It was easy work for Monaco just as I expected. A comfortable 3-0 victory.  Wink  Auxerre weren't a serious opponent for them honestly. They are a newcomer in the Ligue 1 you know.

When it comes to PSG, they didn't have a very difficult job either. Maybe they conceded the first goal but I don't think the people who bet on their win got worried too much. Because we have all seen how they started.  Smiley

Lastly Marseille... They looked really decent with that 2-0 win. It is entertaining to watch their football so far honestly. I hope they can stay in the title race with PSG. Wouldn't it be fun to add some excitement into it?  Grin
A clear victories for PSG, Monaco and Marseille with at least two goals difference at home for PSG and Marseille and away for Monaco which played away.
At the opposite, Lille made a surprising defeat away against St-Etienne even though they have enough time to get a draw..
Rennes is the other team that is playing right now against Montpellier and leading with three goals and they still have enough time to add another goal tho

The performance of the Nice team has been erratic this season. Nice was defeated in the first match. But in the next two matches we saw better performances from Nice. But Nice's performance against Marseille was not good. Nice's defense was weak in this match, although the forwards managed to make several good attacks. This is why Nice lost 2-0 today.

The Monaco team won against Auxerre as usual. The Auxerre team was not that strong. So it was already predicted that Monaco will win this match. On the other hand, we saw the dominance of PSG players in today's match as well. PSG have played very well and won every match this season. The Brest team managed to score a goal from the penalty spot. But throughout the match we saw the dominance of PSG players. Dembele is in excellent form. He also scored two goals in this match. Dembele managed to score 3 goals and 2 assists in 4 matches this season.

indeed a surprising result from Lille. St-Etienne was very much the underdog in this match but they got a goal early in the first half. Lille made a lot of effort to catch up on the goal deficit, but until the match ended they did not get it. Lille had to be satisfied with defeat, as did my bet which finally lost.

The Rennes vs Montpellier match was very profitable for Rennes. A difficult match for Montpellier who I think this season has not changed much from last season. Last season they fought hard to get away from the relegation zone, and fortunately, their performance improved quite a bit in several matches. and this season they are not good enough, in 4 matches they have only collected 1 point. hopefully, they will improve soon.

One of the interesting matches of the day in the French Ligue 1 will be played between Paris Saint Germain and Brest. Paris Saint Germain won 3 wins in their first 3 games in the league under Luis Enrique. They have scored 13 goals and conceded only 2 goals in their 3 league games. They had a great start to the season. After Mbappe's departure, I didn't think they could make such a start, so these results are a bit of a surprise for me. On the other hand, Brest had a very bad start to the season. They lost their first two games in the league. In their last game they beat Saint Etienne 4-0. But this team, which got a Champions League ticket last season, had a bad start in the league. I'll bet over 2.5 goals in this match.

Brest scored a goal from a penalty kick and took the lead, but Paris Saint-Germain scored three goals to win the match. Dembele scored two goals, and Fabian Ruiz scored the other. Paris Saint-Germain continues to dominate the league as everyone expected. What is important is how they will perform in the Champions League after this stage. I think they will reflect their good performance in the French league in the Champions League. I expect serious success from them this year.
As always, a very impressive performance in the French league. It's great to see Ousmane Dembélé getting back into his form. it's a treat to watch him playing and scoring, but there's always the worry of him getting injured. anyway it seems like the French team is doing well in their rebuilding process under Luis after the international break. We're all hoping this French giant carries the same energy into the Champions League and getting closer the success they've been aiming for.

I think it's high time we try to understand that football is not based on the name of the players in the team rather the performance of the team will create a very positive change in the team which I think is what is happening in the PSG team right now. Mbappe left the team everyone was expecting them to break the bank to sign big names which may never help them to win the league since they once had Mbappe, Messi to mention but few yet they ended up winning just the domestic league don't you think the team made a good decision to start working with players without high profile?

The PSG team has already started playing well and after watching them perform well with so much zeal I think they may end up doing better by winning the domestic league and going very far in the champions league competition because they have got what it takes to do that, the team may even win the Champions League competition this season if they perform well who knows what is going to happen in the champions league competition this season.
I have already made it clear that PSG will have no problem winning the local league title but with the squad they currently have, it will be difficult for them to do well in the Champions League. If you look at the teams that have qualified for the Champions League, if you consider the strength of the teams and the strength of PSG, PSG will be far behind all the other teams in every aspect. I agree with what you said that big name alone is not enough to perform well, consistency is very important along with big name. But you know very well and I know that if the team does not have good defenders, experienced midfielders as well as the best strikers then the performance of the team will not be good.

