The future of ethereum is still quite strategic if we want to invest in it. I myself have made several altcoin investments that are quite risky. greed in taking profits makes me often lose, but by analyzing and also determining profit and stop lose for losses makes my investment more measurable
One of the main advantages of altcoins is that by their nature they serve as an alternative to Bitcoin. If the almighty Bitcoin crumbles, there are altcoins to fall back on. Furthermore, many altcoins actually have a unique function, many altcoins offer different systems and processes to Bitcoin and have a greater scope to evolve in the future. XRP and Ethereum, for example, are two different altcoins that have been widely adopted and used in many industries.

It's okay to buy altcoins in market's bear condition but don't forget to set a stop loss.
Make sure you've doing trade on exchanges that have stop loss feature if you can't monitor your trade all the time. It will saved you from big dip

I believe altcoin will be very promising in the next few years but for this to happen, the market needs a lot of changes because the investment needs this year are still very low.

Yeah. They will last obviously. Those coins that will still get support from its community and investors, they will only die if those will be gone. And as for those coins that were made for hype, expect that they will be no longer part of the crypto craze within few years.

Cryptos market has turned to survival of the fittest obviously bitcoin and ethereum had survived already other altcoins like LTC, BCH,XRP, TRX, and some few others with a good project will also survive while the rest might turned out to be shits and abandoned its on record that binance exchange has delisted some shit coins and I am very sure more coins without future will also be removed in a nut shell only few coins will survive in a long run.
It's too risky if you invest your money in new coins, because most new coins now only become shitcoin in the wallet, except if you see that the project has great and clear product. I personally do not like investing with new coins because it is full of risk.
many scam ICOs make people affraid of buying new coins, it is reasonable bcz investors dont wanna lose their moneynew fundraising system is IEO, i think IEO is better (safe) for investing in new coins
we can look at binance IEO, many coins launched succesfully and have good development

no one can know with certainty the development of crypto or altcoin currencies if indeed conditions are worsening now it has become a risk in investing and I am sure in the future it will improve slowly and investor interest will be even greater in investing with crypto or altcoin currencies the possibility of legality become a major problem for conditions like now
Most of the alt coins already death. More than 650 projects not added even one single code. Also market conditions show that alt coins looking for new all time lows to themselves.
We see a few green days and then a few red weeks. Projects without team going worst every day. Strong coins which are at top ranked try to fight against market conditions. These coins like ETH BNB LTC will survive and god bless the future of other coins.

Low-volume coins will be removed from the market. New investors are not entering the market. A new story must be written for this. Bitcoin is no longer a legend. The price crashed from the very hills to the floor. We need a new thrill. Then the money will flow to alternative coins.
Impact low volume coins will be failed in the long run. But for those dead projects new investors will something confused and crypto market is looks worst. Almost 3000 altcoins are added in the coinmarketcap but i think over 2000 coins are already dead so i think dead coins should be remove from CMC. If new potential projects will not come in the market than how new investors will enter in the crypto space. 
Altcoin was created by someone to get a profit, so in its implementation, they are looking for investors to develop their projects and investors will benefit, if indeed it is a legitimate project and has good potential for the future. So investing in the top 10 altcoins in cmc I think there are still a lot of takers and there are still many who invest not only in the top 10 coins in cmc, even in IEO projects, many invest as long as their projects promise for the future

Investors trend to invest in new coins more and if that coin has good technology and get the attention of people then surely it is the project that you should invest. In fact, some technology projects like Atom are gaining popularity and are ranking very high in recent months. I think that if you choose to invest in technology projects, the chance of making a profit will be higher than other normal projects.
saturated market conditions make some traders choose to staking altcoin with dividend programs. The future of altcoin is very good depending on the progress of the continuity of the developer / community, and they will continue to prioritize market principles that persist in supply and demand. these two points form special functions, and if one of them does not work then the opposite will apply.
altcoin with the concept of giving dividends in my opinion is not so good. because some will not last long. I have followed a system like this with Minexcoin and no less than 1 year can not survive in a fluctuating market condition. there is no stability. but it all depends on everyone whether they believe or not on the project
