When Pierre Sage took over the club after the sack of Fabio Grosso, I felt the academy coach lacked the experience to bring the bottom-placed Lyon out of the relegation zone. But he has proved everybody including me wrong. He has been able to bring them up to 11th position which is quite an impressive performance. The club has had three straight wins and they are looking forward to beating 17th-place Metz on Sunday. The addition of Gift Orban and Nemanja Matic really contributed to the success of the club but I cannot overlook the inputs of Alexandre Lacazette. The former Arsenal player has been a source of motivation to the younger players. Lyon finished 7th last season, maybe they can do better this season if they keep on winning this way.

I feel like Mbappe will have some trouble going to Real Madrid, I have been saying this for a while and people do not believe me but you will see. Mbappe wants to go there, that is certain and we all agree, but Real knows this as well so they will not offer him as much as what other clubs could offer.

We are going to see teams offer much more to him than what Real Madrid offers him, which could confuse him and by chance he may end up accepting offer from some other team as well. If Real Madrid offers way too little, there is a possibility that some other team could swoop in and take him. Plus, not like Real Madrid really "needs" him, they could find any decent striker and be fine, they are already quite good team at the moment anyway.

If we're taking about Lyon I don't think they're in any way close to winning any trophy even if they are it can't be achieved because their recent form can't grant them any trophy. We have different clubs in the Ligue 1 that can deliver no matter how bad they play but Lyon to me hasn't gotten that mojo or high spirit to battle for any trophy.
I just hope this position they (Lyon) are now won't slip off their hands because to me I don't see them having that consistency.

It will be an exciting victory for Lyon if they can beat Metz and at the same time create a winning streak of 5 matches in two different competitions. I think they have found what was lost all this time and this is all thanks to their continuous hard work. They have achieved victory after victory in the past month and visiting Metz headquarters should not be something difficult for them to win.

The meeting at the start of the season between these two teams only resulted in a draw and at that time Lyon experienced a setback so now is the right time for them to change their record of meetings with Metz. Seeing Lyon able to return to a higher position is very pleasing and they prove it is not over yet. Lyon has quite a gap to reach the European league and the key is to be consistent and hungry for wins which they must maintain. I hope Lyon can win with a difference of more than 2 goals and don't be like before, always winning narrowly because that is very dangerous for their chances of winning.

I remember Mbappe once heard him say that Real Madrid was his favorite club. I think that will be one of the factors that makes him able to play at Madrid. Of course Mbappe likes money. But it seemed like he wasn't just thinking about money. He should be able to go to the Arab League if he wants more money. I don't know why there isn't a single news linking it to the Arab League. And I just heard an issue circulating on social media which stated that Mbappe had agreed to a contract with Real Madrid.

Real Madrid are very smart in taking advantage of this moment for the players they like because on the one hand, Mbappe also really wants to be at Real Madrid in order to make a more stable career before he is really old. But currently PSG itself is also busy looking for a more suitable replacement for Mbappe's position next season because in the French League only PSG is often seen bringing in good players for its squad. Meanwhile, other teams do not have the ability to do this so they often always lose when facing PSG in Ligue1.

Ligue 1 has a very tight schedule from the middle of the table, despite the fact that Lyon is in 11th place, and this is mid-table, they are only three points away from Nantes, who are in the relegation zone, so Lyon have not yet secured themselves enough to feel calm. But it seems to me that there is no threat to drop much lower, they are playing well enough to finish this season without big problems and think about the next season.

With how they played in their last game I believe they're now ready to avoid that relegation zone completely because as of 3 months back they were sitting at the bottom but now things are getting better and I hope tonight's game would be more better than their last game with much goals to prove that they're really back to winning ways.
Metz are not that good and on paper Lyon are the favorite but I won't want to say it would be an easy game, these days those teams at the bottom likes acting up when we're getting the the concluding part of the season.
Tonight's encounter I'd say Lyon are coming out with a full force to get all 3pts but it won't be a clean sheet for the visitors, I'd go for a 1-3 win in favor of Lyon.