If PSG are only satisfied with France league then they don't need to buy players in their squad but if they really plan well for Champions League then I would say they definitely need quality players.
It is on the champion league side I disagree with you completely because unlike you, I'm expecting PSG to do very well in the champions league this season. Before, the team have focused so much on the quality of their players. I think they are playing better now than when they have so many big names in their team and if they continue that way, you will be surprised how far they will go in the champions league this season. One thing in football is that when you least expected, that is when some teams achieve some great results.
A good move for PSG would have been to change the manager of their club and appoint a competent manager but they are late in doing this. There was a time when we saw the best players in the world playing together in PSG but at that time PSG lacked a good manager to give the right direction due to which PSG's achievements as a team were never good even though the players were good. When PSG appointed Luis Enrique to their club, several quality players left PSG. Also, this manager sold several players of the team after taking charge of PSG but then did not appear to buy any significant players. The lack of players who left PSG has not yet been filled. So naturally it can be said that it is difficult for PSG to do well in the Champions League with this team.

At first it made me tense and my head felt dizzy seeing the score 1-1 in the PSG match against Brest. But after that it made me have to feel surprised and shocked to see Dembele and Fabian Ruiz appearance scoring with a difference of 1 minute and PSG made my bet win. However, PSG is currently not too happy because there are Marseille and Monaco who are currently continuing to appear consistently to approach PSG points. Yesterday the appearance of Marseille and Monaco was also quite interesting to beat Nice and Auxerre. Even though Marseille only appeared with 10 players in the 70+ minute, Nice could not take advantage of the situation to give a reply.

I have been notice last season Nantes only finish at 14th place even they almost be relegated and this season Nantes is quite different because Nantes has good progress under Antoine Kombouaré so far they had good start because until week 3 Nantes still unbeated and the latest is Nantes can beat Montpellier and this result is makes them can occupy 4th place under Monaco

Today Nantes will fight against Reims i think their consistency will be tested in this match because Reims is difficult opponent for them and last season Reims can able to beat them twice so i am curious whether Nantes can able to take revenge or not but if Nantes can managed their consistency i think beat Reims is not hard task for them and recently i have checked the odds for Nantes and the bookies provide good odds to bets @2.44

PSG is having a hard time winning, it's funny that they are playing against a weak opponent. Maybe this is a consequence of international games. Maybe the PSG players are tired. Anyway, there are still 45 minutes left in the game, PSG can still win the game.
Yep, the international break may have a little negative impact on players who defend their respective countries and their physical condition will definitely be a little weaker. Actually, PSG often put pressure but just lack focus to score. There were so many very good opportunities but often failed to score. Brest should not be a tough opponent and initially it annoyed me when PSG gave Brest 1 chance to score from a penalty kick.
I hope at least PSG can score 2 more goals or maybe stick with a draw so as not to lose points and not be embarrassed at home.
Hopefully I don't lose the odds @2 that I have chosen in this match.

Edit : Oh shit, as I was writing this reply Fabian Ruiz and Dembele scored 2 goals in a short space of time. This is absolutely insane. Cheesy

When a hero disappears, another hero always appears. This seems to be the case with PSG, where they had Mbappe as the center of attention, the hero of the club. But now Ousmane Dembélé has come to occupy the hero's vacant place. Now Ousmane Dembélé is becoming the hero of PSG. When he scored a goal, the fans were chanting his name. I am surprised to see that PSG is playing much better without Mbappe. While Real Madrid, which has Mbappe, is not playing well.

For now the league is competitive, we will see if it remains that way until the last round.

Olympique 2 - 0 Nice

A great win for Olympique who, despite playing with 10 men since the 75th minute, did not concede a single goal. This shows that Nice is no longer the same team it was at the start of last season. The good defense that Nice had at the start of last season is gone. Now they will fight to avoid relegation or finish in positions 10 to 15.

Auxerre 0 - 3 Monaco

Monaco are having a good start to the season, with 4 games without a single defeat and only 1 goal conceded. In their next game they will play against Barcelona, in the European Champions League.

