That is not true and will never become true because it needs more than that and first and foremost it needs the right coach at the right time. The final against Bayern Munich was the closest they ever got to winning the Champions League, but leaving that season aside they had horrible results sometimes even when all of the stars were available to play. They need to do a complete overhaul, but still in my opinion it is a mission that is almost impossible for them to achieve.

I don't know what PSG's problem is, but their all-star squad has been awful this season... They had the most expensive players among other European clubs, but PSG couldn't do anything in the Champions League, as usual, and almost missed out on first place in Ligue 1...

But do you really believe that this is still possible to day that players play to establish themselves as a memorable name and player? They are all in it for the money for a simple reason: it is worth it!

When you can demand 10 million straight into your pocket at the age of 17 or 18 just for the signature and even without the salary, it is more than obvious what game they are playing. It's money and exactly because everyone is after the money, the Saudi clubs could become more relevant in the next years. I can't even say that it is wrong as a young person. If an 18 year old can make 20 to 30 million a year including the signing bonus, almost everybody would go for it. But there are a lot of young talents that show a decreasing performance right after their first big contract.

On the other end of the spectrum you have players like Mbappe who think they can ask any amount they deem appropriate.

On the other hand, PSG must be prepared for all the risks that occur if Mbappe persists in his position of not wanting to extend his contract, PSG must give up Mbappe departure as a free transfer player and will not receive any compensation for Mbappe's departure. Mbappe is still young, he is still physically strong, he also has above average quality, big clubs really want to sign him for his skill in scoring goals. PSG should be able to read this situation well, they must lower their arrogance in order to get some money from selling Mbappe instead of letting him go for free next season.

There is not any news about Mbappe leaving PSG and we had the same story last time while in the end, Mbappe stayed in this French team.
We know other teams and especially Real Madrid are waiting for Mbappe and a chance from him to hire this player from PSG but for any reason, if he stays in PSG, which is not going to be surprising other teams should start seeking other players.
