For me, Marseille has honestly been very inconsistent. And they cannot expect to go up through the table with having such inconsistency. They have been able to win two matches in a row. But I highly doubt that they are going to be able to continue performing like this. I am pretty sure that they are going to lose another match in the upcoming three matches. Of course, if they are able to perform consistently, they are going to go up through the table. And I don't think at this moment there is any comparison between them and Nice. Because Nice is performing really well. even though they have lost their last match, they are far more consistent.
dont worry Marseille is not a small team but this is one of the popular teams in league one and there are still a lot of changes after getting players from transfer market later and in my opinion if you compare Marseille with Nice it very different because Marseille is a more popular team and Nice is just in a state lucky to reach the top of the standings and it is too early for Nice to enter the top 3 of the standings unless you compare Marseille with Monaco maybe it would be fairer because Monaco had experience at the top of the standings several seasons ago while Nice did not come from the top of the standings.

Indeed, nothing is impossible but for me Nice current position will only be temporary and at the end the season you will see Nice decline again.

There is one match that will take place today and it will pit Brest against Strasbourg. Statistically, these two teams are quite different and Brest has won the last 5 matches. Meanwhile, Strasbourg have not won in the last 5 matches and I think Brest will be favored to win this match. Apart from being the host, H2H statistics also note that Strasbourg is still a fairly strong opponent for Brest and it is possible that this result will
continue in this match.

From what I see, the difference in performance between these two teams is not very big, see:

in the last 5 games Brest only won 2 games, it is true that they are coming to this game with 2 consecutive victories and that is a good thing, especially when their opponent comes to this game without winning 5 games, but it is necessary to have Be very careful when placing Brest as a team that would have a lot of advantage in winning this game, because Strasbourg in the last 5 games had 3 draws, so a draw in this game would not be a surprise, at the moment I write this post, Brest is winning the game, they scored 1 goal in the 1 half, if they can defend themselves well, then they can win the game, mainly because I see Strasbourg's attack as very weak, just see that in the last 5 games Strasbourg hardly managed to score 2 goals in some game

So are you interested in betting on this match? and who do you think will win?

I won't place a bet on this game, but my guess is that Brestois will win this game, they have a team with better performance compared to their opponent who has been in crisis in the last few games, and has had great difficulty scoring goals in the last 5 games they were unable to win in any game and had 3 draws thanks to their defense, so when I see this opponent with a very weak performance and I see Brestoin coming from two victories, then I see Brestoin coming out with victory in this game, in the worst scenario I'm serious that Brestois will leave with a draw, but I highly doubt that Brestois will leave this game with a defeat

Unfortunately the result was a 1-1 draw and fortunately we both did not place bets on this match. In fact, Brest really dominated the game with 61% ball possession, but in terms of opportunities, Strasbourg did have better statistics because they shot on target at least 5 times. Even though in general, we thought Brest would win and they actually took the lead, but towards the final minute of the match Strasbourg managed to score the equalizer.

Of course, none of us thought that the match would end in a draw because it was possible that Strasbourg would win according to H2H statistics. This draw meant that Brest failed to shift Lens' position and Strasbourg only had a slight advantage before the other teams this week were able to shift their position again.

They need decent players in the January transfer market, otherwise they will be very difficult to rise, this is dangerous if Lyon continues to be in the relegation zone, it could make them out of the league this season, but whether they are rich enough to buy good players later in January, that is the big question.

And the second problem is the improvisation of coaches and players I think there are many misses, thus causing the team to not be able to adapt to the development of the league that is getting better the competitors it affects also in my opinion, if in rethinking whether they need a new coach who is more competent to compete in the league!
Giving sentiments to the board, Lyon coach, Jean-François Vulliez should be sacked with immediate effects. A competitive league has little opportunity for plodding clubs, and Lyon is one of those clubs making excuses for their incompetent performance this season. Lyonnias numerical values, 1W 4D 9L this season, a terrible start determines the club's future, and they're now finding harder and harder to catch up with the major teams this season. What else should we be concerned about when it's evident that Olympique Lyon will not escape the relegation zone, despite being the lowest-ranked club in Ligue One?
I do agree with that, he is not doing a great job and we all know that the team could do better without him without a doubt. I get that people may feel like the team is not good enough and that is why he could be considered innocent for losing this many games with a team not that great, but I believe that we are going to end up with a result that would be much better if they can find a better manager. I understand that may not be all that crazy, but it is in the end something that will benefit them one way or another if they know what they are doing.

