Of course, also a janitor can become a billionaire if there is such a happy event in his life.  It seems to me that a gambler who has been playing gambling for almost all his life may not receive such a chanson as a completely random person can receive.
Lol I have known some people that buying lotto ticket since they’re young but until now in their old days still never got a chance to win even big offers of lottery
So basically this is all about luck and timing
Most of the time bettors of gambling like this making it as a hobby that can give a chance of becoming millionaire in just a matter of days

Very insightful post, I really like the man's choice of words when he wrote "I buy lottery tickets so I can dream". I understand gambling is all about trying your luck but sometimes it's favorable, but don't make it a habit. Also never rely entirely on gambling as source of income.

Many people have a dream to win in gambling games, so they try to buy so many lottery tickets. Some of them can win some money, and the other people have to lose their money but only one person who will win the games with a big jackpot. That will be a person who has luck in the games. We can dream of becoming a winner, but we should remember that playing gambling cannot make us rich and have a lot of money.

This was on the news this week on our local television. A man named Vito Halasan was won a 7M canadian dollars in a draw. He is already on late 50's and is currently working as a janitor and buy lottery tickets for the hope to have a better life. I dont think that this man is lucky but i consider him blessed. They say that gambling isnt the answer to poverty but this man becomes an exception knowing he deserved to won and i know its really for him.

“I buy lottery tickets so I can dream. I dream of being able to take care of my kids and make their future better. Now we’ll be able to buy a nice house for my children and grandchildren,” -  Vito Halasan

In every rule, there is an exception but we also should not compare his life to us. The universe wants to make him win because of some particular reasons. If you devote your money and time with gambling, you will end up with a life completely opposite to him. Hardwork and dedication is really the key.

I am a born gambler and I understand what Vito said. Buying tickets to dream is what we do. I have this writing above the head of my bed - "impossible is nothing" and it pushes me to keep trying. Many are saying gambling is bad but what is bad is alcoholism, addiction to drugs not gambling.

You've got to be confident enough to win big like Vito. However I do hope he manages the funds he has made well and should be wary of parasites - the very people that will cast aspersions on you when you're gambling will still turn back to beg for cash.

Gambling is bad if an individual is addicted to it same as alcohol or drugs, or anything that is too much will always be bad for people. Nothing is impossible as long as you work hard, Vito was a janitor and not a gambler, he just simply had a dream to give his children a better future, and luckily he got that in gambling. I'm sure even him didn't expect that to happen. Now he can retire, have his own business and make his dreams come true.

That is if he had that mentally now to spend and live lavishly. Hitting the winning jackpot in a lotto will change your life 360. But you also need to understand that all your money can disappear as well if you don't know how to take care of it.

Specially ordinary folks with this sudden luck. I'm not judging him, but most of the time those winners will just spend their money on everything until such day that they realized that all their money is gone and it's gonna be too late.

But the morals is that everyone can dream big.

For me, it's a lucky and also blessed moment for him. We know that there are so many people buying lottery tickets and hoping that someday it will change their lives and this person had his moment in life. This kind of fortune is one of the ways by GOD; I believe that GOD'S always works in mysterious ways. Smiley

That is right. GOD will always work in a mysterious way, we could not predict what will happen later. And if that person can win much money in the gambling games, then GOD is behind him and help him to win the games. I think that is happening to all people but some people get a big reward because he did one good thing.

But people must remember that when they played gambling, they cannot hope to win because that will depends on the luck. So people could play without thinking to win or not.

What happened to him is a dream of a lifetime and he is lucky to have experienced what so many of us are just dreaming to happen at least once in his lifetime, he knows that because he dreamed and makes a bet regularly I'm sure he will allocate a portion of his winnings to poor people like him once before.
He's lucky for real, not everyone who has a dream and keeps on betting regularly will reach what he has reached. But he has no obligation of helping other people as he wants to secure himself and his family first.

But who knows if this guy will share his fortune with the unfortunate people he comes home. A guy like him deserves to have this kind of fortune and he's been working hard with his job and you can see his humility for staying at his job but he should start retiring. I wish to see some updates about him.

He have that opportunity to do so but who knows what his plans, he's really lucky changing he's life now and enjoy those winnings together with his family, it's a dream come true indeed and probably if not all it's most of us dreams, maybe someday if luck also  permits things to happen to anyone of us it will also be the luckiest day of our life.
When luck has taken your side then you will get it too, that's why pure luck will not come every time you bet and when you believe luck will come at least you will be confident and continue to do it without boredom and despair despite having lost a lot every time the experiment.

Congrats to him, but he is definitely an anomaly. Work smart/hard....unless you're in a horrible economy  Cry

It is actually the main reason why most of the lottery bettors are from the lowest department of the society. You are right tho that some of this people have succeeded by being wise in making decisions for their life but others didn't or is not capable of doing it.

That is just how destiny works if it's your time then its your time, I also think this guy was having a lot of good deeds in his life to deserve this kind of blessings.

Maybe there are many people who are too much poor and if they live the routine life, they won't be able to change their fate. The gambling is the only source which can make a very poor person to rich one but it happens only once every 1000 or more.

Yes right he was just lucky and to win from the lottery you certainly need to have a big luck beside you, there's people who don't expect things like this but just hoping to win and this man is one of those who been given a chance to win and now to enjoy the lucky earnings to what extent he wants.
I think its the right time for him to win on that lottery. What a lucky man indeed.

Many people everyday are betting in the lottery hoping that they will win and this man just won millions of dollars. A life changing event for him.

I don’t believe in superficial or celestial thing, there is no such thing as celestial involvement the guy is just lucky that he won the jackpot. It is inspiring to know that someone with this status in life was lucky to win the jackpot and that he spend it wisely unlike other who spend it lavishly until nothing left.
I don't believe on that too. If you are destined to win then you will and vice versa. No celestial things or whatever. It is inspiring yes but don't take it as an inspiration and you will spend all of your money in lottery hoping that you will win too like what happened to the janitor.

I think there was no celestial involvement to particularly pick this man (even if he deserved it) or any other higher order but rather pure chance and he just got what we call "lucky". I suppose after buying lottery tickets for what was a few decades ago a lifetime by the odds are relatively probably that  you'd end up getting something in return. In his case, he just got damn lucky and good for him. Though, I do not think this is an example people should use as the outcome is very probabilistic.

The superficial or celestial thing is there although we don't believe and that thing is to exist in around us. And related to this case, he really got so big lucky in the game, so he won the jackpot. But not all people can have the same luck as him because I think that will be once in a lifetime of the lucky that he gets and he never can get it again in the next future.

We can hope to get that lucky, but we don't have to spend everything we have to case the luck because the luck itself will only come to the right people.

Those people don't control their emotion when they've win huge amounts of monry. They think that it won't run out quickly that they can do anything they want. It doesn't come up to their minds that it is harder to earn money than to earn it. It's ok to buy or experience things you haven't before you don't have that amount of money but don't spend all of it just for that purpose, remember that it takes one in a million for someone to win in a lottery.

I think that we should take into account the fact that most of the people who hit the jackpot have never experienced excitement to the extent that most gamblers experience it.
You get it all wrong buddy cause that's not always the issue of hitting the jackpot because the winning numbers are selected erratically and only the luckiest person will hit the jackpot. However, I believe the reason why you said those who are yet to experienced excitement are those who hit the jackpot was because only people who are in need of money gambling because of the reward involve.
