According to this model, City were able to assemble a strong team, why not PSG follow their path.

Lens success become new competitor for PSG in this season although can't stopping PSG for winning Ligue 1 tittle, but I don't sure with Lens has capacity for consistent performance next season. Still remember with Lille success won Ligue 1 tittle season 2020/21 but when participating in Champion League faced difficult until loss opportunity with domestic league by upcoming season finish on top ten position.

I don't have big expectations from Lens in the league next season to tell the truth. Because I think this is a one-time thing for them in these years just as Lille did a couple of years ago. The difference between these teams is that Lille even won the league title while PSG were losing many points in unexpected matches. PSG have had another season with many point losses in this season but Lens couldn't become as consistent as Lille I'm afraid. This is still very good for them though.

Because nobody was expecting them to be competitive for the Champions League this much at the beginning of the season. Now they are about to join the tournament unless they make a huge mistake in last two matches. However I don't expect them to much thing in the Champions League if they improve the quality of their players more this summer.

Of course winning the Ligue 1 and Super Cup titles are decent things but not enough for a team like PSG. They are still unable to go for the Champions League title or even get very close to doing it. This season their performance there was a big disappointment you know. As Galtier is about to leave I hope that they can find the one for themselves to play much bigger with a squad like this.