This is why it is quite important to remember that we are going to end up with a result that should be beneficial to them. This is not that easy to handle of course, but that could not be something that would be all that important. Just fire him, get someone else, and they are going to e be doing fine in the end without a doubt, that is definitely the situation they are going to be in if they make a switch.

Lyon has the least number of wins and maximum number of losses so far out of any team in this season.  A team that was performing pretty well, even in the last season is somehow performing really bad in this season. And it looks like nothing will actually be able to get them back in winning ways. it will be really hard for them to actually get out of the relegation zone anytime soon. If they are able to get out of the relegation zone in the end, it is definitely going to be a good performance from them. but I highly doubt that they will actually be able to do it. At least the way they are performing right now, I don't see them being able to get out of the relegation zone. And yes, some strong action is needed to be taken.

Former champion Lyon is now in relegation and it doesn't look like their situation will ever recover. This team has been champion in this league for years in a row. Serious transfers are required between the seasons for the team to get back on its feet.

It was Aubameyang's night in Marseille. Most of the share in the victory belonged to him, he was able to score 2 assists and 1 goal in 90 minutes. A very experienced striker showed no mercy to Lyon that night. If they continue like this, I think Lyon could break new ground.
Streak losses have become the orders of the day for Lyon. There is no need to fight anymore because all hope appears to be lost at the time; they can fight while having no evidence. Lyon triggered this because I see no reason why they will desist in performance and try to hook up their very best again, most likely when there is no margin. Whose teams would want to move downward currently, when everyone continues to compete for major slots, and while those that don't stand in equilibrium would fight for their main spot to stay in the Ligue One campaign?

Nice can definitely have no chance against a team like PSG to win the French League, however currently PSG and Nice are racing closely for the title and Nice is the only competitor they can have because currently Nicve has 29 points and PSG has 33 points which means they are not close enough to make troubles for PSG and in the other hand PSG with Enrique is getting in the good form. But still, there is the chance for the French League to change everything and PSG faces some problems to lose their current condition.
The France league is not easy at all, every club on guide because they wouldn't want to messed their chances of winning. Nice can be considered underrated this season because they're not enlisted among the big boys but one shouldn't be surprise to watch the exact same club will become the first club to surpassed Paris Saint Germain on the table If Luis Enrique men fluctuate in performance in matches. They have to give Nice a good relevant points gap because I'm aware the same hyped PSG are not in form and any moment from now, they will record poor performance and results.

Every clubs tends to becomes ready to face their challenges this season. The European competition are for serious clubs that have the potentials to win matches without having to fight to win a spot. Seasons goals of these clubs have grown to become one of the ultimate targets, winning it without stressing out their plans or tactics. Paris Saint-Germain dominates the league table and they have a threat, a club that's ready to levelled points with them, Nice have become a close contender for the the Ligue One title this season.

No, I would bet a house on Nice having no chance against PSG over the course of 38 matches. Nice was efficient when it comes to results, but that is not sustainable when you score only one goal on average per game. It is all nice when it is enough to win most of the games in the early season, but for how long will it work that an average of one goal brings you the number of wins and draws, the number of total points to beat PSG after 38 games and win the title? Wink

Not so many excellent players have made it so well as coaches and Patrick Vieira is one of them. These players turn coaches ae excellent when it comes to building young talents but there’s always a coma when they need to get excellent results from the team they coach, Strasbourg has some youngsters that has gotten the attention of some top clubs in Europe but yet the team performa woefully and have a very bad form in the league.

Now Brest who faces strasbourg over the weekend will be going all out for 3 points and it’s very quite possible because they’ve better chance, but for this match I think it’ll end in a draw with both teams sharing points and yes an Under 2.5 is a nice option to bet on.

