I highly doubt that this is correct. There are a couple of teams wealthy enough or soon to be wealthy enough to afford Mbappe. It is still not necessarily about the highest bidder. I think it does depend on what Mbappe envisions for himself while making a ton of money of course. But Real Madrid, Manchester City and also Liverpool if they sell Salah, these clubs could be financially strong enough to cope with an Mbappe deal both in terms of the transfer fee and also the salary.
