We have seen that PSG's game is very dependent on the figure of Mbappe because if there was no Mbappe their game would not be very strong. So that's why PSG really needs Mbappe this season. Asensio had to miss this match due to his injury but his replacement was not able to make a good contribution in this match like Kolo. Dembele seems to need a long adjustment to adapt to Luis Enrique's game scheme.

PSG's performance become even more inconsistent. Th team looks so hard in beating the mediocre club without mbappe. PSG can only count mbappe but he can leave anytime from there. I meant real madrid can take him to the santiago bernabeu anytime.
It will be a disaster for PSG if that will happen caused by mbappe has become the main key for the club in winning the match on UCL and league 1. I can't even imagine to see PSG to play without him. It will be a disaster for sure.
I hope mbappe will stay or khelaifi needs to find someone to replace him. The most difficult thing to find someone has pretty similar ability like him. It will be so good to see him stay even longer but mbappe has not yet decided his decision for sure.
Given that PSG's offensive tactics revolve around mbappe, if he's absent, the team's performance may suffer significantly. It has proven once mbappe was absent during the early matches against some easy team.

No other club pose such strength and power though. League one Champions are still not the Paris Champions we know some seasons back.
They had good game against Dortmund though. First half was not easy game. Finally Mbappe and Hakimi made things work. Hakimi goal should be voted UEFA goal of the week. It was a sublime efforts even t a difficult spot.

May be until PSG is able to do better than what they have done in the past that's when we should see Enrique as a good coach because right now they are still figuring their way out to make things better for the team and they need to keep winning their games to keep their motivation alive. Concerning the investments made by PSG, I think they spent so much money that they need the champions league to prove it otherwise I wouldn't say they made something out of the players they brought to the team and for the Dortmund side, it's no longer hidden that they sell out an important player from their team almost every new season but that alone shouldn't weaken the team because they still got other good players in the team

Paris Saint-Germain are yet to prove themselves in league games, rather they keep inconsistent results in games, winning today and losing tomorrow is definitely not a good reputation for the parisians. The club performance have decline so much, Nasser Al-Khelaifi should make more signings in January transfer window, because they cannot continue to depend on just one prominent player for results. With the previous performance of PSG, I don't think they will stand a chance to compete with other fierce opponents in the club. It's very important Luis Enrique put his team together for forthcoming challenges heading their way.

PSG's performance against Dortmund was quite convincing to me. I was even surprised with that honestly because they haven't been doing well until this match. They played different than the Ligue 1 here. This is what PSG really need now. They need to play extra not only in offense but also defense.

Dortmund couldn't score a single goal and it was nice to see after PSG's poor defensive effort against Nice. I think PSG would maintain the same effort against Newcastle as well. But as for Milan I don't know. Milan have seemed really strong so far. But if PSG play like this they can qualify from their group in 2nd place at worst.

PSG won against Dortmund in the first match of the Champions League thanks to Mbappe's great performance. If you start by winning the first match and you must perform better in the next matches, otherwise PSG will not be able to win the next matches. Not to underestimate Paris Saint Germain, but I would say that they are not stronger than the other favorites. I probably don't have to mention which clubs those are, because I'm pretty sure you can already tell which ones I'm referring to.
I'm not saying this without reason, and one of the factors for me to say that is when I look at their performance in the previous season.

Last season PSG only reached the last 16, and failed to advance to the quarter-finals after being beaten by Munchen 3-0 on aggregate. With the squad they had last season, PSG could have a lot to say in the UCL i think. The situation this season has changed, where PSG has been left behind by several big names, and luckily in the first match Enrique was able to lead PSG to win over Dortmund with a score of 2-0. If you look at the depth of PSG current squad, it's actually quite worthy of being a favourite, but I think the mentality factor in the UCL really plays a role.

Bayern Munchen, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Inter Milan and Man City are very strong this season. PSG steps to get through the group phase are quite difficult by joining group F. I think Enrique has to work for a long time to shape PSG to achieve its success, like Pep Guardiola did at Man City.

PSG is always the talk of the town every season but in the end for the Champions League they still ended up in the same condition where PSG only continued until the last 16 after that they were eliminated. Currently, they have made changes in terms of plans and player reshuffles have also been made but until now PSG still hasn't found anything more and even their performance tends to decline for the start of this season.
In the Champions League their first match was still very good and they got 3 points. To be honest for the group phase even though they are in the hell group at the moment because there are 3 other big clubs in the group with them but I am quite sure for them to qualify from the group phase but after that I don't expect much and this depends on how their opponents will be after qualifying because if there are heavy opponents again like the previous 2 seasons then the last 16 phase will definitely be difficult for them to pass and they could have stopped again this season.

This is where you are wrong. Even though I think PSG has lost power, I still think they are one of the few teams with a strong squad in the UCL. Mbappe, the igniting force, is still there and there is still a possibility that they can add to their success this year. I'm sure they'll make it through the groups for the UCL, but progress in the rest of the tournament may depend entirely on who they face in the qualifying draw.

The PSg squad is relatively weak right now. The attacking performance depends solely on Mbappe. If mbappe doesn't perform well, it will be very difficult for psg to win against any team. Bad news came from Marseille, because coach Marcelino was reported to have left the club after achieving results of 3 wins, 3 draws and 1 defeat, including failure in the UCL play off. Marcelino was appointed as Marseille coach last July and he only played 7 matches with Marseille. It seems that the results were not satisfactory enough to make him want to part ways with the club and this is not news of the coach's dismissal.

Marcelino preferred to resign as Marseille coach and even though he received a contract lasting until 2025. Currently Marseille has appointed Pancho Abardonado as interim coach and I hope Marseille will soon find a replacement because the competition in Ligue 1 at the start of this season is very fierce, especially last season they finished in 3rd position, so at least they have to finish in the same position or better again.
