Funny how since Mbappe is known for leaving in the summer for Real , PSG are 2 draws in a row and the title fight is kinda back online with Brest being 9 points behind them but I doubt anyone can catch PSG.

Lyon - Lens and this is a tough one for Lens because Lyon has a winning streak of 4 games and last month for Lens has been really bad , being eliminated from Conference League and then lost top 6 in Ligue 1 too...

very proud to see Marseille has returned to improve her performance even though previously had difficulty going up to the top 10 at the time of bad that occurred at that time after Louis Gasset overcome this problem slowly Marseille finally found the right strategy to remain consistent in increasing the number of points to return to rank 3 in the standings like last season.
TBH, I was not too impressed with a large score that had been printed when fighting Montpellier and Clermont because the two teams were only a weak team that had always been a place to get points for the top teams so that I was not surprised if Marseille was able to score a big score in the 2 matches.

In the upcoming match Marseille will appear in UEL against Villarreal and if indeed Louis Gasset can have a positive impact that it should not have difficulty in scoring a winning score because in my opinion Villarreal has a performance that is almost equivalent to Marseille.
If in the first leg UEL won a big score I had to give praise to the coach.

One thing that really caught my attention is that Marseille are now very reliable and they are not half-hearted when they win because they have always scored lots of goals so far. It would be very nice when one of the big teams could do this continuously and I think betting on Marseille would be quite promising to win. They have won two matches like this in a landslide and I want to see Marseille maintain this.

I briefly discussed the role of the new coach, Jean-Louis Gasset, who made Marseille as aggressive as it is now and maybe if Marseille still kept Gattuso the results would not be like this. I know it's too early to congratulate coach Jean-Louis Gasset's performance but I think it all starts with good things like this. Currently Marseille is in 6th position in the standings and is only 5 to 6 points away from Lille and Monaco. They will definitely get a place in European competition from the Champions League, European League or Conference League next season and I am very sure of that.

Maybe Enruque himself also has his own reasons for placing Mbappe in that position, even though he might be more suitable for the position you said. But for now PSG doesn't need to think too much about their condition in Ligue 1 because they are actually far ahead of their competitors, so the coach and players should think about the Champions League, which they will play in two days' time. Because if you look at the points obtained by PSG, it is very natural for them to apply several different formations to see how they develop with that formation.

Marseille is in 6th place in the standings and still needs lot of wins to improve its standings until this season competition ends.
It just that I also admit that Marseille performance in the last 3 matches was truly extraordinary, they won with big scores of 3 - 1, 4 - 1 and 5 - 1, this was truly victory that made all Marseille fans cheer with joy.
Maybe all of this is proof that Jean-Louis Gasset performance as coach has really produced satisfactory results and seeing all the players in these 3 matches really looks different from the previous few matches which were just draws and defeats.
Hopefully this will be good start for Marseille in the future by finishing the season and for the development of next season to be even better.

Do you believe that Marseille can get more appropriate place to be able to have UCL ticket? There will be fiercer competition in the future because the competition has been going on for quite long time and there are only few weeks left to finish.
Maybe Marseille can get better ranking but I not so sure they can get UCL tickets easily.

Ligue 1 only has 3 team slots to compete in the UCL, which means Marseille must at least occupy the top 3 positions, and even then they must first go through qualifying or the play-off round.
Everything will not be easy and Marseille must really have perfect strength.

Currently there is not much that Ligue 1 clubs can hope for apart from just finishing as high as possible in the standings, while for the title it is definitely just a dream for them because no one will be able to break PSG dominance to day,  most realistic option for Other teams besides PSG in Ligue 1 have only qualified for the Champions League, even though they realize that they won't be able to survive in the Champions League for long, but at least their can earn a little money from playing in the Champions League.