And Lille lost, once again. They started the season two for two, and also reached to UCL as well, everyone thought they were having a great season, and while they did lose to PSG, everyone said that one was normal and everyone could lose to PSG and the gap was great, and yet now they lost once again.

This time they lost to Saint Ettiene, and that is not a team that any good team could lose to, which shows that their run was hanging on a thread and they are not looking good at all.

I would say it was about PSG game and morale, but the reality is that international break happened so I am not really seeing how those two could be connected to each other, feels like that could be totally irrelevant situation without a doubt.

Lille have been inconsistent this season. They started well but failed to maintain full focus until the end. Lille won the match by every stat except on goal as they failed to convert from 17 attempts and conceded a goal in the early six minutes to lose the game. Lille have to work on their finishing, I think that’s their major problem cause when you fail to convert your chances you are already on the path of losses.

Not at the moment though, but it still doesn't mean that PSG will be unbeaten this season, the club has been making some tremendous investments over the years bringing in the best players and coaches which other clubs can't afford and to an extent this has been one of the edges they have over the other clubs in the league1 and this may linger until some of these other clubs probably assume the same financial status that PSG are currently enjoying at the moment but until then, PSG may never experience any strong rivalry.
In the ligue 1 they are actually looking like it, but in other leagues may the champions League, they may not get there. So far so good PSG has been outstanding amongst others in the ligue 1 , it's true that they have invested a whole lot to be able to maintain this current form and status they are now but there have been some work also put in by the players to have gotten them to this point too. The point where that had to let go of mbappe got many thinking but now it's a balance situation even tho they are yet to get a perfect replacement they aren't doing any bad either.
Well, they may not have that dominant place in the champions league as they do in their domestic league and the reason is obvious that they have their equals over there at that level of competition nevertheless with each season they still make the top five list of favourites to win the champions league trophy. Also, it's a known fact that the personal efforts of the players also  contributed to that feat and giving their collective best they have been able to fill in that vacuum closely that would have been felt in the absence of Mbappe who many of us were seeing as the superhero of the club.
It seems that Mbappe's absence is not felt in the league. Maybe they will feel this absence in the UCL matches, but Mbappe did not start brightly in Real Madrid either. It seems like he did not make that big of an impact. Of course, Paris can bring in players to replace him. The French league is suitable for this. I am really curious about PSG in the UCL matches. I wonder how successful they can be.

LOSC could not take advantage of the advantages they had and they could not be creative in building attacks, on the other hand ST-Etienne could also defend very well so that they could ward off attacks launched by LOSC. St-Etienne was surprising because they could create a quick goal in the 6th minute, I think they are clear with that strategy. They tried to find a goal very quickly and after that they could play more defensively to maintain their advantage. Surely we are all surprised by what LOSC achieved in this match, because before the match they were the team that was very favored to win. I'm sure many people lose their bets, and what's annoying is when making a parlay bet that has to be lost because of one match.  Grin
The quick goal scored by Cafaro in the 6th minute was quite surprising and made St. Etienne make a tactical move with a defensive scheme that clearly made Lille inconvenient in this match.
Actually, Lille's game in this match was very good and indeed this was proven by the statistics they showed where even their ball possession was more than 70 percent in this match.

But because of the unexpected fast goal and the good defense of St. Etienne in this match made Lille unable to do much and only had to accept defeat even with very good dominance.
This is the second consecutive defeat for Lille and of course this is not too good if it continues to be allowed because after all, with consecutive defeats in the last 2 weeks this can disrupt their stability and mentality which in turn this can interfere with future performance.

Although PSG has managed to dominate ligue 1 but it does not mean that they can continue to win in ligue 1, sooner or later PSG will definitely get a defeat but I think the defeat may no longer affect PSGposition in the ligue 1 standings and does not affect their chances on winning trophies ligue 1, PSG ambition to become the best team in the world is their reason to bring in many star players so far,  but what they hoped for was not able to get even though star players and great coaches continued to rotate at PSG so far, winning Ligue 1 is not their top priorit in my opinion because it is indeed a competition that is too easy for them to continue to win the Ligue 1 trophy so far, So to prove that PSG is a big team, of course they must get the Champions League trophy and that's why the unlimited ambition of PSG owners forces them to continue to bring in many star players so far, PSG greatness in Ligue 1 has no effect at all on their performance in the Champions League and I think the competition that is too easy in Ligue 1 actually makes their mentality in the Champions League so far too soft.

