The two clubs you mentioned Marseille and Lyon are popular clubs who experienced bad times at the start of the season but have made positive improvements and managed to continue adding points to be in the best position in the points table.
Talking about this opportunity, it could happen because if we look deeper, the club that has managed to reach its best position at the moment is actually making consistent improvements, while the club that is currently at the top has experienced a slight decline in performance and if Marseille really wants to get a ticket to the Champions League in next season, Marseille just needs to be consistent to continue adding points slowly and shift the clubs above them.
For Lyon, this club will continue to avoid the red zone, but getting a Champions League ticket seems very difficult.

Maintaining consistency is not an easy thing if the Nice players do not have the motivation to continue to improved their performances, so they do not only rely on defensive strategies but they also have to maximize attack so as not to lose balance when they face a club that is quite strong in attacking, now Nice position are increasingly being move to 5th place because of their poor result in the last few match where they failed to get even 1 wins in the last 5 matches. I think if Nice performances doesn't improve it is very likely that they won't get a ticket to compete in the Champions League next season. But at least Nice still has time to immediately fix it because clubs other than PSG in the top 5 are still somewhat inconsistent.

Brest is currently in the Champions League zone in second place but this is not completely convincing because the clubs below still have a chance, it's just that Brest is 4 points ahead and recently they haven't experience a defeated and have only achieved 2 draw. If they can maintain his consistency then he can get the ticket and compete in big competition. Monaco itself has remained in 3rd place for a long time and is also not said to be safe in being in the Champions League zone because it is only 1 point different from Lille.

PSG dominates and ranked first on the table while other elite one are fighting for important positions on the table. Competitive race are mainly for the elite clubs, we all know that but in scenarios where we see the top clubs fighting really hard to bounce back to winning shape, it's worth supporting. Marseille started on a wrong foot and they're trying their possible to ensure they make things right for their supporters, they're aiming to bring back the winning days. Olympique Marseille have become prominent and having solid winnings in games becomes trustable on their side.

Marseille has had its ups and downs, when they, historically one of France's most successful clubs, has faced challenges and setbacks like any other team. Their history is full of inconsistencies may make poeple are doubtful about their current capabilities and potential for growth. Clubs that don't elevate their chance to maintain their developement shouldn't deserve any chance to compete at the highest level. This is why Ligue 1 is the least rated league in europe top five.

Their historical success and infrastructure suggest that they have the resources and potential to capitalize on their opportunities. Football is a dynamic sport, and success is not guaranteed, even for the most storied clubs, but maintainance is something should be done for the growth of the club and the league. Lyon's recent struggles serve as a cautionary tale that makes Ligue 1 has no big history in european competition.

I will say beforehand that I am not underestimating Nice in this competition. however, due to Francesco Farioli's strategy and system, Nice does not have players who can be relied on as goal machines in their squad. iIn the end, Francesco Farioli prioritized his defense and counter-attack patterns. We can refer to the statistics of this team, in 24 matches in Ligue 1, Nice was only able to score 23 goals. It is clear that this team does not have the creativity in terms of productivity to score as many goals as they can in the matches they play. That's why, I often say that in the end Nice will drop in ranking and is now in 5th place in the Ligue 1 standings.

As for Brest, it's like Nice. In the end, it is very likely that they will also experience a decline in their ranking in the top four of the Lique 1 standings. In the next two matches, Brest will have an away match at Lens headquarters and host a match against Lille. If this team loses in two matches, there is an opportunity for Monaco and Lillie to overtake their ranking in the position they currently occupy. Marseille still has the chance of qualifying for a European competition. They have had two straight wins and might move to at least fourth position if they win their next three games but this movement will be determined by the results of other top teams. Rennes might not be a top team but they are not doing badly in the league. Although they lost their last games against Lorient before then they have had six wins and two draws in eight games in Ligue One including a draw with the league leaders PSG. So I doubt if Marseille will have a cheap win against Rennes, they would have to work hard to get a win. Nantes might be an easier side to defeat but we have to note that nothing is certain in football.

Current standings, Marseille remaining 5 points left from Lille and its not large amount to reach based on Ligue 1 has 10 matches left and most of opponents face by Marseille are the teams on the top fourth position including Lille. I think opportunity for Marseille qualify to Champion League next season depend on their hand self without waiting other teams result, if losses on Ligue 1 matches left have bit difficult not only with Champion League spot standings but also Marseille can't guarantee with Europe League position spot.
Two matches later in domestic league, Marseille will face not really top teams such as Nantes and Rennes before facing difficult teams PSG and Lille.

