I think Lionel Messi was not used well by the PSG team. Because with Lionel Messi you can achieve something unique. I think the PSG coach doesn't know how to use Lionel Messi. If Lionel Messi got a coach like Pep Guardiola, he would have created history by now.

Messi did not get the respect he deserved from his teammates and team management during his last season at PSG. And PSG fans were furious with Messi as well, which led to Messi joining another club at the end of the season with PSG. 

Lionel Messi is undoubtedly a legendary player who deserves as much respect as a legendary player deserves. After leaving Messi, PSG club will start the new season in a new way. Before the start of the new season, there may be another change in the team. Neymar may leave PSG this season because, like Messi, Neymar is no longer wanted by PSG fans and PSC management.

Paris Saint Germain seem to only focus on their star players, they seem to forget that football is a team game not an individual game, so when their star players can't give what they expect they don't value the player. If this continues then they will never find what they want all this time because if new players come the same thing is very likely to happen.

I also think that the decision to leave PSG is the best as honestly he did not contribute that much to PSG in the season he played with them.PSG has been winning the league title easily these last years and their main focus has been the Champions League which they have a final there that they lost.I think Messi was bought exactly for this reason to give them the Champions League title and as long as he did not achieve that it is better to leave as he is old in age,he is not going to improve in the coming years.

Messi is a great player who can help the team a lot, but first, he needs to be in a team where he can get motivation good atmosphere he can't get that in PSG.
From what I saw in PSG they had to hire a manager who can handle players like Messi and Mbappe, I mean when you have great superstars and famous players you need to get control over these players otherwise you can never use the players you hired and that's what happened in PSG.

The problem is one mistake that has been made by messi was making all of PSG fans are forgetting if messi was able helping its club to win the trophies. Those PSG fans are losing their mind.

They are only hatred to the messi. It's unacceptable for me to see messi was always getting boed by PSG fans. I don't even know how harsh PSG fans heart are. They must at least use their mind. PSG was nothing.

I think that if the new player will not be confidence playing in the PSG if the fans will always be acting like 10 years old kid.

It's such a disgrace for PSG fans. They claimed to be fans from the big club in league 1 but they didn't have respect to the each others.

While some could contend that Messi should start thinking about retiring in my opinion he still has a lot to give. I don't think there is anyone who can replace Messi at PSG. There is no doubt that Messi is a very good player. However, his contribution to the PSG team was not much. Messi was the most important player in Barcelona and Argentina's team. But he is not the most important player in the PSG team. Messi scored 16 goals and assisted 16 in Ligue 1 last season. There is no doubt that he has performed well. But it won't be too difficult for PSG to find a replacement for Messi.

last season messi was only able to score a total of 16 goals which was very bad for me because it was far from his previous performance and on the other hand i slightly disagree if you say it's time to retire when compared to top players like Ronaldo, messi is much younger and definitely messi wants a big salary because he has targets for his future.

This season for Messi is like a fighting machine that has lost ammunition where he cannot do anything to attack considering his old age and declining game performance.
As you said he spent all his energy in the last World Cup so when he came back to PSG he lost some playing power.
But he didn't notice his declining form and instead wanted to play for a higher fee so some people couldn't respect him.

When PSG concedes a goal, fans boo Leo Messi as if he's the one on the backlines or the club's goalkeeper. We should give credit to Messi, because he's has done a good job by rendering his service where it matters most for the club, he's a terrific and top-tier player. Leo Messi cannot give PSG the same performance he gave Barcelona and Argentina; he is aged, and certain attributes he lost throughout games. Leo Messi is a global figure in football, as every fan knows, and he has had a successful year in his career.

There's this false narrative that Messi didn't perform well for PSG. It's so false. Messi was the only person that could create chances in that team. PSG lacks creativity. I feel like there's no much motivation from the team. They seemed relaxed and don't want to fight. Then I also feel the whole team kind of wants to play for Mbappe. Messi had 35 assists, 32 goals in 75 games for PSG. THATS 67 goals and assist in 75 games. I know these are low number when it comes to Messi but these are still impressive numbers.
If PSG don't work on their team and get thing right, Mbappe might work alone next season because the two players that create the most chances for them are leaving, Messi and Neymar.

Of a truth it wasn't a great year for Lionel Messi at PSG but  I think it's high time we start to accept the fact that Messi is aging and wouldn't still be performing like the Lionel Messi of 6 to 10 years ago.
He exhausted much energy in the world cup Last year and after the World Cup tournament, he also can back to Paris and still did quite well. PSG fans didn't respect him in his last days at the club which is very poor from them

This year as maybe not a good year for Messi because they didn't respect him as they should respect him, in fact, he didn't get what he had to get from the fans and that's why the performance of this player was not well enough. I think Messi is still a good player and he could help PSG much better than this if they helped this player and gave him a good atmosphere.
