It can be said that Mbappe's move to Real next season will definitely happen. This is because the peak of a footballer's career is playing for Real Madrid. This wasn’t so in time past as in this league we’ve got great teams like Lyon, Lile, Monaco.Well investment weren’t done in these teams and PSG had proper investment that’s why they keep bagging this league season in and out. This reason makes the league look so cheap as there’s no heavy competition for PSG.We rather see a competition between teams to battle it out for European spot as that’s what they feel is major success to them. Well looking at a team like Lyon at the beginning of the season, one will think nothing will be able to come out of them.

 They had everything wrong as they were wallowing around the relegation zone of the league. They had some crazy results which were nothing to write home about and it got most of the fans worried. The club made some changes and they proved effective as you can see the club’s level now. Currently, the club seats at the 11th spot on the log and have a chance of going 10th if they get the win over Metz this weekend. As I earlier predicted after the first half for Lyon to win due to their level of good performance they have taken the league now and feom all indications it's going to be another win for them and this timw from away. This recent performance is no longer surprising to me as the team will still get to first 7th or 8th in the leagu tables before the end of the season yea I think they can do that becase right now they are playing very well and getting the points  that's what they need.

Until recently Lyon had one of the worse performance in the Ligue 1 this season, they literally had to struggle out of relegation and are now doing so well, their performance at the beginning of this season was so tribal the fel back to the relegation side of the table but then they managed not to be at the bottom of the table because at that point it will be more difficult to get out nod relegation.

Even with this current good form Lyon seem to have picked I don't think they will be able to defend inter Milan if they get to meet I'm the nearest future and they may aswell not be able to get to the top of the table and they will try to finish at a good position but not at the top of the table because they are not looking like they can get that far as they don't have time, they season is already far gone and they got back in form almost late, Lyon has done well for their self and would see it as even a much greater achievement if they are able to get to top four.

Despite conceeding an early goal in the 13th minute Lyon was able to maintain their decent performance, dominating the home team in possession and attempt until Alexandre Lacazette got an equalizer goal for his team before the half time flag was signalled. With the current performance of Lyon in this match I have no doubt of them taking the three points from away because they are really the better side in the match as they are playing better, they are putting more pressure on getting goals despite scoring just one but hopefully in the second half of the game they can get more goals to win the game and always increase their chances of moving up to 10th position in the league standing.

Actually the chance is still very much there for Madrid to spend money because we must be aware that PSG will also not be too stupid to let Mbappe leave for free while the value of Mbappe is more than 100 million so this depends on how clever and strategic is done in the end to make Mbappe an advantage for Madrid or PSG.
I am still convinced that there will be new drama ahead of their summer transfer at the end of the season because if we talk about winter transfers now it is certain that PSG will not release Mbappe but for the end of the season there will definitely be new drama just like last season but indeed the chance for Mbappe to leave is still very high.

Even if I agree that the Ligue 1 is competitive, I definitely do not believe that the competition for the title race is competitive. Because every season it looks like an easy grab for PSG. So I refuse to believe that this title race is competitive. And when the title race of a league is not competitive, the league generally loses attraction. So I believe it is not a very bad statement to actually say that the league is not very competitive.

I have to say In this non-competitive environment, it is hard for even a player like Mbappe to actually shine.
Maybe he is able to do a lot of things.
Maybe he is the best player in the world right now.
But in a non-competitive environment, even he will not be able to achieve things to the extent that he should have.

Isn't this a far too optimistic view when you see that there is only a 3 points gap between Olympique Lyon and Montpellier, Lorient and Nantes? You are talking as if they were far out of the danger zone and would have no reason to think they would still be fighting against the relegation zone, but the truth is that they are still in the middle of the relegation zone competition. They are having an uptrend at the moment and they had one a while ago which then came to an end. This can happen again and the goal still must be to extend the winning streak or to at least win a high number of the remaining games.

It is quite deceiving when you look at the table now because it looks as if they had a big advantage and are far away from the relegation zone, but they are not. If they lose some of the games with their direct competitors from the bottom of the table, things could turn ugly in no time again.

Because Metz is still in the relegation zone then ya, it is clear that Metz did not have impressive results in the matches they played so far . So ya, of course these factors will make Lyon again have a very good chance of getting full points in this match and entering the top 10 overtaking Strasbourg because after all, currently Lyon and Strasbourg have the same points with 25 points .
