The first of the matches I'm looking forward to next match week will be Nice vs Marseille. Nice have made a good start to the season and are undefeated in 8 games. I think they can be one of the title contenders while doing so well. A possible win against Marseille could give them more confidence. Of course, they are behind teams like PSG and Monaco in terms of scoring goals, but I would like to underline that they are the only team without a defeat yet. Since Marseille will also focus on European games, it seems likely that Nice will win this match.

PSG's victory yesterday brought them up to 3rd position from previously being in 5th position. I think they took advantage of the opportunity well because before the Rennes vs PSG match started, Brest was only able to draw against Toulouse so PSG could be more motivated to win the match. This is an important momentum for PSG to immediately return to the top of the standings and any less good results from their rival teams will be put to good use by them. Now PSG still have other work to do because their difference from Monaco is 2 points and with Monaco's consistency PSG might need more time but it doesn't rule out the possibility that it could be faster if Monaco loses concentration to maintain their position.

In terms of scheme and possession of the ball they are not lacking because PSG still always dominates in every match they do, it's just that the final solution still cannot be said to be good. They still need to maintain the chemistry of the players for this because sometimes poor finishing occurs because their attack line is not yet integrated.

Currently, from the ball control they still don't have any problems because they are still playing the same and their ball possession is good as usual, it's just that this is still lacking because the attack line is not yet integrated which makes opportunities wasted.
Now Enrique only has to fix the existing gaps so that PSG returns to a good path and has good consistency in the competitions they are still participating in.

PSG might be using the wrong strategy. PSG puts mbappe to play behind the striker which not become his favorit position. Enrique was adding ramos to play upfront against newcastle. The different strategy used by PSG once the club was facing rennes in the league 1. Rennes can do nothing in this match even though PSG had really bad record against rennes away. PSG was putting mbappe to play as left winger against rennes which was impressing anyone.
Enrique needs to understand never try to put the player out from his actual position or it will be only giving negative impact for the club. I think that enrique shall try to stop to do more experiments with his club.
Mbappe needs to play as a winger to ensure his effectivity against its opponent. Mbappe can move freely once he will able to stay at the left winger position.
Enrique needs to understand him even deeper. Mbappe is very good as a winger instead of attacking midfielder or striker.
Putting Mbappé at the wrong position is not helping the team and I wonder why Enrique is causing more problems for himself by doing that, the strategy he's using is not working and instead of carrying out several trials of same thing that's not favorable the team, it would be better the adjust to a more better strategy the player would be able to adapt fast into, because all this trials he doing have cost them several Matches, he's putting his managerial career at PSG in a risk.Enrique needs to understand never try to put the player out from his actual position or it will be only giving negative impact for the club. If you position your players in the rightful position they'll do well and produce a better result in the game and a talent player like Mbappé would really perform better at his preferred roal, if you notice he's scored more when he's played on the flank than when he's playing the role of the supporting strike, instead he could even try Mbappé as the main attacker.

PSG in recent times have not been outstanding as they used to be in the Ligue 1 previously, they have a slight decline in performance recently which somehow has been blamed on the signing done this season but then I think these players have gotten almost enough time to prove how good they can be, which they have proven slightly but their position in the standing is becoming disturbing as they are not making significant progress.
The loss in the UCL against Newcastle wouldn't be considered a worse one because Newcastle isn't a weak team as they are also tops in the EPl, so they were a strong team enough to put up a good opposition against PSG even tho PSG didn't perform maximally at the UCL, Newcastle was even playing from home, which was a good boost for their morale and just before the UCL games they had a most recent win against Burnley, so they had the best boost needed and they were most likely in their best form, so it was possible they got such victory meanwhile PSG had the opposite experience.

I don't expect much from them in Champions League and I hesitate to support them this season for the Ligue 1 title except that I am sure their rivals aren't that good to maintain their top ranks. I mean if PSG get the title then it is thanks to the failure of their opponents and not because they are excellent.
But this is enough - to be better than your opponents. Bayern were terrible last year and won the “clumsily” title at the finish line, but in a few years no one will remember this and the title will be in history.I don't expect much from them in Champions League and I hesitate to support them this season for the Ligue 1 title except that I am sure their rivals aren't that good to maintain their top ranks. The prospects of PSG in the Champions League are doubtful, just like last year and the year before when, together with the star trio, they were knocked out in the 1/8 finals. But due to the randomness, it may turn out that this season will be more successful for them. At the moment, they need to qualify and then hope for luck in the draw.
I know that it's going to be tough deal without a doubt, I do not think that they are going to win the title by like 20 points or something, but they are still by far the best team and even with all the things that has been going on with them, they still managed to keep it close so far and I bet they will take the lead soon.

PSG's performances are best in Ligue 1, but they always disappoint in the Champions League, where they have little control. The fact that Newcastle scored goals against PSG did not surprise me in the most; they could actually have performed worse. When it comes to Ligue 1, though, that is when you will see them score a lot of goals and been claimed champions.
You remember 2022 PSG's 1:0 won against Real Madrid in the first leg of the Champions League. So the match vs Newcastle, it feels like nothing to me. Karim Benzema scored three goals in their second leg match. Hat-trick for the group PSG has a streak where they are unable to defeat Real Madrid. The club was still has Neymar and Messi, and it was still difficult for them to reach the champions league final. As a result, I find it difficult to be surprised by the club's current performance. We know the present condition of PSG, suffering humiliating defeats from Newcastle United in UCL and would battle competitive teams in Ligue One. I'm hoping for the team to bounced back before the estimated time given to the new manager elapsed. Luis Enrique will suffered blows from the fueling heat generated from the team and the supporters, obviously he needs more time to build the team but he should ensured he gain listening ears and patience from the Parisians. They lost players like Messi and Neymar in this season while each one of these players could perform well and help the team, we can't expect to see the same performance from PSG after losing many players in this season because they also got a new coach and this team also needs some time to get in the good form.
We are seeing a lot of negative impact on PSG's performance with the departure of Messi and Neymar. It would be foolish to rely on a manager selling key players and expecting similar performances. What's wrong with Lyon?