I agree that Marseille has a chance, but at the same time I feel like do they even deserve it? I feel like there are so many teams in ligue 1 that did well enough for a few seasons but didn't capitalize on it and didn't get any better. Marseille is one of those teams, they did well for a while and then they did nothing afterwards, makes no sense to me at all.

I think the better judgement would be just focusing on what teams who when given a chance could do better. Look at Lyon as the biggest example, they won seven in a row, and did nothing with that, they were almost getting relegated, maybe they still could. Teams that capitalize on their wins and successful seasons would be what this league needs, not just taking the money and leave.

In addition to PSG there seems to be no team in Ligue1 that is indeed safe enough to step into the Champions League next season, Brest when occupying the second rank as well as Monaco who are ranked 3rd also cannot be sure to get one of the two remaining tickets this season, because in my opinion there is still a possibility of changes that occur in the standings throughout the rest of the current matches,  Bres and Monaco form is quite good because they have been able to have a fairly consistent season but I think there will be a lot of challenges for them to test their consistency towards the end of the seson.

At the moment Brest and Monaco have a small difference in points from the teams below them and I think the chances of teams like Nice, Lens and Lille are certainly still very open in trying to take the position of these two teams, the experience of last season should actually be a lesson for Monaco when they at the beginning of the season was quite consistent but in the end they often achieved bad results when the season was about to end.
 As for Brest, I dare not say if they can stay all season in the second tier because after all there will still be cCrucial matches that they have to face with teams in the top 6 in the next few weeks, so the possibility of a change of position is very likely and lens, lille and also nice will Certainly take advantage of these conditions to improve their position in the table.

Although for now I think Marseille has just a little chance of qualifying for the champions League because between them Lille, Lens and Nice they has the lowest points on the table so even if they will scale through is gonna take them a lot of time to beat them but for now Lille may likely stay on the fourth position for a while because they will not face too much challenges on most of there coming matches, so for now considering the performance of Marseille and there points I think they will better off qualifying for the Europa League because there points is still low to compete with Lille, Nice and Lens on the champions League qualifier.

And vice versa with Monaco because if they are able to play consistently for some of the remaining matches then they will secure a ticket to the Champions League. Marseille will not be easy to catch up with the third standings because they are now seventh and the difference in points is also said to be a little further, more rational they struggle to qualify for the European League compared to the Champions League. Because Lille, Nice and Lens will definitely not allow a smooth road to Marseille.

Three clubs must be passed so that the chance of Marseille is far more unlikely to qualify for the Champions League through the League. And vice versa to become European League champions to qualify automatically to the Champions League and competition there is still quite competitive so Marseille must fight hard to take it from other teams that are much stronger. I think Marseille's chances of qualifying for the small Champions League because the opportunities that exist are not possible to be able to pursue.

Teams when a season start tend to show that they’re a good team whereas there’s no improvement at all in the team and they can’t be able to maintain the wins and get good records. A team that wants to maintain wins and get good records must learn how to invest greatly in the team. Investment comes as a form of recruiting key players for very key positions and also getting an experienced coach who can be able to build and work ok the key experienced players. Well this is what most small teams fail to get right and that’s why when they start the season well it’s always hard for them to keep up.

 This is the story of Nice whom many thought will be a big challenge to PSG. They started the season excellently and were even in top position but at a time slipped up and many thought they wouldn’t go beyond 3rd. Well right mow they’re lurking around 5th and it’s because they haven’t been able to get wins to help them come up the log. Brest who’re currently 2nd are having a better time than Nice and that’s evident because you can see how they’ve managed to remain unbeaten in over 13 games in the league so far. This is one characteristics of a serious team ready to fight for a good spot in the league.

 I also think Monaco has what it takes to overtake Brest and they’ll sure make it happen as I don’t see Brest being able to hold up for long. Monaco have got the quality and experience to overtake Brest and it’s sure of happening. Nice going to an European tournament would have to learn how to score goals because this is one major challenge of the squad as they’re defending greatly but having issues scoring the goals to get the wins and I think they need to work on that of they want to achieve anything.

With 14 games remaining of course all possibilities can happen including Marseille ending the season in the Champions League zone, Marseille biggest chance to go to the Champions League is still open if if they can consistently win and hope Monaco can drop points in their matches, currently Monaco is the 3rd team in Ligue 1 and Marseille has the closest distance to Monaco at the moment with only 6 points,  Although fairly close but still all possibilities can happen Lens, Lille and Nice are also eyeing the last ticket to the Champions League at this time, but actually the chances of the 4 teams to be in the Champions League next season are as great as Marseille, Lille, Lens and Nice will still meet in the next few weeks.

