Nice comeback win from lille team today against marseille they finaly manged a win after two games without scoring a single goal these are important points that put them in the fifth spot on the otherhand marseille team will likely be out of the champions league especially if Lens team win tomorrow against Lorient.
A very bad defeat for Marseille, giving Lens the advantage to get away with the second and the last place of Champions League once they get 3 points from Lorient even though the game will not be that easy in my opinion.
Lille got closer to Europa League after Monaco defeat. At some point I find Conference League for them better than Europa League.

I think Neymar isn't an indispensable player for PSG anymore. Yeah he has been very effective in the times he played. We can understand this from his statistics for certain. However he is such an injury-prone player which is a big issue for PSG as a result. They just can't benefit from Neymar's talent as much as possible. At this point there is no meaning in doing their best to keep him here longer.

I will be waiting for PSG to be open for offers to sign Neymar in the summer. I don't even think that there would be so many teams at their door this summer. Because as I said he is an injury-prone player despite being a star and most teams would find his cost to themselves quite high for a player like this. Maybe only a couple of rich teams would try their luck.
Disputes with club officials are also still a real problem for Neymar, it's just that no matter how strong PSG wants to sell the problem with wages for Neymar, it's still hampered so far.
We certainly know that there are still several big clubs that want to bring in Neymar but that ends in failure because Neymar does not want to reduce his salary or rather want the same salary as what PSG is currently giving and of course with his age and current vulnerability in terms of fitness it will many are reconsidering about this.

Talking about Neymar Jr, he is a great player no doubt but being on the PSG side one would think he's going to do incredible things like contesting for best player in Europe but all he has ever won are just domestic trophies. Is just so sad that such a great player like him [Neymar Jr] had to struggle for years with the PSG team without any Champions league trophy.
Well from what have seen I feel Neymar Jr has played all his football at Barcelona and he did excellently well. To me moving to the PSG team is just to make money nothing more and I think there are teams who would require his services but can injury allow him play for long? I don't think so, age is not on his side.

The match was very even in this regard but indeed the second half even though Marseille tried a lot but the chances were clearly better than Lille.
With this result, Lens clearly have an advantage because they can be freed from the pursuit of Marseille and secure the Champions League if in tomorrow's match they bring 3 points from Lorient. But even if they get 1 point in tomorrow's match I think Lens' chances are still very big for next season's Champions League.

It will not be easy bro. Lyon is on 36th while the two others above them is on 35. It will be very hard for them to lose their next match.  Even though Lille will be having a top fixtures, I don't think they will leave that position for Renes or lyon. The season is at it's peak, everyone knows what a point lose could cause. Marseille and Monaco remains unperturbed even at losing their next two matches for that Marseile will be expecting a comfortable ball moment, without giving too much pressure but this will be a different case for lille. I'm not seeing lyon above where they are currently.
the upcoming match Lille will play Marseille which is a little more exciting that the match will be at home to Lille which gives Lille a big chance of winning while Marseille has a strong performance and is not afraid to beat Lille at home. indeed, if you look at the H2H, maybe Marseille has only beaten Lille once, but that is past and now Marseille has improved.
I will not hesitate to support Marseille even though I don't bet on this match.

Lille is winning the game but I didn't think the result help this team t get the fourth pale in the table from Monaco because there is a five-point gap between Lille and Monaco, that's why even if Lille beat Marseille in this match still they need to hope to see Monaco losing some points and give them the chance to take the fourth place of the table otherwise nothing will chance.
With Lille's win in this game the difference is 2 points now and the condition depends on how they play next week because Monaco still have quite a troublesome opponent because Rennes are also still very good this season.
Lille allows them to get full points in their remaining matches because they will face easier opponents especially with the ambition to stick to Monaco so that's very good i think.

With this defeat, Marseille lost the chance to become champions. Although they took the lead in the first half, they couldn't win the match. At the beginning of the second half, Lille won a penalty and equalized the situation. After the goal, Lille increased the pressure and managed to score the winning goal. They had to win this match to keep their place in the standings and they did it.
Out of form Nantes couldn't win at home against Montpellier and are now entering the weeks where they will have problems in the relegation zone. They could have won this game but they couldn't capitalize on the positions they had.

That's not just about this single match in which Marseille lost the game against Lille, if you ask me regarding the French league I can say PSG is the team they are going to win the title and even Lens can't do anything, or even if Marseille wins this match nothing will change because the gap between PSG and other teams is not going to be decreased.

Paris Saint-Germain forward Neymar Jr. has been out with a season-ending ankle injury in February. As a result, it would be surprising for any club, mostly a Premier League side, would be interested; nonetheless, there might be a market.

