PSG is not something they want to actually "win", that's not the point. It's a media thing and they need to be there to actually be heard, if it's a win that's not getting media attention, they rather not win it, they don't care. Which is why it's not going to be easy to build a team slowly, if they did that they would be terrible.

This has been discussed before, they need media attention and Mbappe gave them that. They need to spend a ton of money so that they could have a big name club, big names in the club means more newspaper and more attention. I think it's going to take a while but it will certainly be a situation where the owner requires them to get some huge names to play for them and be loved by the world or at least get talked about the very least.

I think Mbappé should realize that it is not healthy for him to stay in PSG anymore. He is not achieving anything other than money in PSG. And that is just not good for his career. It is also not good for his legacy. Well, maybe he doesn’t care about his reputation. Probably he just cares about the money that he is getting from PSG. That is the only reason and only logic I can find for him to stay in PSG still. PSG should let him go. I know the owner of PSG is a very rich man, and he does not need to earn money by selling players. But I don’t think even he is going to want to take a loss of 200 million. So probably the best decision right now is going to be selling Mbappé.

Players such as Neymar Jr, Sergio Ramos, and Leo Messi will stun supporters by exiting through the Parc de Princes door. Time for Ramos to leave, Sergio Ramos was a tenacious defender who understood exactly what he needed to accomplish against his opponents. PSG decided not extend his contract because he is aging and unable to play at a high level; instead, the club requires a young defender with the strength to hold off opponents on the defensive lines. If Ramos wishes to continue his football career, he may retire or join an unpopular league.  

They would lose their most important identification figure. How many kids and young people around the world are Mbappe fans and his career will keep going for quite some time. Having him on the team also means having all those fans globally to follow PSG and their journey. This would be a massive blow to PSG's plan to further establish the club at the top of the soccer world. As impressive as it was when they signed him, as negatively impressive will it now be should he really leave the club this summer.

He can still play for a season or two as his age is still okay for a defender although he is 37. Al Ittihad have been interested in him as the rumour has been out for a couple of days. Honestly I think it would be a really good move for him. Because who knows how much money he can make there. Arabian teams don't step back from paying a lot of money to stars like him.

He can have his last year(s) of his career there by earning a great deal of money and securing his and his family's future for certain. After that I assume he would retire instead of returning to Europe or going to MLS. I think this is the greatest formula for him.

Will Sergio Ramos still continue his career or will he choose to retire because after all, PSG also did not extend his contract and that means Sergio Ramos is currently not under contract with any club. That way, I feel like PSG was just wasting money when recruiting Sergio Ramos because after all, it seems like Sergio Ramos doesn't have a big contribution to the team either. Because before that I expected that PSG's defense would be very strong with Sergio Ramos, but in reality it was not as good as imagined.

I think PSG's failure in the UCL is only because PSG may not have the experience of winning the UCL so far, making it difficult for PSG to get a trophy in the champions league. although experience does not provide guarantees, at least it can provide experience to use strategies that are often used in UCL.

I'm sure not, so we'll just have to watch what PSG will do in the transfer window next summer. because referring to what Romano quoted, PSG will not just let it go for free. there are conditions for that, sign a new contract now, or he could be sold. to be honest, it really caught my attention. I am curious what Nasser Al-Khelaifi will do.
IMO, I'd rather agree if PSG completely overhauled its squad with newcomers. thus, they could assemble the team's squad. but with one condition, PSG must first bring in a coach who really has high experience requirements, especially those who have the same expertise as Pep Guardiola.

It doesn't feel like the star-filled era built by PSG a few years ago is now starting to see its players collapse one by one and PSG seems to have to think quickly to find a solution for the loss of some of its star players later. About Neymar the rumours PSG already plan to sell Neymar since the summer of 2022 but the price is too high causing a lack of interest, now PSG is willing to lower the price again although that's loss, too bad.

Regarding the effect Messi departure had on PSG team you have a point. The team success now that Mbappe has a more prominent position will be heavily dependent on his efforts. The PSG management is well aware of the probable performance decline and loss of Ligue 1 hegemony. Neymar is another fantastic player they have but they can not rely only on him because to his injury history. In order to preserve their competitive advantage it appears likely that PSG would prioritise having both Neymar and Mbappe in their assault for the forthcoming season.

