You're not the only one, all the football analysts out there thought maybe PSG would rule Europe. There was no reason not to think so because in the same team, so many stars like Lionel Messi, Neymar, Mbappe, Sergio Ramos, Achraf Hakimi, Marquinhos, Donnarumma will represent the same team together. All of them played for the same team but could not bring any success as a team. That is why the PSG president is leaving one after the other with so much salary. Maybe next season we will see some changes in PSG club.
PSG is a football team that has quite a number of star players with a million achievements so it is only natural that most football observers say that PSG can dominate Europe but this is just an impossible hope because there have been many rumors circulating that some of players are being targeted by other teams and will leave from PSG.
Even though for the Ligue 1 French League PSG is the strongest team by holding the first place in the standings, in fact for Europe they are not a team that is strong enough to be feared by other teams.

I think if really some top players will leave there then PSG will lose their strength and I'm sure of that.

PSG is losing Mbappe and they lost Messi too, I think this team is losing the superstar players they had and I think there is even a possibility to say the PSG owner is disappointed with this team and they are going sell the players and try earning money from the players they sell there and decrease the salary they have to pay.
PSG was losing all of players that have brought so many supporters for PSG. This will be giving impact for long term. The income from the team will be affected as well. It's caused by PSG will not able to sell a lot of jersey, merchandise or tickets for people who have been willing to watch mbappe, messi or neymar. Losing all of superstars are big losses for PSG. PSG is now trying to get a new player to replace those superstars but the impact will not as big as them.
I remember when PSG got massive followers after signed messi in the club. We will not see that happens again this season. PSG has been losing its popularity slower but surely.

I saw some names that will be coming to the club but im sure if it will not change the image that owned by PSG right now as a club with bad environment in for the players.

Since the project now failed in a way it could indeed have consequences in the long run. The players that joined PSG in recent years thought that they will become a part of a project that will dominate the European soccer for many years and frequently win the Champions League with Mbappe, Neymar and Messi, but quite the opposite was the case. When PSG now reaches out to players the only enticement they have in their repertoire now is money. It will all be about the money. There is no Messi anymore and soon there will be no Mbappe. When players now go there it is not because they are playing with the best players in the world, but because they get paid more at PSG than elsewhere.

A few years ago, when PSG signed Lionel Messi, I thought that he would dominate European leagues like you, but we were very wrong. They lost the championship to Lille in one season and they did not win the UCL trophy in that period. They were pathetically eliminated this year as well, and now the team has begun to disintegrate. The next process will be more difficult for PSG.
It's true that being able to bring in star players will not always have a big impact on the club's performance, even more so one GOAT who arrives may not be able to change all that. Maybe it's also not Messi's fault if PSG couldn't get anything that season and indeed because they really like to buy star players, they tend to turn them into a foundation to be able to win the title.

PSG should be able to look at other lines that are still lacking in punch and if they don't just focus on one side I think they will still be able to get what they want. However, even for the first Champions League title they are still very unlikely until now and now we will not know where PSG will go next next season.

Of course this is possible. After all these unsuccessful results, some changes may occur. France is a beautiful country and Paris is a wonderful city. This city has a team that pushes the limits and the successes that do not come despite all the positive things are enough to annoy people. From this point of view, the management may change, the technical team may change. I think they should think long and hard to get to the root of this problem.

Me too but it must be noted if there were also other players that made me think like that. PSG was signing so many great players at that time. These players are neymar, dimaria, even sergio ramos. That was giving impression if PSG was the best club in the world at that time caused by PSG has been trying to rebuild its club with so many great players. That's the reason why PSG made me think if that club gonna win UCL easily but the fact was saying the opposite thing.
PSG didn't have winner mentality. It could be seen from the result against bayern in the final of UCL a few years ago. The owner of club has very big ambition to won everything instantly by bought so many great players and put em all into the one place.
I remember how optimism sergio ramos when he was coming to the PSG. He was even saying if UCL became the main target for his first season with PSG.
Everything changed drastically with the goes of time.

Now their two star players are on the verge of leaving after Messi left first and in the end the arrogance of the fans will have such a big impact on the club. However incidents like this will have an impact on PSG's preparations for pre-season and they must immediately find a replacement for other players and conditions like this cannot be underestimated because they can affect other players in the next season.
PSG management should rebuild their squad next season. In the last few seasons, we have seen a lot of star players in PSG's squad. But there is no improvement in PSG's performance. PSG changed coach several times but did not get good results. PSG management should appoint an experienced coach instead of wasting money on buying only star players. Even an average squad can perform well if the coach is experienced. And so PSG's management should look for an experienced coach like Zidane or Guardiola.

