What the heck is this?

Patrick Vieira has been a free agent since he was dismissed by Crystal Palace in March this year. The iconic midfielder was sacked after failing to guide Palace to a single win after the World Cup, which left the Eagles in a precarious position. His appointment at Strasbourg is his latest foray into management, and he spoke of his happiness to be given the opportunity:
https://www.getfootballnewsfrance.com/2023/patrick-vieira-unveiled-as-strasbourgs-new-head-coach/

It sounds like if there was no other good coach to be signed by strasbourg. Chelsea has owned almost a half of shares from strasbourg but the club was signing a garbage coach for upcoming season which is a very bad decision from the management.
Strasbourg can appoint a better coach compared with him. There have been so many coaches will be also interesting to be signed by the club as long as they will get good offer from the club.
There will be no change for strasbourg under him. This club gonna have the same fate as crystal palace.
I think the appointment of Patrick Vieira as the new coach of Strasbourg seems insignificant and indeed Strasbourg themselves are definitely quite happy as long as they can play in Ligue 1 without thinking about any targets for next season. Strasbourg is one of the weakest teams in ligue 1 and even if they can finish above the relegation zone they will all be very grateful.

It is clear that there will be no significant changes if the club's coach is Patrick Vieira and that has been proven since being sacked from Crystal Palace last season. So yes, I'm not surprised that Strasbourg will still be an ordinary team in this competition later.

then of course it's because Paris Saint-Germain don't want Kylian Mbappé to leave on a free transfer and also, this factor could heat up the situation if Kylian Mbappé insists on staying one more season.
If Mbappe does not want to extend the contract, it will send a message to the club that he wants to leave next year, and leaving next year means that he is leaving for free, psg can never let that to happen, they have spent so much on Mbappe to allow him leave for free, i believe they will force Mbappe to extend his contract, and if he refuses they will sell him. He is psg's biggest asset and it will be very foolish of the club to lose him and not get any money.
I wonder what options Paris Saint Germain will offer this time to keep Mbappe agreed to a contract extension. I can't imagine how PSG will be without Mbappe, let alone one of their stars Lionel Messi officially leaving the club this season and that will make the Paris Saint Germain team even more worried.

PSG are likely to hire Luis Enrique as coach. If Luis Enrique is the coach I think he will want full freedom to build his squad. And will want to build his squad from scratch. Mbappe's relationship with Neymar is not good. And so PSG management has to decide to sell one of these two players. PSG did not benefit much by keeping these two players together. I would say PSG should build a squad full of youth with the help of Luis Enrique. As a result, they will get stronger and more organized performances from the squad in the future.

There will be no offer. the decision gonna be on mbappe itself. PSG is not willing to lose a lot of money by let him go with free agent. The only best way to find a buyer for mbappe that can afford to pay 1/4 billion for him.
This is the most difficult task but PSG has no choice other than try to offer him for another club that has very big amounts of money.

Im thinking that if real madrid can't even afford such price. It may be different when it came to the english premier league like newcastle which has owned by PIF.
The problem if newcastle has no interest to sign mbappe at this moment. It's likely mbappe gonna stay and PSG will suffer huge lose caused by unable to sell him during the transfer season.

PSG will want to keep Mbappe at any cost. PSG will offer Mbappe the kind of facilities needed to keep him, as they did last season to keep Mbappe. Several players have already left this team, Lionel Messi is one of them. If Mbappe leaves the club at this moment, this club will be in a very bad situation, although Neymar is still in the club. Even though Neymar is at the club, his injury problems make the club worry every season. Now it is to be seen whether Mbappe will stay in this team if given some more opportunities like last season. If Mbappe stays at PSG, Mbappe and this team will do well under Luis Enrique.

No if a club is willing to pay more than 250 million or even an amount that is closer to 300 million with bonuses, I think they will let him go. They are considering the whole picture now and realize that the effect Mbappe has is now decreasing for PSG. It is not decreasing for other clubs, but a semi motivated Mbappe won't get PSG very far and he costs money that could be spent otherwise. They do have enough money, but if an offer is made that is high enough I believe that they will agree to transfer Mbappe. There is also a lot of drama going on and a season full of drama isn't worth 300 million.

Marseille are entering a new period with Marcelino's arrival. We will see if he can improve Tudor's record which was to finish in the 3rd place.