In addition to the league route, there is actually another way but it can be said to be more difficult for Marseille to be able to reach the Champions League next season, namely by winning the Europa League trophy this season because Marseille has so far still competed in the Europa League, and we all know that UEFA provides 1 automatic ticket to qualify for the Champions League if there is a team that wins the Europa League regardless of their position in the domestic league standings.

Absolutely true and that's what I've observed so far. Nice can only be strong defensively and when they score goals they are not as productive as other top teams. What's the point of being strong defensively but lacking goal contributions and in my opinion that will just be a time bomb where the team will experience bad results because there is no progress. Nice could only survive without putting forward proper competition and they were knocked out without realizing what they had gone through.

Second place will be a fierce struggle for Brest and Monaco because there is no team that can compete with PSG and at least these two teams will be guaranteed a place in the Champions League without having to go through the playoffs. I am happy to see healthy competition and also seeing competition with a difference that is not much different will make the league even more exciting. Lille, Nice and Lens may not give up yet and will be busy fighting for the top places.

I think Enrique should already think about alternatives because Mbappe seems determined to leave. If he's not going to go, the offer made to him must be like a dream. In this case, team dynamics are disrupted and unrest occurs among other players. If Mbappe behaves towards the players like the team owner, no one in the team can play the way they want. Mbappe is ultimately a football player and of course another player can fill his place.

Honestly yeah, I believe there is a chance for Marseille to make it to the Champions League. Because if you have noticed Lille, Nice and Lens all don't have a very good form recently. If these teams continue to show performances like this Marseille would capture a big opportunity to go for at least the fourth position which would take them to qualification phase in the Champions League. 

There are 10 more weeks to go. This means a potential 30 points but I'm not saying it like Marseille would win all of their remaining games.    But collecting a solid amount would be very useful for them.

I am also one of the people who hopes that Nice can compete after seeing at the start of the season that they were so tough and solid. However, I can't see this going forward because at the same time as the competition progresses they are also decreasing and even now they are in 5th position, down 4 places from the position they occupied at the start of the season.
Their biggest problem lies in their attack line which is not unproductive. I have to admit that their defense line is very solid, even now they are the team that has conceded the fewest goals, which proves that their defense is very good. However, in football everything must be balanced, they cannot have a solid defense but not be balanced by a sharp attack line, because the result will be the same. Because in football to win they have to create more goals than the opponent can score, and Nice can't do that. If only they had a very sharp attack line, I'm sure they would still be in first place, or at least they would be in second place. But now we see a quite striking decline that they are showing.

Brest is one of the flashiest teams of this season. We will probably have the chance to watch them in the championship league next year. The transfers they will make for next year will show their power level to all of us. It seems they are scoring very few goals. They win many matches 1-0. They have only scored 35 goals in the league so far and are in second place. However, they are very good in the defense area. They need to protect this.

A team like Nice will find it difficult to compete consistently in Ligue 1 from the start of the season to the end of the season because they often only play defensively and will try to maintain their lead if they are already leading 1-0 even though that is not a safe score at all and you can see the average on their match results were filled with low scores, making Nice the team in the top five with the fewest goals and also the fewest goals conceded, so slowly but surely they started to lose a lot of points and made their ranking drop.

Likewise with Brest, maybe they will stay in the top three to get tickets to play in the Champions League next season, but that is also because they are helped by the teams below them who appear inconsistent. This week Brest will face Lens and this will be a big match this week, this will be a match that is difficult to predict because both teams can be said to have the same strength, and in many meetings the two teams beat each other, but it could end in a draw.

Well teams now getting defeated and it’s not surprising especially as we’ve got injury worried now happening and hitting on teams this season. Having your major striker out on injury can be so worrying and it could lead to the team getting some disappointing result.This was the case for Lyon who tried to maintain their good score and winning ratio but were met with a disappointing result to Lens. Lens are on a run to getting an European qualification and this result is a big boost for them in this current  season

 As for Lyon, this match isn’t a big deal as there are still plenty matches and they can sure get good results to keep them safe in the Ligue 1. With their main striker back to the team, I think they’ll be running riots again and back on their feet.Comparing Lens to Lyon for this season is quite awkward as Lens is doing real better than Lyon this season as you can see how they’re placed in the league standings. Lyon isn’t really having a great season as they’re quite unstable and not having a great time in the league though they’re still considered to be safe in the league

 So that’s to say that the result from the match against Lens wasn’t a big surprise as Lens proves to be a better team coupled with the injury worry for Lyon. Lyon getting back to winning ways is what’s key as that could be their only saving grace out of relegation zone as they’re barely 5 points away. Not ranking the other teams, I think Lyon are well placed to still remain in the league and compete next season.
