories to celebrate the championship.

PSG's greatness in the league is actually inversely proportional to their achievements in the champions league which we can say is quite bad so far, PSG best achievement in the champions league is only limited to reaching the final in 2020 without being able to bring the Champions League trophy to France, after these achievements we have not even seen if PSG is able to reach the semifinals so far,  True, mentality is the main reason for their failure in the Champions League, the league is not competitive and also the lack of competition certainly forms a strong mentality above weak teams, but it is weak when they face strong teams in Europe.

Yes, that makes more sense because qualifying for the top 8 of the Champions League means that Enrique has to wisely manage his top players to get more rest without expending too much energy to avoid the risk of injury and this effort was made by Enrique because I remember the coach's goal was to try to help PSG to Winning the Champions League trophy this season even though the chances are not very big, Enrique is just trying his best with all the strategies he uses.
It's impossible for a club to just rest its best players without using them to defend the title unless there is a drama like last time, but I think a drama like that won't happen again this season because Enrqiue is really passionate about bringing PSG to the Champions League trophy.
PSG is 10 points ahead of Brest. Even though we only achieved draws in the last 3 matches in the League, I think Enrique will still rotate and rest several key players for the Champions League. PSG has successfully qualified for the next round and the Champions League has entered the break. I think now Enrique will return to playing the main squad to provide distance for Brest in second place. I think in the end PSG will still be champions of Ligue 1. No other team can compete with PSG. And no other team can play consistently to catch up on points when PSG is focused on the Champions League.

PSG has the advantage of winning the league when they were 15 points ahead of the second team on the table before they drop the points to 10 even at that they are still the best team to win the league because Brest is no match for them as they will also drop more points and PSG will have the opportunity to give them more gaps before the end of the season so it doesn't matter if PSG will continue to rest their key players to play in the round of 8 in the champions League or they will start the key players in the first half of every league game then make a substitution I the second half to change the best players so they can be available when they play in the champions League.

Since they will take a break before they resume in the champions league it will be an opportunity for PSG to increase the points so they may not be in competition with the second team to win the league, at the end PSG will be crowned the champions in the league.

PSG is the strongest team in Ligue 1 so it is quite natural that they are able to dominate the title race every season. As long as there is Mbappe in the PSG team then they are very strong in their strength. So if next season PSG is without Mbappe then that's where we will see how their strength balance will be for next season. If Mbappe stays, then I don't think the other teams have a chance to win the title.

PSG this season also made good progress in the Champions League where they were able to advance to the next round in the Champions League. I think Luis Enrique has many opportunities to bring PSG to win the title this season. Well if they succeed in becoming champions in the Champions League I think their curse has ended in the hands of Luis Enrique.
I will take it a step further and say that when Mbappe finally leaves, they are still going to be the best team in the league. I know that transfermarkt is not the whole thing, but looking at it, we can see that the "value" of Mbappe is 180 million euro, and the whole team worths a billion dollars, even if you remove a whopping 500 million, half of the teams worth, they are still the most valuable team in the league.

You could just remove him, and you still have eleven amazing players in that team. And this isn't even during the summer, obviously when Mbappe leaves this summer, they are also going to buy some players too and even with that in mind I feel like they are going to be fine, it is not going to matter as much to them.

The difference in points left by PSG in the ligue 1 has been very far, even if PSG suffered a defeat it will be very difficult for Brest to reach PSG's current position let alone Brest also began to be inconsistent in their matches, PSG's performance in the league is certainly not surprising for us because they have qualities that are not possessed by other teams in ligue 1 at this time,  Some of PSG rivals in the league often only give resistance when the season starts but when the league has entered the middle then as usual PSG will start to leave them far enough and it will even be very difficult to catch PSG at the end of the season.

No different from last season, this season PSG can also certainly have won the Ligue 1 trophy in their hands, so it is better indeed for enrique to rotate their players so that the main players can get enough rest time to play in the Champions League later, PSG chances to win the Champions League this season are wide open and of course it all depends on how Enrique will be able to maximize the PSG squad later,  In addition, I think it is time for Enrique to lift the mentality of his main players to be ready for the Champions League.

It will be more interesting if Lille beats Brest because if that happens, then ofcourse Brest, Monaco and Lille will have a gap of 1 point. But yes, if for example Lille beat Brest and Monaco beat Lorient, then Monaco becomes the second-placed team with a better points advantage . But,if the match between Brest v Lille ends in a draw, then it will leave Lille with a slightly widergap and that will leave Lille behind in the competition . With such a scenario, then I am more expecting Lille to win against Brest in the next Ligue 1 match, although it at least helps Monaco to overtake Brest but at least Lille still has a chance to overtake Brest and be in the top three with PSG, Monaco and Lille.
It looks like it will be much more difficult for Lille to beat Brest because Brest's condition is much more consistent compared to Lille and the match will also take place at Brest's home ground, so Brest's motivation to win the match will be much greater, especially since in the last match they lost against Lens. I am more confident that the match will end in a draw even though Brest's chances of winning the match are much greater

Lille needs a win to catch Monaco in third place and if Brest loses then the chance of shifting Monaco's position will be a little more difficult Monaco will face a much easier match because they face Lorient who are currently above the relegation zone, so Monaco's position will be much easier to win in this match.

