for myself, I use crypto currency for investment and trading, but I also use it for transactions because it is easy to use and can be used anywhere, maybe all people in the future can use this feature for transaction and there will be many more who use the eyes this crypto money.
Well the government's of every country need to announce this cryptocurrency as a legal one then we can see the exchanges will definitely happen in big industries and in corporate forums. The future of cryptocurrency is still unimaginable in my opinion but the market need a change.

Scalability always being a problem on cryptocurrency, example like Bitcoin everyone always debate about that. But atleast we already have some solution for that Segwit & Lightning Network. To be honest for future cryptocurrency always make some new progress about their development.