And yes, the match in the end was a draw according to what you said. and as I predicted, the safe option in betting is the Under 2.5 goals option with odds @1.71. referring to match statistics, Brest dominated with 61% ball possession, 13 total shots, 3 shots on target, 1 big chance, and one goal which was converted into a goal. From a tactical and technical perspective, Brest is much better than Patrick Vieira's squad. superior in the first half, they were unable to maintain it until the match was over. In fact, Brest didn't score any more goals until the final whistle ended.

Meanwhile, Strasbourg, this team plays a little more waiting and defending. I mean, they usually only counterattack. But in terms of opportunities, Strasbourg is better than the home team. Of the 9 total shots, 5 were on target, 2 were big opportunities, and one was converted into a goal. in the end, the match ended 1-1. and as I had previously expected, I really know the style of play and system used by Patrick Vieira. What Patrick Vieira implemented was not much different from when he coached the English team, namely Crystal Palace. So, in the end both teams have to share 1 point equally. At least, Strasbourg moved up the rankings to a safer zone even though it was temporary. and our predictions, according to the final results.

No but I doubt that they have PSG or Nice on their minds when they have a stable rank in the middle of the table. I believe that they focus from game to game and then see what is possible for them when the end of the season is approaching. They will most likely not make any rushed predictions or contemplate season goals and communicate them when they know that it is not realistic as of now to reach out for one of the biggest goals. But if they want to make it into the qualification for some European competition, I think that they have all chances to do that. Nice could have a weak time and some other teams as well and then they need to be ready.

Patrick Vieira is one of the former Arsenal players who I really admire, unfortunately his coaching career was not as great as when he was still a player. Currently, he is the head coach of Strasbourg. In his 13 matches with his squad, he was only able to bring 3 wins, 4 draws and 6 matches with defeat. Now, Strasbourg's position is in an unsafe situation. If Strasbourg lose the match against Brest, it means their position will remain in 15th place.

Meanwhile Brest, is in 7th place in the Ligue 1 standings. Full points, will be their target in this match in order to shift the position of Lens and Reims, who are only narrowly separated by points. So, it would be very natural if Brest were favored in this match. Plus, they play matches in front of their own supporters. However, if I refer to the H2H meetings between these two teams, Brest always finds it difficult to win the match when they meet Strasbourg. However, in the final meeting last season, Eric Roy's squad was able to win narrowly when they visited Strasbourg. Likewise, if we refer to the last 5 matches between these two teams, Brest won the last 2 matches. and while Strasbourg did not win once in its 5 matches.

Referring to the odds provided by the bookie, Brest with @1.73 and the opposing team with @4.90. there are quite obvious differences, based on the available odds. In my estimation, this match will be quite tough. I won't bet, but based on considerations, this match can be won by Patrick Vieira's squad. Likewise with the odds on offer, it's a little tempting. however, it would be ideal to bet on Under 2.5 goals at odds of 1.71.

Lyon is going to take a lot of time to improve. Then improvement is not going to be instant. And at the same time, changes need to be made. This was definitely very unexpected. This team was supposed to be one of the top teams in this league. But the performance from them literally nosedived. At this point, I am pretty sure that the players are also also pretty disheartened by the fact that they are at the absolute bottom of the table. It will be really hard to motivate them.

The problem is that they have to do that quickly because if not then they will continue to stay at the bottom and not be able to restore the situation where Lyon must get out of the relegation zone at this time.

They have won just once in 14 encounters in what is clearly the worst season for Lyon in the few seasons they have been in Ligue 1.
They are one that can be considered big but with the current situation they are very much at the bottom of the table which makes this a bit scary.
Losing to Marseille quite conspicuously makes them even more demotivated it seems and currently Lyon is one of the worst clubs in defense where they are always a goal barn for the opponents they face.

Marseille has 10 points more than Lyon in the same number of matches, which proves that Marseille's performance is much better than Lyon this season. It is doubtful that Lyon can win this match or even draw, Lyon are in a slump and they are struggling to find their form again.

