The weakness of teams like Psg-Monaco-Marseille in general is that they are in a league like Ligue 1 where there is a rigid defense. In a league like the Premier League, where the game is constantly flowing, the team in form is challenging every team and the quality of the league is very important. This is why the French have not been successful in Europe. Their league is very static and even the bottom teams in the premier league are very strong. The Spanish solve it with technique. Italians solve it with rationality and defense from time to time. But in France there is no clear football culture. It's always been like this. PSG has everything except for a sufficiently competitive league. When we have a look at Champions League winners from the past and what their competitive environment was throughout the year, I think the chances for PSG to win it is the lowest as they are amassing superstars which then have only a few games in which they are maximally challenged. This season I think the Champions League dream is almost over after the devastating loss against Newcastle. They are still in the game of course due to their win against Borussia Dortmund, but the team didn't look strong enough such that I would think they could also beat the best teams in the competition.

I don't think this is the first time PSG has lost points against a team that played defensively throughout the match and used counter-attacks to score goals. PSG were held to draws by Toulouse, Lorient, and Clermont, PSG lost to Nice and Newcastle and all of them are defense-focused teams. PSG dominated all those games, but they lost and dropped points due to a draw. This is the impact of Luis Enrique's high ball possession strategy, but perhaps this strategy has not been adaptive enough at PSG so far.

Luis Enrique must improve the defense and midfield, this is a weakness they have had this season. There are seasons where PSG just resets itself and this could be one of those seasons, and that's fine because it allows them to shed the old skin and get a new one and be more powerful.

I think it was just a few years ago when Lille won the league, that year PSG decided to get better and got Messi for example. They are not paying anyone all that much money, the amount of money they paid to Messi and Neymar combined for their salary was insane, if they also get rid of Mbappe, who at this point is a headache more than help, the amount of money they have will be insane. They could use that to get a lot more players and make every single position better than what it is right now.

This is why they are just trying to make this season go by as fast as possible and if they are right then they are going to be doing fine. It should be helpful for them and it could result with something that will benefit them on the long run without a doubt. I personally believe they will do fine for sure.

No doubt PSG having one of the worst start of this season with three draws and one defeat from their first seven matches and only 12 points which keeping them at fifth spot but their recent humiliating defeat against Newcastle United create more problems for them and with this look like they need to change their strategy because if they keep going like this surely things could be can go into the worst way for them now they are going to face Rennes which is having no defeat in last seven games and at home they are giving impressive result but still PSG can steal the show and have good start after this big defeat because if they are not able to do these things could be in wrong way for them Mbappé performance is also going down with few new players are also not able to give their best as it's needed.

They may not really be laughing but I think the current situation of PSG at the moment have draged attention to them and they are currently under watch by many others including speculator, looking for possible opportunity to predict the next possible event that will be happening within the team, there will be possible movements by some players especially kylian mbappe who most focus has been directed towards him on his next possible move.

I am of the same opinion as you regarding how the management has been treating their players recently, it's possible they may loose some of them in the nearest future if measures are not taking to give better treatment to their players, if mbappe leaves it will definitely have a great effect on the team as they will be affected in their style bof play as most times there can be dependency on him by the team.

But then they still have just this season before their possible down fall if they don get new good signings and fix the issues from the management so as to create a good and enabling atmosphere for players to thrive and produce desired results for the team and the fans and retain their formal status as the french giant and also in other possible leagues.

Actually,  PSG have four matches left in UEFA Champion League for qualifying to the next round and last defeated from Newcastle United not close an opportunity for qualifying from group stage. Luis Henrique still have chance for improving PSG performance upcoming four matches left and potential get full points actually when playing at home. PSG have bad start in this season not only with domestic league but also in Champion League can't have 100% winning trend.

It seems that one of the factors for PSG's current poor results maybr still involve the coach too, because it seems that Enrique also does not have a good effort to be able to improve PSG's performance. After all, at this moment PSG still has Mbappe as a player who has great potential but yes, in reality Enrique still cannot maximize that potential. I agree, current PSG situation with their main problem is after spending huge funds and having many star players they are still not able to win anything outside France which mean bad-luck is not leaving them and luck is not joining them for last few years with this all they need to keep things at positive way and now give good time to Luis Enrique is also good if they want to have better things in coming years he is man which can give them better results in long run with his strategy and experience, but he surely needs more favor from the management and players as well for this all.

Honestly, I don't want to give a negative perspective regarding PSG. in fact, we reviewed it last season. and, this is the difference between PSG management and Manchester City management. Let's flashback first, these two clubs are both owned by rich sultans from the Middle East. however, City were handled much better. Everyone involved in their management is filled with competent people. In fact, the City owner did not take part in recruiting, lobbying, or anything related to bringing in new arrivals. Everything has been handled by competent parties, including always involving coaches in every arrival of the players they are targeting. even then, Pep needed time until he brought TheCitizen to its peak by winning the treble winner. Pep has a big role in bringing in or selecting the players he wants.

Different from PSG, Nasser Al-Khelaifi has a project with mega stars. Unfortunately, they failed to win the highest caste league trophy. PSG should have been handled by a coach who had a proven track record and was ready to handle its star players in the dressing room. Plus, it's a shame that several previous coaches were not given the right to bring in newcomers according to their wishes. and that's what PSG did, before Enrique became head coach. Even then, PSG had brought in several players before Enrique officially became PSG coach.

As for the bad results achieved by PSG, I think that's very natural, after all, Enrique has just served as coach of this team. at the very least, it requires adapting to the system and the players available. However, PSG still needs several additional players. the defeat against Newctle and the draw against Clemont, will not dwarf them. After all, there is still a chance in other matches. Come on, before we judge too much, let's give Enrique and his squad a chance.

Overall, everyone involved in the club is responsible for PSG performance, the only difference is the big and small role played by each person in it. It is true that PSG has all the attributes needed to make things go according to expectations, but luck has not yet come to them and bad luck has not left them. But if Mbappe greatness only stops here in League 1 it would be a shame and he needs to leave PSG to at least be able to have the UCL title he has never won.
In the future in the next few seasons if it continues like this PSG chances of winning the UCL will also be very difficult even Mbappe existence will be in vain if he decides to agree to contract extension with PSG.

I actually think that if Mbappe plays in England for Manchester City it will be disaster for every team in the Premier League and also the UCL because Manchester City will be filled with very dangerous players and of course they can have the upper hand in being the strongest in several seasons.
Imagine that on the front line there are Mbappe and Haaland then Manchester City will definitely get goals in succession but there were rumors circulating that Pep Guardiola was not really interested in bringing Mbappe from PSG.

We seem to have the same thoughts about Paris Saint Germain. Is it the fault of the management? Yes, I would say so, because they have access to make things better or worse for Paris Saint Germain. I don't see the assertiveness of the management to make this club the best it can be. They have the money, they have the star players, they also have the ability to bring in other star players, but they can't make the club go in a better direction.  I think they need to do a massive overhaul and rebuild the club from the ground up.

Mbappe is still young and it would be a shame if he only got a domestic league title in Ligue 1, I think it's time for him to determine his future to be able to get other titles such as the UCL to boost the popularity of his name, he has to find the right club, it seems PSG is not very convincing in UCL after yesterday's defeat against Newcastle so that will end Mbappe's dreams again this season.

I think Mbappe has repaid all of PSG's kindness towards him so there is no need to think anymore that PSG is the club that raised him so he has to do something to repay that, Mbappe deserves a good club to be able to get lots of titles next season. everyone is definitely waiting for confirmation about his future with a club other than PSG. what many people hope for is Madrid.