Foot Mercato reported on Monday, citing sources, that Manchester United has been watching him for several months. The Red Devils did not make any concrete approaches, but they simply inquired about him at the start of the year.

Nonetheless, this target, like others, is put on hold pending the final sale of the club. The French media outlet notes that the English side should expect the arrival of several prominent stars if Qatari investors buy them.

I doubt any club will be interested in Neymar unless the price asked for him will be nothing by PSG and himself accept to reduce his salary, otherwise it will be a huge loss for any team willing to get him especially with his injuries and his special attitude..
For Messi, things are different although his age. Regardless how good he will play, any team will try to pick him even for marketing purposes.

Back to Ligue 1, Lille were able to beat Ajaccio with 3 goals to 0 since the first half. They consolidated their 5th place for the moment.

It is difficult because I know that sometimes Ney is a rather peculiar player in his way of being and playing, but we cannot deny that he is a great player, I would like to see Ney in Saudi football, and Messi should also leave ´ Go there and you are not considering returning to a Barcelona that what you did was treat you badly and take you out through the back door, Messi is really above that, no matter how much friendship you have with Xavi, I don't think that is the right path, For me, things can be done in a better way, and that is by going to football where he is treated as he should be, he is a champion, nobody should whistle for him.

Monaco started to get complacent recently and we saw its reflection on their Lyon game today as well. The first half was nice for Monaco actually but their performance got much worse in the other half. This helped Lyon a lot to get ahead and have a decent goal gap with their opponent as well. This 3-1 victory is really important for Lyon because they are still in the fight for the fifth position to qualify for the ECL.

Lacazette was again one of the bests of the day as usual. Since the day he joined back Lyon it has been like he was born again. He is sharing the first position in top scorers with Mbappe - 26 goals. Despite his high effort they are still not fighting for the Champions League though. Therefore something needs to change for them.
I think Lyon deserves to join the UEFA Conference league. They played very good football in this match. Both Lyon and Lacazette reminded me of their old days. If they continue to play like this, they can finish the league in a better place next season. If Cherki had scored in the position before Lyon's second goal, it would have been the best goal of the French League 1 this season. It might even have been the best goal scored in all leagues. Cherki narrowly missed receiving the Puskas prize. He is one of Lyon's most notable players this season.
Even situation is unpredictable because Lyon were worst in early rounds which bring them down and now their performance is surely better, and they are trying their best for the Conference Cup, but it's never been easy with Lille and Rennes both are doing good and also fighting hard for this spot.

Rennes and Lille both are having some advantages which can help them for having better spot today if we have Lille as winner, or they are able to draw this match then surely things could be tough for the Lyon but in case of Marseille win then surely we can expect some better results for Lyon at the end of this season but right now giving prediction is not easy because all things surely going to happen on ground here just sitting and predicting is never been ideal.
I think that here Marseille has every need to win, they are one of the teams that need the most to be able to excel in Ligue 1, as far as I am concerned this team has everything to be one of the best, of course for the next one This team promises this season, especially as I have seen PSG, which has so many problems, with its players and their way of facing certain things, I think that this is what they should see now, that's why I say, this team must win, it needs more, It must be one of the most prominent in France

Marseille’s Dimitri Payet and Nuno Tavares sidelined by manager over attitude

Quote
Has Dimitri Payet already played his final game for Marseille? With a three-match suspension set to begin next week, the veteran attacking midfielder has been sidelined by manager Igor Tudor ahead of tonight’s match against Lille, according to RMC Sport.

The former French international had been handed the ban by the league authorities after slapping Lens assistant coach Yannick Cahuzac in the defeat to their Champions League spot rivals. Now, as Les Phocéens fly out to the north of France again, they will be without both Payet and Nuno Tavares.

According to RMC, Tudor was unhappy with the pair’s attitude in training this week. In Tavares’ case, the Arsenal loanee’s alleged attitude problems and clashes with the Croatian have been going on for several weeks, and have culminated in the left-back being sidelined from tonight’s squad.

But despite all Odds they lost , I really don't know if I really give this team my vote of confidence , I think they need a better lineup and to be able to have a better position for their players , I see that they are not sweating the shirt and that They lack more hunger to win, I think the players have to encourage themselves much more , Ligue 1 requires a lot of Effort , it is not possible that Everything is always dominated by the same team...

Yes, it's a matter of money. But tell me why should any sheikh invest in Ligue 1 (which have very weak financials) and not in the Premier League or La Liga or even Serie A which is historically more prestigious? I see no reason for this. Even the investment in PSG is said to have been driven by France and Qatar's close ties and political trade-offs.

There you go, you answered the question yourself. It is about politics and greenwashing. The name Paris Saint. Germain is as perfect as it can get if you pursue an agenda that is about more than just sports. Paris is a serious name in the world, it spreads amazingly around the world when they achieve something in sports, and at best to win the Champions League.