I am doubtful if the owner will try to repeat the same pattern again. Trust the process instead of attempting to make instant changes.
This strategy was used by khelaifi to rebuild PSG a few years ago after he was buying PSG. The problem is that so many problems have been occurring since there have been many star players acquired by PSG.
The internal problem has become the main reason that was making the club become unsuccessful like this time. It's only the winning french league which was nothing special for us.
Remember how much money was already spent by PSG to buy neymar at that time? Neymar has become the biggest transfer in history. There's no transfer that can be even bigger compared with PSG's neymar transfer from barcelona.

Judging by the recent  speculations by the media and the decision of Kylian Mbappe not to extend his Paris Saint Germaine contract, I think it'll be almost impossible to Kylian Mbappe play for PSG come next season and that I think will be a very big issue for PSG as club after losing key first team players like Sergio and Lionel Messi coupled with the fact that Neymar's future with the club is also uncertain.
If Mbappe should leave the French capital this summer, it'll take PSG a major transfer signing spree to become a strong European club once again

Mbappe is always a main player in PSG since his transfer from Monaco. He joined them as a young star player but now his position improved a lot as one of biggest super star players.

He had great contributions for PSG in the past seasons and PSG depended on Mbappe performance a lot.

Neymar might be sold to another club too as Mbappe does not like Neymar and a best friend of Neymar, Messi will leave PSG to join Inter Miami.

However Mbappe is not a player who can help PSG to win all matches and win titles. He needs to have support from good team mates. A club can not win Champions League because they have Mbappe in the team. They need many good players in defensive and midfield areas as well as a good coach who can maximize player ability and is able to use appropriate tactics to beat strong opponents.

Since Messi has left the team, Mbappe is now the main player in PSG's squad. The team will now depend on Mbappe's performance. PSG management is well aware that now Mbappe leaves the team and their performance will drop badly. They will even lose dominance from Ligue 1. However, PSG has another star player Neymar in their squad. However, due to injuries, he could not stay with the squad for the full season. And so PSG will not risk relying solely on Neymar. Next season we will likely see both Neymar and Mbappe in PSG's attack.

The substantial financial resources of Nasser Al Khelaifi have been instrumental in improving PSG team over the previous few seasons. It would be foolish for the management to sell a crucial player like Mbappe merely for financial benefit given the recent departure of Messi from PSG and the lack of a direct successor. Before making any judgements about Mbappe future PSG would put finding potential replacements for important players like Mbappe Messi and Neymar as a top priority. It is evident that Nasser Al Khelaifi and the management group will work hard to negotiate a Contract extension with Mbappe in order to keep the team competitive and build on its achievements.

PSG is a football team that has quite a number of star players with a million achievements so it is only natural that most football observers say that PSG can dominate Europe but this is just an impossible hope because there have been many rumors circulating that some of players are being targeted by other teams and will leave from PSG.
Even though for the Ligue 1 French League PSG is the strongest team by holding the first place in the standings, in fact for Europe they are not a team that is strong enough to be feared by other teams.

I think if really some top players will leave there then PSG will lose their strength and I'm sure of that.

It's true that being able to bring in star players will not always have a big impact on the club's performance, even more so one GOAT who arrives may not be able to change all that. Maybe it's also not Messi's fault if PSG couldn't get anything that season and indeed because they really like to buy star players, they tend to turn them into a foundation to be able to win the title.

PSG should be able to look at other lines that are still lacking in punch and if they don't just focus on one side I think they will still be able to get what they want. However, even for the first Champions League title they are still very unlikely until now and now we will not know where PSG will go next next season.

Of course this is possible. After all these unsuccessful results, some changes may occur. France is a beautiful country and Paris is a wonderful city. This city has a team that pushes the limits and the successes that do not come despite all the positive things are enough to annoy people. From this point of view, the management may change, the technical team may change. I think they should think long and hard to get to the root of this problem.