Yes, indeed we see several active movements in the transfer market by several clubs such as Marseille, Montpellier, Nice and Metz as you said, but actually they didn't bring in star players who were capable of bringing the team to not only target a good position but at least become champions, apart from that, if you pay attention in several seasons at Ligue 1, it can be seen that the team Apart from  PSG often sells their star  players, so they only use the transfer market to find replacements for the players they sell, and not to make their performance even better than the previous season.

Since got promoted to Ligue 1 Brest was never fight for Champion League spots before but this season they clearly different because Brest performance is quite impressive which make Brest can able to gets second places on league standings and i think their chances to playing at European competitions for next season will be wide open and today Brest want to resumes their winning streak by attempts to beat Le Havre and actually Le Havre target want to avoiding relegation zone because their position is still not secured but it's quite hard for them because their opponent Brest in the good condition

Just like i said before Brest was not rely on the particular players for each matches to scores so that's why almost all of their current striker can able to scores and performing well and for this match i am quite confident Brest will be able to resumes their winning streak and collect 3 points from Le Havre and the odds for Brest win is not high @1.59 so my prediction is Brest will being an the winner of this match and about the scores 1-0 or 2-1 for Brest

Actually, marseille performance yesterday was beyond what I expected,at first I think clermont is going to win the match reason is because marseille has been in a losing position this time,but to my greatest surprise they won with goals,with there performance yesterday I think they have come back to there form once again.if they continue like this I guess they will make it up to top 4 of the league this season.

Actually, it's all a matter of the coach's strategy, if we look at other leagues then we will find the same problem in the Bundesliga and also several other leagues, Hutter is a coach who has studied quite a lot of opponents that his team will face, so he chooses a strategy to locking in PSG's core attackers.  but to be honest, i don't like the formation used by enrique, he should make mbappe a center forward, not a winger.

On a serious note Lille won the match by luck because there performance was not good on that match and they were struggling but Reims did not give them a breathing space, although Reims was actually supposed to win Lille on that match but they were unlucky but in terms of performance they really played very well because there ball possession was something else far better than Lille but the problem they had on that match was that they lack quality striker someone who is very good in scoring because they could not utilize all the opportunities Reims had on that match if not they were supposed to win Lille with a good reasonable goals because they miss all the opportunity they had, although it surprises me to see how Lille who has gone very far on the league will perform that poor that a club who is far below them on the table will trouble them this much, so actually is indeed a lucky win for Lille and has upgraded them on the league table and now they have a very close points with Monaco and Brest so perhaps there targets now will be to compete with them on the second and third position of the league table.

It is an amazing start for Marseille's new manager Jean-Louis Gasset honestly.    He managed three games one of which was in the Europa League and Marseille won all of them by really comfortable scores. It was like the players were waiting for this moment. Aubameyang also seems very motivated after the manager change. Because he scored four goals in these 3 games.  

There are still so many weeks to go for the end of the season. They have a chance to fight for a Champions League spot as long as they continue consistently. It is only a gap of five points.

Even if breast wins all their games, chances are they still aren't going to win the league title because PSG as well will keep winning other games ahead and keeping the gap big still so expecting PSG to loose in any of their recent games is almost not happening. The Ligue 1 has never been a problem to PSG rather they have always seen it as something they can always handle so their problems has always lays within the champions league. This season PSG has seem to get a better chance beyond the round of sixteen but they may have some challenges by the semi finals that's if they are able to get there. winning real socidad in the first leg with two goals was a very good step that will be able to cushion any mistake if they eventually get one by the second leg because socidad will need to score at least four goals without PSG getting any in the second leg if they must be able to stay ahead of PSG to be able to proceed to the next stage of the champions league basically beyond the round of sixteen .

Even if PSG uses the rotational strategy to enable them be able to rest some key players in the Ligue 1 so they can get better results in the champions league, I think they will still not have much to fight for in the champions league because they are definitely going to still get back bin track and win the Ligue 1 because they have gotten a good point difference att he table top such that will be able to accommodate flaws should any cones.