In my opinion, the thing Marseille need the most now is a centre-forward transfer. Because Alexis Sanchez has been released. Milik has also been signed permanently by Juventus. Luis Suarez has also joined Almeria right after his loan spell ended. There is only Vitinha left as a centre-forward mainly. But interestingly the only rumour I see about Marseille is Wilfried Zaha. However the departures have happened new so in a short time they should be getting serious about a centre-forward transfer.
Marcelino Garcia Toral was named as the new head coach of Olympique Marseille, and club president Pablo Longoria was present as he delivered his maiden press conference. Phocéens has had ample opportunity of occurrences in a short period of time, but I believe they will be able to pull elements back together with the new Manager, who is concentrating on getting additional prospective players from the market and also making sure his competitive approach is recognized with his squad. Marseille interested in Wilfried Zaha? That deal would be a good deal but I'm just curious why Sead Kolašinac didn't extend his contract and become a free agent this summer, his next move is the Seria A side, Atalanta.

There's a lot of money involved when it comes to news and advertising in football. Since there is not as much news about Messi and Ronaldo as before, the European media should report on the stars they have. Mbappe is one of the best of these stars.

True or false news will always attract attention. Because sports media now has a limited number of stars. These stars make news every day, even every hour. Mbappe's decision will be the biggest news.
rumors will always be spread and will always be updated when a top player like Mbappe is nearing the end of his contract with PSG. this is a normal situation because Mbappe is a player who has very good performances and very strong performances so that he is always linked with any team that will buy him. even though we know that Mbappe's contract is still one year away but social media will always exacerbate it with uncertain rumours.
We will see Mbappe's decision when he enters 2024. It is clear that the certainty has been given by Mbappe and I am sure that PSG will not waste this situation.

I think it's quite natural because now, especially with Ronaldo and Messi, who were always the center of the news at first, now that they are having a season in the Arab league and MLS, there won't be much news for them in the middle of their remaining contracts, so there's nothing other than European players who are on the way on the rise and in hanging contracts.
Mbappe's contract at PSG has one season remaining and with the ultimatum that PSG gave Mbappe some time ago about a contract extension or leaving at a high price it will also elicit mixed reactions and surely the media will use that to their advantage in the news stock.

Mbappé is obviously the next prodigy along with Erling Haaland for sure. So obviously whenever there is a chance their media houses are going to publish news about both of them. Sometimes they do not even check if it is true or not. Whenever there is a rumor there is the news about them. And mostly about Mbappé because he was supposed to move almost 2 seasons ago.

Of course, they are going to make these types of news because this news are going to get traction. There is nothing official about Mbappé moving out from PSG. But there are a lot of news being circulated around this very thing.

I really hope that Mbappé is not going to extend his contract.

Therefore, when looking at the condition of Mbappe, it is clear that the news will always be sought for him regardless of whether the news is true or not, the media does not really want to know that the most important thing is that they have news to report.
Talking about Mbappe's contract now, he is actually in an uncertain condition especially there is a condition where he refused an automatic contract extension for one year which of course this will create a lot of polemics and lead to the possibility of him leaving.

But if indeed he extends the contract back at PSG in the end this could be something very unfortunate because I still feel he will not develop rapidly if he continues to be in Ligue 1.

Allowing mbappe to leave the club for free would be a stupid move but the thing about player relationship and club is that PSG can't actually force him to stay in the club they could try to persuade him to stay by increasing his salary but even at that if his mind is set to leave the club the best they could do is just to offer him out for sale Atleast they would gain much from deal since he is off high value.

Apparently, I forgot a lot about this one club. in fact, I didn't even know that Alexis Sanchez had ended his contract with Marseille. immediately after that I tried to surf looking for information related to the news, there wasn't much information that I got other than that Sanchez was interested in by the Saudi club, namely Al Fateh. So actually there are several Saudi clubs outside the PIF company who are also hunting for top European players, especially players who have entered 30+.

Speaking of Marseille, currently Marcelino is replacing Igor Tudor who also chose to leave Marseille with the agreement of both parties. referring to Marcelino's track record, at least he has a pretty good track record when handling Bilbao and Vallencia. with the provisions he has, it is hoped that Marseille can participate in competition at the top level of Ligue 1. At least, Marcelino knows what he needs by bringing in newcomers. unfortunately we rarely focus on other clubs, apart from the French giants. I hope that Marseille will still be able to become a competitor in this competition. at least, so that this competition is not so boring.

