No but I doubt that they have PSG or Nice on their minds when they have a stable rank in the middle of the table. I believe that they focus from game to game and then see what is possible for them when the end of the season is approaching. They will most likely not make any rushed predictions or contemplate season goals and communicate them when they know that it is not realistic as of now to reach out for one of the biggest goals. But if they want to make it into the qualification for some European competition, I think that they have all chances to do that. Nice could have a weak time and some other teams as well and then they need to be ready.
Every clubs tends to becomes ready to face their challenges this season. The European competition are for serious clubs that have the potentials to win matches without having to fight to win a spot. Seasons goals of these clubs have grown to become one of the ultimate targets, winning it without stressing out their plans or tactics. Paris Saint-Germain dominates the league table and they have a threat, a club that's ready to levelled points with them, Nice have become a close contender for the the Ligue One title this season. No, I would bet a house on Nice having no chance against PSG over the course of 38 matches. Nice was efficient when it comes to results, but that is not sustainable when you score only one goal on average per game. It is all nice when it is enough to win most of the games in the early season, but for how long will it work that an average of one goal brings you the number of wins and draws, the number of total points to beat PSG after 38 games and win the title?
Nice can definitely have no chance against a team like PSG to win the French League, however currently PSG and Nice are racing closely for the title and Nice is the only competitor they can have because currently Nicve has 29 points and PSG has 33 points which means they are not close enough to make troubles for PSG and in the other hand PSG with Enrique is getting in the good form. But still, there is the chance for the French League to change everything and PSG faces some problems to lose their current condition.

Ligue One is tough, everyone knows that. PSG will defend their title this season and it might likely end in Parc des Princes stadium once again. When an elite club have one of the best players, it boosts their chances of winning matches and competitive in major titles. Nice was ontop but lost their standings and now they're currently behind Paris Saint-Germain. I don't think they will be able to find any solid opportunity to surpassed Les Parisiens ever again this season, there's no prominent chances to top other than hoping for PSG to decline in performance this season.
Personally I don't consider Ligue 1 to be as tough as you may be seeing it to be, rather I feel it's an average league, PSG happens to be one of the team that brings the competition to Ligue 1, so far this season there has been no epic or intriguing moments in the ligue 1 but rather it has been filled with mostly average performance.Nice has at some point try to be a strong contender against the defending champions but then like usual, the regular dominators which happens to be PSG is now back at the top and wanting to defend their title, this season the Ligue 1 has appeared more like an upcoming league in Europe and the few elite teams amongst they seem to focus more of their best performance outside the Ligue 1 probably to further gain recognition on bigger platforms

Lens is only 4 points away from Lille and if they win it will certainly shorten the gap even further. On the other hand, I think Reims will also experience problems this week because they have to play Nice, who lost points last week. Yes, although it can be said that change cannot be instantaneous but it does need to be done in various ways so that they are not eliminated this season, if it requires motivation, it can be used as a motivation for them to burn their enthusiasm again to continue to survive in league 1, and I think Lyon still has enough time to build its strength again, considering the new league trip until the midway session.

The France league is not easy at all, every club on guide because they wouldn't want to messed their chances of winning. Nice can be considered underrated this season because they're not enlisted among the big boys but one shouldn't be surprise to watch the exact same club will become the first club to surpassed Paris Saint Germain on the table If Luis Enrique men fluctuate in performance in matches. It is very sad to see Lyon losing every game while this club was actually a top club in the previous season but this season experienced a very deep decline in performance and almost did not have the strength to recover from its bad performance and Lyon's last chance this time was only in the transfer market when it reopens and at that time if Lyon fails again in its efforts to escape relegation there will be no more hope for Lyon and fans will be sad to see Lyon current condition.

At this point, I am pretty sure that the players are also also pretty disheartened by the fact that they are at the absolute bottom of the table. It will be really hard to motivate them.
Yes, I also agree that they are probably not going to escape the relegations zone. The main target of the team right now should be to somehow avoid relegation at the end of the season. They should look to get at least one point from matches from now on.

So if they really want to change and save themselves, there is still enough time in my opinion, including getting new players next month and maybe new management to be more reliable, it's too surprising if they change to this bad.
