I do agree that the result may seem surprising, especially considering how aggressive Monaco were and how many chances they created. It is hard to believe that LOSC were able to hold them off until the end. With so many chances Monaco had, you would expect them to make at least one of them count better. That said, LOSC do deserve credit for their solid defensive form.

Monaco clearly dominated in the attack. But their lack of finishing really hampered them from getting on the scoresheet. LOSC were breaking up attack after attack, and on the odd occasion when they did find themselves under pressure, they withstood the onslaught with discipline. It must be a frustrating result for the players and fans of Monaco, especially as they desperately needed a win to keep themselves top of the table. With PSG right behind them, ready to take over, this draw could give way to one of those being watershed moments in a title race.
