My thought too, and with this am more than certain there are more merits to go around from ordinary members than merit sources themselves! And if we the ordinary members took time to read other people's posts and reward the deserving this could give m-sources some time off reading/reviewing our good, bad, ugly posts week in week out! Put oneself in a merit source shoes, I feel the extra effort it needs from these guy's #hats_off_to_you_MVPs

I'm not a fan or hoarder of sMerit, to be honest I own a few and will try to get some more good posts from anyone. That's how the merit system works, when you need other users to rank up with merit distribution, then you also have the right to help others so that the merit flows to whoever you think is entitled. Every merit you share with them will really help them to get closer to the rankings, especially for anyone who needs merit to rank up.

There's no point hoarding smerit, it won't do you any good except when you distribute it to those who make good and useful posts. For you and the others, congratulations on ranking up. Your struggle is not over, there are still ranks that you must achieve up front and maintain your quality.

If you're not a good poster then I'm sure today you probably won't be able to merit much from 60 different users. I think you just need to be patient and do something better than beat yourself up while celebrating the success of other users. It is important to feel confident in your own ability to achieve something, even if it takes a long time.

Your merit to the next rank is less than 100, so it shouldn't be too much when you've managed to get 85% more so far. Less than 15% you will qualify for rank up to Hero, so don't be discouraged.

Everyone could feel it if they put in the effort, the Merit system never prevented anyone from ranking up if they knew how it worked.

I see you are very happy to see @indah rezqi who just managed to rank up to Hero, I hope the success of @indah rezqi can be a motivation for you to follow in his footsteps. I think you can do it, now you only need an additional 71 merit to go to Hero Member.

Start improving the quality of posts and engage in interesting discussions to achieve your goals, when you've managed to reach higher rankings, I'm pretty sure your tiredness will pay off. There is always a way for anyone who wants to try and be consistent in improving the quality of posts, do their best and achieve a new rank that can make you feel proud because you have managed to reach a higher level.

You are one of those whose rank up made me happy. Your year of registration dated back like mine and the slow pace to rank up was like mine too. But eventually you made it. Only those who make efforts will rank up, not just everybody. Celebrate yours anyway you like, there is nothing shameful about it. Keep making meaningful posts as usual.