When a sheikh invests money into a soccer club, is not about making a profit, it is about presence and influence. You get to talk with the most important officials from the biggest associations around the world. FIFA, UEFA and many more. There are very interesting articles regarding how many engagements the sheikhs already have around the world. There influence in sports is massive. I mean what else can I tell you when Saudi Arabia is going to be the host for the Olympic Winter games? Winter games in Saudi Arabia.

All relations between France and Qatar are not about prestige, but about murky schemes and money. The purchase of PSG, Qatar's winning the right to host the 2022 World Cup in 2010 and the purchase of aircraft by Qatar from France for $15 billion, the emergence of the BeIN Sports channel (Al Jazeera's branch) in France are all links in the same chain. All this was pushed through on bribes and corruption. The Sunday Times journalists described this scheme in some detail and, for example, Blatter himself confirmed many points from that investigation.
This is European football - it's not only a sport, but also dirt, corruption, money laundering and politics.

Lyon got a good score for themselves by beating Monaco. Although this defeat does not pose great risks for Monaco, it will still cause a 2 point difference between them if Lille wins the missing match. Lille has to beat Monaco in order to go to the Europa League. This win of Lyon made Lille fans happy.
I think anything could happen between now and by the end of the season, we could see Lille get the win for that extra game and then beat every other game and be fourth. It's possible and they could go to europa league as well and that would be very good. I know that it's not going to change much because lets face it if you are not ready for it, then conference league could be better for a team at that level.

Anyone who joins conference league, monaco or lille, would have a higher chance to win and that is what I am supporting right now. If they end up being fourth and go to europa, then not only they will face harder teams, but they will lose and come back home a lot quicker as well without earning any cups at all, so maybe conference is better for them.

As I previously predicted that Lyon would be able to beat Monaco at home, a score of 3-1 is very good for Lyon to lock in victory. Lyon dominated the whole match and they scored three goals in two different times, while Monaco only got one goal from the penalty spot in the first half.
This result makes Lyon even closer to Lille and they have the same achievement as Rennes. It looks like Lyon still has a chance of securing a place in the conference league at the end of the season if Lille fails to win against Marseille in tomorrow's match and it is one of the most important games for Lille to retain its current place.
Lyon's performance was surely at the top of the game but now for me, they are already lost their chance for the UEFA competitions because they were worst in early half of this season which bring them down badly and now their performance is surely good, but it's not guaranteed for them to have spot into top five even currently they are at seventh which is also good, but they need to do better in next season for having better results.
Now, after few minutes we will have Lille vs Marseille which is surely another exciting match with the current form of both teams I am going for the Lille win or draw because they are also strong candidate for the fifth spot even they can go for the fourth as well because they are improving their performance in last few matches which will help them for having better spot and next match against Nantes which is in relegation zone will give them good advantage.

39 minutes have been played into the match. Marseille is currently leading by one goal. But I am happy to say that there is no total domination by any team in this match so far. Of course, it is going to be hard for Lille to make a comeback in this match. But the way they are playing I don't think it is impossible.

Marseille actually has to win this match because otherwise, they will be in very big trouble of losing the second position to Lens. It's good that they have been able to score early in the match. They will have to protect this lead and go into the halftime break with it.

Nantes vs Montpellier.

The match will take place today at the Stade de la Beaujoire - Louis Fonteneau stadium.
This is a home match that Nantes has so they must be able to use it well to produce a win.
In the previous match Nantes managed to beat Montpellier with a score of 3 - 0 in that was a humiliating defeat because the match took place at home to Montpellier.
For this match, Nantes lost midfielder Pedro Chirivella due to injury but the possibility of victory can still be obtained by Nantes easily later.
I bet a little on Nantes' win.
Unfortunately, this match ended with score 0-3. Montpellier winning very well in that match, this season Nantes performance has not been very consistent, very sad. It seems like Montpellier will be very satisfied with this result, as you said previously Nantes humiliated them with a score of 0-3, now they can take revenge in this match. Meanwhile Nantes will be very sad with this result because this team is still in the relegation zone, also their next match will be against Lille, I doubt Nantes can get points in that match to get out of the relegation zone.

Lens and Marseille are battling it out in the points table. Marseille are only 2 points behind Lens. If Marseille wins a few more matches, the team will be able to reach the Lens place. But I think its lens will play the next matches very responsibly so that its position in the points table is correct.

There is still a chance but it won't be easy to get, because even if Lille fails to win and has to be shifted, they still have to compete with Rennes who haven't played their match this weekend. Tight competition between the three teams, between Lille, Rennes and Lyon. They will be able to get where they want when they are consistent and that also has to look at the other teams' matches.
