Today, I can tell you that my rank distance from Hero rank is 150 merit. I have fulfilled one of the conditions (activity point), so I think now I just need to think about how I can get one of the other conditions, which is merit. It may take a long time, but I'm sure it will be achieved.
Don't worry buddy, Hero Member has been seen, one of the conditions you need is an additional 150 Merit to go there. I've reviewed some of your posts and left some merits there, the addition of some Merits that you just received certainly won't get you promoted to Hero Member, at least it can speed up your steps for promotion to a higher level.Always do what's best for the forum, you can do it slowly, without realizing it, you've reached the desired rank.
At this point, I hope that all your efforts will never be in vain because there are basically a lot of forum users who want to help you rank up. I just think you guys don't have to whine and complain about how to get the merit because most of you already know how it works. Just do what you've been doing all this time, and enjoy the journey until you actually get there.
The fact is that 1000 merit is not something that is impossible for anyone of you who has a good quality post. So try to always improve and keep what you already have. Anything is possible, so be patient and enjoy it so you don't have to keep announcing your countdown every time when few merit add up.

Every user who hasn't earned 1000 merit for rank up to Legendary still has to fight for it. I mean, every one of them should try hard to make the best out of the quality of the posts, myself included. hi @Patrol69, you have good posts but you have to break your post-bursting habit (I saw some of your posts in posts in a short time between 1 post and another), give a minimum pause of 10 minutes - 15 minutes for the next post. I hope you are lucky to grow to the rank of a full member.

Successfully ranking up is very fun, I've also felt the same feeling when I was successfully promoted to a Hero member. -146 merit is not something that is impossible to get, you can get more than you need if you are able to maintain post quality.
Your chance to be in the Sr Member rank is very big if you want to continue to learn and try consistently, previously there were very many users who managed to rank up as a result of their efforts to improve the quality of posts. Stay optimistic buddy, you have to be sure the Merit system don't prevent anyone from ranking up.

I don't think you wanted to beg for merits by doing what you did, and i have seen many member's do the same thing in some topics in the forum, what i feel is that it isn't necessary, and i have read where merit sources have said you should not thank them for giving you merits because that is what they ought to do, give out smerits, you can 'thank' them by giving out your own smerits to other members and helping out around the forum with what you know. But as a form of gratitude, I think this is the right expression for those who have helped us in the forum.And I believe, sMerit should continue to function as it should, and that's why we do it.