Brest's chances of being able to achieve maximum results this week are quite wide open, they will host Le Havre who are still struggling at the bottom of the standings, so this is a great opportunity for Brest to be able to get 3 points. Le Havre themselves finished their last 5 matches without even winning, they only got 2 draws and 3 others ended in defeat. While Brest can get 2 wins, although 3 other matches must end with a draw, but of course it is a better result than the opponents they will face.

Brest itself is trying hard to secure their position in 2nd place in the standings, because Monaco who is right below them also continues to stick tight. They also definitely want to get closer to Paris Saint Germain, but considering their distance is 12 points now it is something that will be very difficult to do. That requires consecutive negative results to be obtained by Paris Saint Germain. The problem is that Paris Saint Germain are the strongest club in Ligue 1 so I don't think any club can give them that.

Lille won with a single goal away to Reims.Both teams didn't have many positions during the match, but we can say that Lille won the match with the difference in the quality of their squad.They should be happy to come back from a difficult away with 3 points because the points difference with their rivals is small and they are in a fierce fight.
Marseille, on the other hand, showered the bottom of the league with goals.This win was important for their recovery.They have a strong squad and I don't think they deserve to be where they are now.The points difference with their rivals is not much but they need to win back-to-back wins.They still have a chance to catch up with their rivals and they will be in a fierce race for the top 3.They got the 3 points with a good game against Clermont.

I would understand them not being a weak team, but with PSG spending three times more money than any other team, I would have expected them to get the win here. That is not because Monaco is bad, they could be second best team, and all I care finish by beating everyone else, but PSG is just a way too good team that I did not expected anything bigger, that became a bit of a problem for most people.

I think it should be clear that we are not going to end up with a win all that easily, it is going to change a lot eventually. I hope that people could have some sort of discussion regards to their manager, and even their owner as well. Looking like they are not the by far best team is unacceptable for PSG and that's what they did in this game.

Since Marseille was handled by Jean-Louis Gasset, in his 3 matches he succeeded in bringing his squad to 3 wins. one in the Europa League, two in Ligue 1. although Marseille's opponents are Shaktar in the Europa League, Montpellier and Clermont. however, the coach has proven that he is at least better than Marselino and Gattuso in his initial tenure. In the match against Clermont, Marseille was able to take the lead in the 23rd minute with a goal scored by Ndieaye. towards the end of the second half, the home team was able to equalize 1-1. but after that Jean-Louis Gasset's team stepped on the gas and were able to beat the home team with a final score of 1-5.

In fact, it is natural that Marseille would be able to win the match against Clermont. because the home team is the resident of the red zone with the lowest ranking. moreover, referring to the course of the match, Marseille had more control over the course of the match and so based on every opportunity they had. It was recorded that Marseille had 17 total shots, 11 of which were on target and 6 were big opportunities. Marseille should have scored more goals than that. but no matter how many goals they score, the points remain the same 3 points.
Well, even though it seems very doubtful that Marseille will be able to finish at least in the top four of Ligue 1. However, with the progress made by this new coach, it seems that Marseille is making good progress. In at least 3 matches in different competitions, Marseille was able to score 12 goals. For me, it's quite good for a coach who has just managed Marseille. Well, we'll see how Marseille develops in the next matches. is Jean-Louis Gasset able to make his team much better, or are they only good at the start.  well, quite interesting.

PSG is only interested in winning the title. It is almost certain that PSG will win the Ligue 1 title. Brest, second in the table, will not be able to close the huge gap of 12 points with PSG by winning all the matches in a row. So Luis Enrique is not worried about the Ligue 1 title now. He is now keen to do well in the Champions League and win the French Cup title.

PSG are now in a bit of a safe zone after beating Real Sociedad 2-0 in the first leg of the Champions League. PSG's players can only qualify for the quarter-finals if they can put up some consistent performances in the away match of the second leg. This will not be a difficult task. Luis Enrique will surely develop a suitable match strategy to play well against Sociedad.