PSG owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi is not trying to make money by selling players. Nasser Al-Khelaifi has a lot of money. And he is also ready to raise big funds to strengthen his squad. We still don't know if Mbappe will be sold by PSG management. Mbappe did not renew his contract with PSG. Mbappe is out of contract with PSG next season. Now we don't know whether PSG management will make money by selling Mbappe, or they will keep Mbappe in the team and Mbappe will leave PSG as a free agent next season.

Football is changing, PSG is not the only club where they can pay more, and you are right now it is clear that the team is going through a stage when players are disillusioned with the club and are trying to find another place where they can realize their goals. Perhaps in the off-season, PSG will once again bring together star players, but they have done it so many times and now it's all over again, it doesn't look like it can bring them the desired result.
In fact, not only high fees are a priority for players to be able to join the club, but the management and road map are also other reasons that are also considered by the players. I certainly don't doubt the financial side of PSG, they are one of the richest teams in the world, but I see that there is another side that makes PSG's achievements look stagnant.

I see that the management side of PSG must be completely overhauled because they are not able to work optimally. They should be able to learn from Manchester City, who built their squad and targets very neatly. That is, when PSG were able to bring in Messi and collaborate with Mbappe and Neymar but they were not supported by a coach who had equal experience, PSG management should not have Galtier as a coach to handle them. I think the result of the lack of clarity in managing the team has made players uncomfortable living in Paris and reluctant to extend their contracts. So I really hope that the owners of PSG will evaluate all of their management so that Les Parisens can realize their dream in the Champions League.

I have a very different opinion for what’s to come from PSG this season because once they lose Mbappe for good I believe that they’ll focus on bringing young French player’s and start developing them and then occasionally buy a star player to balance the squad. Furthermore I feel that PSG won’t splash the money this season as I’m sure that they have realised their mistake that spending big money doesn’t always guarantee success.

Yes but honestly, what other star players can they now bring in when your offensive line was Messi, Mbappe and Neymar already? What I am trying to say is that PSG already went for the maximum. What else can they do to aim even higher? Who are the three players that they can bring in and who would be willing to sign a contract with PSG? I think they have reached their limits and this is it for now. As long as Ligue 1 is as weak as it is overall, they won't be able to convince players in their low or mid 20s who are still willing to take on the biggest challenge in world soccer, which is probably the Premier League or some other league, but not Ligue 1.

Money is not a problem for PSG's owners because the club's owners own everything and I think it's completely management's fault in managing the club. Nasser Al Khelaifi is a very rich man and he is not looking to make money by selling players because before they have spent a lot of money buying players. So far there have been no reports from any media about players' high wages and the management will try to reduce the players' wages.

I agree with you. Nasser Al Khelaifi has a lot of money. And PSG management doesn't want to make money by selling its players. Nasser Al Khelaifi has spent a lot of money in the last few seasons just to strengthen the team. Also since Messi has just left PSG, and PSG management is yet to sign any player to replace Messi. Right now they won't make a stupid decision like selling an important player like Mbappe to make money. If PSG management can find replacements for Mbappe, Messi, and Neymar, then they will decide to sell Mbappe. Until then, Nasser Al Khelaifi will try his best to renew the contract with Mbappe.

It seems that the problem at PSG is the coach because as far as we have seen they have great players in the squad but their performances in the Champions League have been very inconsistent. Christophe Galtier was not the right person to handle PSG and he was not Combine able to mix the existing players and even at the end of the season they were not very consistent. Although in the end Christophe Galtier managed to present the Ligue 1 title for PSG this season, in my opinion it was not a big achievement because previously they were candidates who often won Ligue 1.

Zidane is also rumored to be coaching PSG next season but some media say he has turned down the offer and now there is news that PSG are considering Jose Mourinho but so far no word on the extent of the approach they have built with the Roma coach.

The end of los galacticos PSG.

Almost all of players signed with big amounts of money were leaving from the club with free transfer status. PSG definitely wasted so much money for all of them. Neymar which already bought by PSG with 222 millions will be also leaving the club with low price.

I remember when so many parties are putting their believe in PSG.

PSG was making so many big movements a few years ago by signing messi, di maria, mbappe, neymar, veratti, ramos, hakimi and many more. PSG is likyle going back to the its mediocre form.

