You can't just add "speed" to the transaction. The transactions are always almost instant. It is the confirmation speed you should be taking about. This confirmation speed depends totally on the network. If the network is on heavy load and multiple transactions are taking place, then the confirmation time will take longer depending on the fee you have placed. The fee also rises with the network load. We should be focusing on these.

In my opinion Crypto is a substitute for transactions, not as a substitute for conventional currency. Crypto makes it easy to transact internationally without having to use a third party, a bank.
Crypto's presence also makes it easy for us to send conventional money to anyone. Suppose we want to send EURO money, whereas we only have USD. It is enough for us to buy Bitcoin and then send it to that person and then exchange to EURO.

I am an optimist in life, so I think that the best thing you can think of is of course a story with an improvement in the situation with cryptocurrency. Therefore, it seems to me that in the future everything will be great, we just need to wait and everything will be fine.
That's a good set of words, yes in the future everything is going to be great. It's a tough road for the moment when we're just looking to day to day charts and never appreciate on how the market is doing because we just can't appreciate it due to our higher expectation after the massive bull run that went live last 2017.
We all know cryptocurrencies are struggling to come back to the better position nowadays it will be the main problem for investors to stay here and hold their investment so my opinion is definitely some changes will needed in this time to keep the investors strong without any fear otherwise the investment made by them will withdraw by them to invest and any other field.
I assume that the powers that be will not allow such development of a situation as they (in fact) will release the power from the hands, and it for them is not acceptable. So in the near future there will be several centralized cryptocurrencies that will be actively promoted.

An anonymous transaction is a good thing. But it's not good at some sides. No one can trace the who send and who receive that. In the government side, the decentralized system is very dangerous. Drug deals, Black money whitening is very easy with crypto transactions. I shouldn't have to say that. but it's the true dark side of the crypto transactions. I'm pretty sure there will be a place for the cryptocurrency in the future. But there will be more restricted rules and laws as well.
At the moment, the picture is really unclear about cryptocurrency, whether it will rise or go downhill. With the increased use of crypto assets in daily use routine, hopes it will grew more broader, but in spite of broader usage, more and more scams are coming, exchange hackings, the future of crypto is not really uncertain.