I was impress to see Lyon performance recently because they have strong mentally which makes Lyon was successfully to gets several the winning results in Ligue 1 and from those results too Lyon finally can able to avoiding relegation zone although their position is still not fully secured but at least Lyon opportunity to survive at Ligue 1 very wide open and today they want to resumes their winning streak with attempts to beat Metz and on the paper this is very possible to do so because Metz performance is very poor and since December Metz was never gets the winning results again

Lyon was done effective transfer this January because some of new players just like Gift Orban or Nemanja Matic can adapt quickly with Lyon and they also can makes Lyon is more solid now and all of those players which i mentioned above will be available today and they are in the good fitness however Lyon currently has gets 4 winning streak and the latest is they can able to win with narrow score from strong team Nice and today too i am quite confident Lyon can able to resumes their positive records and collect 3 points from Metz and for betting purposes Lyon has good odds @1.99

It is certain that Real Madrid will not buy Mbappe in the winter transfer market or this January because Mbappe at the end of the season will be a free transfer because his contract with PSG expires at the end of this season. if buy in January, have to spend money on the transfer fee which is certainly a large value. if wait until the end of the season, it is certainly a free transfer without the need to pay a transfer fee again.

Lyon has the opportunity to move up to 10th place against Metz who are currently in the relegation zone, currently Lyon have returned to quit well performance after dropping until relegation zone and success moving up to 11th standings awhile. Saying Kylian Mbappe is a player who loves money is not entirely true, at least if he is a player who loves money, of course he will accept the offer from the Saudi pro league and after that he can accept an offer from Real Madrid with lower pay but he has already earned more from one of the clubs in the Saudi pro league but he did not accept the fantastic offer.

I keep saying the same thing, the whole Mbappe to Real Madrid thing is not certain at all, and will not be certain. I get that most people expect that but Real Madrid can't afford to pay him anywhere near what he is getting paid right now. Considering Mbappe is known as a player who loves money, I do not think that they can have an agreement. Real will offer him something low, he will want something more, and they will try to find the middle and looks like it is going to be a tough situation.

I think it's clear that we are going to see Mbappe wanting more than what Real Madrid could ever afford. This leaves two options, either he will leave for a team that has a lot of money or he will stay even after all of this situation happened.

Regardless of the loopholes Osimhen faced for a few weeks with Napoli, he still found so much belief in them and he still more of the fan's favorite too. So the news of his contract extension was definitely soothing to the team and fans too. Now it's certain that they'd keep seeing and benefiting from his unique style of football.  Since Osimhen joined Napoli, he's been their key player and he's been doing his striking job perfectly without errors, even in times of emotional derailment from fans and the coach, he's still being able to keep his mind focused. He's in no wise the best thing that's happened to Napoli. He's the best addition to the team. Although Chelsea are having eyes on him but it's likely that Napoli won't let him slip without a very good replacement for him. His exit will place a threat to the teams performance subsequently and they may likely go back drastically. For Chelsea, he may not be able to cope immediately, he'd need time to blend and it's likely that the Chelsea pattern may not fit him. No doubt he's got the decision to make but he's got to weigh the options too considering that Chelsea can as well give him a whole new experience to football even though they're declining currently in their performance

Hopefully this will work for them since Marseille are desperate for a European competition spot, ideally a Champions League one but that sounds a bit difficult unless they progress rapidly with the new manager.
Ivory Coast wasn't impressive even though they won AFCON Cup, so I am a little bit sceptic about them.

For me it is for sure PSG that will win the league and maybe before 5 rounds as you said or even more!
The reward of 1% doesn't worth the hassle and for the other teams odds, they took on consideration the downtrend of teams especially Nice

they are already much worse. Although there are 3 months left until the end of the championship, and PSG will become the official champion approximately 5-6 rounds before the end. If you think about it from this point of view, 1% for two months is very good, but in fact few people are interested.
The fight for the two remaining spots in the Champions League between four teams looks much more interesting. Brest is a logical favorite, but for some reason Monaco is rated better than Nice and Lille, which in my opinion is simply a reflection of the “strength” of the brand and not the real strength of the game.