Al khelaifi has been wasting so much money for nothing. It's even more compared with chelsea once todd was acquiring it.

Neymar itself has a very big transfer record that has ever happened in the football. PSG fans are actually feeling disappointed with it. This club is not as big as before.

Left Neymar not rumor yet will leave PSG or not, he has linked with Manchester United but not official announce yet for Neymar leave PSG because he still injury right now and absent many games with PSG in this season.
Neymar will leave psg, they don't want him in the club again and they are only waiting for good offers for him. Messi has left the club, now it is possible that psg are going to lose Neymar and Mbappe too, i don't know if that is a good or bad thing for the club, since the era of superstars hasn't worked for the club, maybe the club without too many superstars would be good and successful for them. I don't like how psg run their club, they don't have good owners, and that may be their main problem.

Neymar and Mbappe both are leaving PSG and the situation for these two superstars is not the same at all because Neymar is not in a good situation and lose the season because he got injured and he is getting old too while Mbappe is a gem in the market.

~snip~

Truthfully this season wasn't good for PSG at all. I'm not contented with Galtier's management here and I was already worried about PSG when they made this choice as well. Because Galtier had no experience with a top team like PSG before. He didn't know how to deal with world stars like Messi, Mbappe, Neymar and so on. Of course this team can win the Ligue 1 title anyway even under the management of one of us here.  Grin  But especially the Champions League performance was a big disappointment.

From now on the only thing I'm curious about is if PSG will replace Galtier with a much bigger name who can really boost them. Mourinho has been the most speculated name recently but we will see.

Obviously, we both know it. but one thing we forget, that at the start of the season they seem very convincing. unfortunately, their performance has decreased along with issues of problems in the locker room and media reports that always corner PSG. until the time comes for PSG to be hit by various problems, whether it's Mbappe, Neymar and even Messi at the end of the season. made worse, several core players suffered injuries which ultimately resulted in a decrease in performance.

Referring to what you said, I can understand if Galtier lacks high flying hours managing a club as big as Paris Saint-Germain. maybe also, what you say is true that Galtier doesn't have the experience to handle big stars yet. Besides that, there are many other factors based on my point of view. and I think, I often describe it in several posts.
regarding coaches, as far as I know for now, only Julian Nagelsmann is a strong candidate to become PSG coach. in fact, I'm pretty sure he will give it his all if he does eventually come to the Parc des Princes. in fact, I would agree even more if Nagelsmann overhauled the existing line-up of players. That way, he will be free with what he wants. by the way Jose Mourinho, last I read the rumours. that PSG are no longer interested in him after losing in the Europa League. well, I'm curious, which coach will handle PSG. so, let's wait.

We know they are going to hire a new coach but still, all we hear is just some names like Mourinho and Zidane and I think Zidane has much more chance to work in PSG for the next season.

Losing of Messi and Neymar were never been issue for the PSG but now suddenly losing of Mbappé is going to be terrible for them even now I have feeling most chances if Mbappé decided to leave then management can sell this club as well because this will lose worth and surely need to be good amount for setting as par current standard, and they already announce few months back if they fail to fill their dreams they will sell this club so now most chances things will be gone in this way, and we will have completely new-look in next season which will be good for the French League because mostly teams will be on same level and competitions could be tough for the top spots as well.

PSG management will never allow Mbappé to leave this club as free agent so most chances these all things will be cleared in next few weeks with most chances in next season we will have PSG with all new faces and completely different side from this old era.

The departure of the stars (even if it's Mbappe) could be good for PSG - maybe they'll finally hire a head coach bigger than any of the players and we'll see not a bunch of stars but a real team.
And yes, I also think that after Mbappe's words, PSG will sell him this summer, but I don't understand how they can do this without selling him to Real (where Mbappe himself wants).

PSG is losing Mbappe and they lost Messi too, I think this team is losing the superstar players they had and I think there is even a possibility to say the PSG owner is disappointed with this team and they are going sell the players and try earning money from the players they sell there and decrease the salary they have to pay.

Neymar and Mbappe are still PSG players, but Messi has already left for Inter Miami. The two mainstays of PSG are likely to also leave with other teams either in the same way as Messi or being sold at high prices. Several Premier League teams are interested in Neymar's signature, as well as Mbappe, but so far I haven't found them really wanting to move.

In the end it is always possible for PSG to part ways with their superstar, but they will get a suitable replacement in the future due to their strong financial support. PSG have signed several players right now, so they will still be the favorites in Ligue 1.