I think another season for Kylian Mbappe in the French Soccer League is bad for his Balon d'or pursuits in the long run; why? Haaland is already stealing plaudits, likewise real Madrid vinicius, another season with PSG means Mbappe will struggle to make the limelight for the world best shouts awards; which is one of his dreams. The PSG squad is one that will under perform in the new season; better to leave that team to Real Madrid and dominate headlines with Vinicius
Even if Kylian Mbappe goes to Real Madrid, I don't think it will be easy for him to win the Balon d'or by stealing more attention. Because at Real Madrid there are also many great and talented players so they will also be a direct rival for Kylian Mbappe, although the assessment of some people will not be any better if he stays at PSG for next season. But everyone also needs to respect the decision he will make for himself in terms of which team to join.
If there is a worthy rival in one's team, then the team gets a good advantage by trying to give the best of both. Real Madrid have some quality players who can expect the Ballon d'Or. If Mbappe joins them again, it can be said that they will be a good competition in the Ballon d'Or fight. But the idea that only Real Madrid players can win the Ballon d'Or is completely wrong. Many of Europe's more prestigious clubs have a number of star players full of potential who would be well on their way to winning the Ballon d'Or.

PSG are still leaving the door open for Mbappe but they don't want to simply put him in transfer list. They must be open to offers anyway. But they wouldn't accept offers below a satisfying level. Because they are going to have to pay a really high amount of money to him in case of selling him earlier on his contract.
The offer they get should be worth higher than that level for sure. However Real Madrid don't want to make this offer as long as there is no other team trying to sign him. Because there is no meaning in paying an insane amount of money for his transfer fee while they have the chance of signing him for free in 6 months.

Whether PSG will sell Mbappe cannot be predicted for sure. PSG has yet to express any interest in selling Mbappe. However, if a club is interested in buying Mbappe at a higher price, PSG management may consider the offer. Real Madrid have been trying to sign Mbappe for a long time. But the club has been disappointed every time because of PSG. If Real Madrid are interested in paying a higher price this season, they may be able to sign Mbappe. However, many clubs have expressed interest in signing Mbappe. And so Real Madrid has no chance of getting Mbappe into the squad without paying a high price.

Well, in terms of strategy, I think every coach has his own views regarding his squad and I think it will be suitable as long as Enrique is given enough time while he is PSG coach. Enrique is no ordinary coach and with his experience of course things like this are not a problem for him to give good direction to his players.
Enrique will become PSG's coach but enrique must try to make fast move as soon as possible caused by there is limited time for the transfer season. Im waiting for enrique to implement tiki taka on PSG even though it's an old strategy.
The first task to rebuild the club again. Enrique is trying to make sure PSG will have a new form soon.
I mean would you leave if you had 60+ million in salaries and at least another 60+ million on bonuses and such on the club? That would mean that another team must offer at least that much if he leaves, and no team is offering that much for him, not because he doesn't worth it to be fair, it's because that was one of the biggest European contracts ever in history and no team has that kind of money, they would love to offer him even more, 100+100 if they could, but they just can't because financial fair play and to be fair they don't have the money for it.

So, he wants to stay at least one more season and get that bag before he leaves for another club and gets paid a lot less. He already has enough money so it's not that shocking to accept lower after that.

It is true that money now rules the game because players are not playing for passion anymore. But buying these younger players will be far better than having these high-sort players that will always have options of moving to other clubs. But these younger players will grow with the team and gradually become relevant to the club. Some of them will give their best because playing for such a big club is an uncommon privilege for them. But one of the problems is that they are not experienced and sometimes show signs of indiscipline because of youthful exuberance.

Right and this is where it could become dangerous when the Saudi League lures players into a desperate situation where they have to decide between either joining a reputable team with a long history and highest level soccer in the European competitions or whether they go for a financially secure future with hundreds of millions of dollars earned in their young 20s. This is not decided yet and I would say that it would make me sad if a super talent like Mbappe goes to the SPL one day just for the money instead of making use of his talent and present the world with the best soccer game ever.

Well, for Killian Mbappe to stay at Paris Saint-Germain for another season is one of the good options, so I'm not too surprised by the player's participation in the presentation. PSG has not closed the transfer window yet and therefore the option of Kilian staying at the club is also quite likely. Another question is that if there is progress in the transfer of the player, then no one will remember that Mbappe presented the form at the beginning of the season. History has known many similar cases and even more comical.

I think it seems, not about the option to stay one season at Paris Saint-Germain but yes, that Kylian Mbappé is still under contract at Paris Saint-Germain for at least one more season. Therefore, this factor also makes Kylian Mbappé willing to play at Paris Saint-Germain in the next season because anyway, if Kylian Mbappé chooses this way then Kylian Mbappé at the end of next season can leave Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer. So yes, if in this transfer window Paris Saint-Germain attempt to sell Kylian Mbappé, then of course it's because Paris Saint-Germain don't want Kylian Mbappé to leave on a free transfer and also, this factor could heat up the situation if Kylian Mbappé insists on staying one more season.