After all, Marseille is playing at home and they are the favorites to win based on the odds. I'm not sure Lyon can stop Marseille, but still the result of the match will be difficult to predict. Something is never certain in a match before the final whistle sounds to signal the end of the match. Of course, we'll just have to wait and see what will happen in this match, even though Lyon probably can't expect much.
But for now I don't see anything that can be a favourite that Marseille can win easily in this match.
Not that Lyon is good because they are playing very badly this season it's just that Marseille is also very far from the form they showed last season.
Marseille again managed to win 3 point last week after a series of unsatisfactory results they got and now they are playing with Lyon's pain club.
The big chance for Marseille's victory in this match is clearly visible especially they will play at home, its just that I won't make any bets because the chance of a draw is also still very big for them.

As I said in the quote above, Lyon couldn't expect much because in the end Marseille managed to take advantage of their home advantage to win the match. My prediction was correct, as were other users' predictions, especially if they thought Marseille were the favorites.

Lyon certainly tried to give their best resistance in that match, but Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's impressive performance was very difficult to stop. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang recorded 2 assists and 1 goal in that match, and of course this destroyed all the plans that Lyon had built. It cannot be denied, maybe next season Lyon will not be in Ligue 1 because they will be relegated, although now it is not too late to fix everything.

There has already been some improvement in Aubameyang's performance recently. That hat-trick against Ajax must have improved his morale a lot before anything else. By this great performance in the Lyon game as well he has increased his streak of scoring at least one goal to three games. 1 goal and 2 assists were enough to make him the man of the match.

PSG's next game is against Nantes home. I see another comfortable win for them already. Nice have a home game against Reims on the other hand. I think Nice's job is quite difficult and they might lose two points. Their streak of not losing a game in the league lasted 13 games by the way.  Smiley

Asides the goal scored last night, he made the right decisions made the right run and was a better and beautiful teammate to him squad.
This is another Improved performance since he both left Arsenal, and Chelsea. Thomas Tuchel sack affected Per Emerick Aubameyang, otherwise he would have been with Chelsea maybe ( That's a doubt ). Chelsea management never gave enough chance to Thomas Tuchel. This is the coach that won them the Champions League no?

Per Emerick Aubameyang now has five goals in Europa League and the same for themselves. He has also contributed three goals and assist.

Brest take on Ligue 1 Strasbourg at the Stade Francis-Le Ble today. It looks like Brest will have home advantage after winning their last two matches and will be keen to continue their winning streak. Strasbourg, on the other hand, have struggled with form and injuries, and are winless in their last five matches. With Brest's recent success and their historic advantage against Strasbourg at home, the odds seem to be in their favor. Brest will be desperate to secure their victory in the battle for a top five finish. However, Strasbourg will be  try to prove themselves and bounce back from recent form. I think Brest can beat Strasbourg 2-1.

Marseille I currently in the middle of the French League table and there is not any hope for them to race with other teams like PSG and Nice at the top side of the table, also this team is far from the danger zone and I think winning the game against Lyon was very much predicting for Marseille because Lyon was always in the bad situation during this season. This could be awesome for this team if the Saudis really buy the team as we heard rumors about them making some changes there.

Marseille is a strong team so it is natural that Lyon cannot recover in this match.
Lyon this season is quite surprising, now they are at the bottom of the standings, so if you look at this team's journey since the start of the season then there is no good chance of them being able to recover unless this team improves on a large scale by bringing in new players in the January transfer market. , otherwise I think it would be almost impossible for them to rise.
Marseille isn't a completely strong team, I would rather place them amongst the average team in the Ligue 1, but playing against Lyon they did appear like a team they should be considered strong because they are playing against a considerably weak team who has not been doing well entirely in the Ligue 1 this season.

I wasn't expecting any less from Marseille neither was I expecting more from Lyon because some how the strength of both teams were obviously clear even before the match begun and Lyon has continued with their struggle at the bottom of the table keeping them very pron to relegation by the end of the season, especially if it runs out they are unable to get above the bottom position on the table. Their only chance to get pass relegation will be a drastic series of improvement which will be accompanied by a minimum of winning four of five games and this can be possible if they make good use of the January transfer window well enough.

This is not that easy to handle of course, but that could not be something that would be all that important. Just fire him, get someone else, and they are going to e be doing fine in the end without a doubt, that is definitely the situation they are going to be in if they make a switch.