Lille, Monaco, Brest and Lens are likely to be fighting for the remaining places to get tickets to the UCL and UEL next season and for Nice I'm not sure if the team can improve its performance again after running out of steam and now it's time for the popular teams to appear even stronger.
Marseille may have a chance too but not too big, unless it is able to continue to maintain 3 points in the remaining matches to come but to get past Lens will not be an easy job.
Just like i said before Nice will fight against Lens this weekend and this could be hard match for Nice because their performance is decline even i have been notice Nice previously was lost from small teams just like Montpellier and Toulouse and Nice even have to playing draw from Clermont so this makes their position was down and out from Champion League zone but if Nice return to consistent i think they still considers as strong contender for Champion League spots with Monaco, Brest, Lille and Lens but unfortunately Nice has tight schedules because before the match against Lens later they have to fight against PSG at quarterfinal of France Cup today

For other matches besides Lens vs Nice i was found too 1 interesting match between Brest vs Lille and i know Brest has just lost from Lens but they are still in the runner up place with 46 points and similar to PSG Brest can able to managed their home matches records because during this season in Ligue 1 Brest only lost once from PSG moreover Lille performance also cannot be says stable because Lille only can gets 11 wins and lost 5 times besides that Brest has good records during playing at home against Lille so i feel like Brest will being an the winner of this match

Yeah have you seen the improvement in Aubameyang's performance since Jean-Louis Gasset's starting to manage the team? He also started to be fired up after this change and scored 8 goals in his last 5 games.  Smiley

On the other hand I know a new manager is usually motivating the team to play much better for a while. This is seen at so many teams in the world. We will find out if Gasset will really make difference for Marseille in the long run. Nice could be the next team to replace their manager shortly.  Tongue  Francesco Farioli might be really likely to get sacked if we see this horrible form much longer. I wonder what their main goal was to achieve in the league this season.
The arrival of Jean-Louis Gasset has had a significant impact on the Marseille squad and especially for Aubameyang, we see him becoming a productive striker again. In almost every match since being led by Jean-Louis Gasset, Aubameyang has always been able to score goals and that can increase his confidence in the attack line. We can only hope that Marseille will not change coaches again and this season and next will still rely on Jean-Louis Gasset as a tactician.

Regarding Nice, I have run out of patience with this team and have repeatedly had my bets ruined when betting on them. Francesco Farioli is no longer fit to handle Nice and even though he managed to bring Nice into the dome of competition, unfortunately it couldn't last long and it would be very worrying if Nice was passed by one by one the teams below them. Fans should start pressuring him so that the club management immediately considers firing him.

For now Monaco is more on a better chance to compete with Brest on the second position because they both have a very close points unlike Lille and Lens that still have like 3 points lower than Brest and Monaco, although anything is possible because it all depends on there efforts and courage, so if they put more focus on there matches they could raise there points and compete for the second position, however on the 17th Brest will be meeting Lille and in as much as Lille is on the lower position than Brest but there meeting is not always easy on Brest because I remember how there last match went, Brest losing against Lille and also the way I'm looking at it Brest make not likely last longer on the second position because they seem to have decreased in performance lately because even Lens won them on there last meeting, so I believe that very soon the second position will fall among Monaco, Lille or Lens because they are of good performance than Brest right now.

Marseille is having their positive outbreaks. They just started another winning streaks of three games in a row, but last time they did it when they recovered from the bad start into the season, it was followed by another few weaker games. But Lens and Lille have shown some weaker games and now I think Marseille is looking at the UEFA competitions again. It was out of the question that they could reach it when they were still at the bottom of the table and nobody understood what was going on with them. But now they have got a good number of games left and I think everything is possible again.

They are still playing against Lille, Nice and Lens, which means they can make these teams drop more points and the Champions League qualification phase position on rank 4 is possible again.

That would be the last reason coming to my mind when Enrique decides to let Mbappe sit on the bench. I have never heard before that a coach forgoes the possibility to use the best player in the world because he wants to prepare the team for times when that player will not be around anymore, lol! It sounds like a bad joke. He is not using Mbappe that much because he wants to avoid at all cost that Mbappe gets injured and misses a single minute of the upcoming Champions League games. Mbappe is pissed about it I guess, but Enrique doesn't show any mercy because he wants him in the best physical condition possible and I can understand it.

Correct but I have mentioned it before that I don't think it is always the best decision to rest your top stars. Players like Mbappe need the games, they need the goals to feel comfortable and ready. Too much rotation and too much time on the bench might not necessarily lead to the desired effect that it makes a player stronger and more thrilled for the games to come. Think about it: if a player has a run and is scoring one or two goals every game, would it definitely be smart to start giving that player breaks all the time? In my opinion it might not be the best solution. These guys want to break records, but if they are sitting on the bench, it can destroy their excitement to break potential records because the coach robs them of the time they would need to do it. Ronaldo would have freaked out if a coach had decided to let him sit on the bench when he was in his mid 20s at Real Madrid.
