And in the end the score ended in a 0-0 draw without anyone scoring a goal. But here, I am quite impressed with Monaco's ability to hold LOSC to a draw with their condition playing with only 10 players starting from the 61st minute. Because, one of their players, Jordan Teze got a red card.
Fortunately Monaco did not concede a goal by relying on 10 players and that was inseparable from the ability of their defense line which was quite solid and did not allow Lille to attack freely so that Monaco could get one point in the match.
This was detrimental to Monaco, but fortunately, they were able to withstand all attacks from Lile and were still able to dominate the match. Point 1 is actually not that good, but not that bad either, especially for Monaco who played with only 10 players.
Clearly this is detrimental to Monaco because PSG's chances of catching up are increasingly open with a win in the next match even though now they are four points behind where PSG have not played the eighth match.
