Now that Messi failed, you turned it that PSG refused to get anything from Messi.

Marseille are in fact a really solid team. Because they can get score contribution from every area in their lineup. Even the defenders have made a nice job about that. When it comes to their strikers Alexis Sanchez did a pretty good work with scoring 14 goals. But there is only one reliable striker in the team now and his contract is about to expire by the end of this month as well.

Marseille had better work on this situation. Even if they manage to extend Sanchez's contract they had better sign another younger and reliable striker beside him as well. This would keep the team very productive even in times of an injury.

Aside from that they need to consolidate their defense line as well. Because that was one of the reason why they were trailing behind Lens this season.

When talking about individual abilities and skills I agree but for now put that aside for PSG.
They are just trying to find the best regardless of age so that the hope of becoming an instant club is possible but in fact that slowly has to be changed.
Now in my opinion instead of them trying to be galacticos in france it would be better to find players who fit their style especially looking for younger ones would be much better than continuing to nurture old players who already have a name but whose era is almost over.

It wasn't a great year in Paris for Messi. He hasn't played there for long. He was received with applause, but was regularly booed by the French public in the last period. What would eventually be the reason that he was no longer loved by the public? People came to the stadium to see him, but somehow that has completely changed. it's hard for Marseille to be able to spend a lot of money to buy players because the funds they have are very limited, especially since the prices for top players are so unreachable for them, apart from that it seems that PSG will not buy many players, they are more likely to just keep the existing players.

We can discuss this in different viewpoints. In my opinion, Messi's task at PSG this season is much better than the previous season. Well, a change occurred when one of the stars was injured. It is terrible to see Marseille lose significant points and drifting towards the bottom of the table. They have played poorly only managing to pick up three points in their last five Ligue 1 games. This made it possible for Lens to pass them and take over second place. Marseille may be feeling a little discouraged because they will now have to play in Champions League qualifying games. There is however optimism for progress because a new manager will soon be in place. So, does Lens who managed to finish in second place mean that Lens has spent a lot of money before? To be honest, I personally am not so sure about money if the target is only to win titles in the domestic league, unless Marseille is targeting to do better in European competitions such as in the Champions League and maybe also in the Europa League. So yes, basically maintaining consistency with good results throughout the season will of course be difficult because after all, even PSG, which has a star squad, still cannot be consistent with good results in Ligue 1.

PSG shall have identified the main problem from the club but it seems like that its coach has no capability to build a proper team. It can be seen from how bad the performance from PSG under galtier even though there are so many super stars playing in the PSG.
I hope that PSG will not be signing the garbage coach again. It's enough for PSG wasting so much money for nothing. It's now the time for PSG to be serious to win UCL.
Signing a good coach is a must for the club right now.

It's not just the coach and most likely it's entire club who are lacking a winner mentality outside France. They had the players , they have the budget and yet every year their ego goes bigger than before and now they lost those important key players and they should re-thing to rebuild from next year or maybe ...do something and unite the players more than before.

Who will coach PSG now ? I don't see a great coach being available this summer for them.

Considering the results of the last seasons for Lens, it is possible that Lens established as one of the club competing for the top four or top five. Olympique Marseille needs to improve consistency over the run of a whole season and AS Monaco had the same problems This season Lens deserved its position in the table rankings as they have outplayed the others contestants, but it will be interesting to see whether they can repeat that performance in the upcoming season. If that is the case they might establish themselves long-term and will also have more chances to sign better players.

PSG in this season failed in the champions league and even in French League, they couldn't have a good performance because PSG had only one points difference with Lens and this can't be good for them because compared to Lens they have invested much more money and hired better players, for the next season I think the owners of PSG will start doing some changes to this team and they will hire another coach like Zidane to have better performance.

PSG shall have identified the main problem from the club but it seems like that its coach has no capability to build a proper team. It can be seen from how bad the performance from PSG under galtier even though there are so many super stars playing in the PSG.
I hope that PSG will not be signing the garbage coach again. It's enough for PSG wasting so much money for nothing. It's now the time for PSG to be serious to win UCL.
Signing a good coach is a must for the club right now.