For today's match I tried to bet on the following option with odds @2.23
I think Marseille and PSG are in their best form recently so I don't hesitate to bet on them.

Marseille will play against Nice and from this match it shows that Marseille is the favorite, they also got 2 wins with 1 draw in 3 matches that Marseille has played before.
For PSG itself they will play against Brest and of course whoever the person is must choose PSG to get the win, in those two matches I will also choose the same option for betting.

In the end the results were in accordance with my expectations Marseille and PSG were able to play very well and get 3 full points in today's match Marseille and PSG seemed to play more dominantly, Marseille themselves scored 2 goals against Nice without reply even though they got a red card in the 74th minute they were not discouraged and tried to maintain the defense so that the opposing club could not break through their defense and it went well while PSG themselves were able to score 3 goals and Brest were only able to reply with 1 goal.

There are other matches that are quite interesting and that is Auxerre vs Monaco, Nantes vs Reims because so far Monaco and Nantes can still play very well and adding both of them to the betting slip is still quite good in the chances of winning.
I will try to enter two team and make slip with 4 teams in total, hopefully all of them can play well and end as expected.
You seem to be a little more likely to find luck because the temporary results of Marseille, PSG and Monaco have won the match and are just waiting for the Nantes match against Reims tonight, hopefully your bet wins Wink

We can only hope that Ligue 1 is eyed by investors from the Middle East as a promising business field, so that they are willing to acquire one of the clubs, which in the end can provide an equal opponent for PSG. In the meantime, no contestant is able to match the strength of Luis Enrique squad, we can see that losing Mbappe also does not cause them any problems at all. Indeed, difficulties can occur when they play in the Champions League, but in Ligue 1 they are the real rulers. It takes great luck for teams like Monaco and Marseille to win the trophy, they must appear undefeated throughout the season like Leverkusen, because expecting PSG to experience a slight decline in performance is impossible. In my opinion, Girona will not make PSG stumble, because the La Liga representative is a newcomer to the Champions League.

Surprising;  LOSC lost to St-Ettiene with a score of 1 - 0. And even though LOSC pressed hard and dominated the match, they could not penetrate their opponent's defense properly.
LOSC could not take advantage of the advantages they had and they could not be creative in building attacks, on the other hand ST-Etienne could also defend very well so that they could ward off attacks launched by LOSC. favored to win. Indeed, so many missed events happened there. Lille even looked bad when hit by a counter attack from ST-ettiene. Well, seriously, the coach must make more appropriate tactics again in the next task in order to make their attacking line be more confident and sharper enough. And also the defenders, well...

Marseille do have great potential this season, although in terms of consistency they are not on the same line as Monaco or Brest. However, it looks more solid than last season for them to have this as a start.
Really, they did very well. Luckily they had scored 2 goals by Maupay and also Henrique. So when Cornelius got the second yellow card in the 74th minute, the De Zerbi immediately changed their tactic to be more defensive. Because after all, it was too risky to keep attacking, while one of their defenders must be out because of 2 yellow cards, and 2 other defenders had also gotten a yellow card for each. However, they managed not to concede a goal at all until the final whistle was blown.

Paris Saint-Germain and Marseille again won full points over their opponents, both teams are quite productive in terms of scoring goals. Speaking of Marseille, De Zerbi's team again won full points over their opponent Nice. Although in this match Greenwood did not play optimally, their loan striker, Neal Maupay, was able to prove that he can be relied on as the main striker in De Zerbi's squad. Now, Marseille is only two points behind Paris Saint-Germain. Meanwhile, PSG, as we discussed earlier, Brest is not a difficult opponent for them. Although they were left behind in the 29th minute through a penalty, Dembele was able to equalize in the 42nd minute. In this match, Dembele became Man of the Match by scoring two goals, and his performance was very impressive. But honestly I'm still confused, Enrique often fiddles with his midfielders. I mean, he often changes the position of his players. Even so, PSG continues to advance with a positive trend in four matches. btw, besides that AS Monaco is also quite good in its four matches.  they have the same points as Marseille, it seems that AS Manaco has the potential to shift Marseille's position if the team coached by De Zerbi's squad loses or plays underperform. by the way, even without Mbappe in Lique 1, the French League still has its own appeal even though it is not like other big leagues.
