I assume that those people who wants to have fun in gambling with their friends are rich people, because there is no person who lives a normal life that would happily go to gambling everyday just to have some fun even though he knows himself that playing gambling could result on losing money in exchange for entertainment. But the point here is "We are losing money" and money is important, just like what he said it is not easy to be earn so we have to value it more.

Sometimes knowing your limitation is not enough to avoid losing money in gambling, because sometimes you go beyond your limitations just to satisfied yourself.

When the person is saying that he/she is just playing for fun but gambles every single day regularly, I think he is not playing for fun anymore and is just addicted already to gambling and chasing previous loses.

We are entitled with our own decision in gambling, although we may say that it will only lead us to financial problem but there are people
who are enjoying gambling, this people has the control and even though they loss, the happiness during gambling will justify it, therefore, we should only gamble for fun, instead of profit as it's gonna be a hard journey.

Exactly, non-gamblers wouldn't understand what's going on the minds so its easy for them to say whatever they want and justify that gambling is very bad. However, for gamblers who have control of their habit and have total control, you can't blame they for loving it. It gives them fun and entertainment even though we are losing big money in gambling, weird but true.

Gambling is really not a good way of making money, the pprobability to gain is lesser than losing. We can't control people to stop entering this gambling because most of rich persons find the happiness in here. There are different gamblers, the one is capable of doing it for fun and the other one is doing it to gain money that leads to bankrupt.

Continue if you have your limitation,money and mind set that you are just doing it for fun. Never depend your families future in gambling because if it just fail you.

gambling will always tempt people to play more and more without thinking about the loss of the money that they can make. and if they still playing gambling every time, slowly, they can become an addicting person in gambling and they will get the hard way to get out from the gambling itself. besides that, they will lose their money and makes them difficult to recover their money and they can get another loss in the next day. so you need to reduce your activity in the gambling and you need to think about how if that money you have, you save on your wallet or you can invest in the other thing so you can make a profit.

Well I believe in luck for the first timers, due to this some are entertain and want to do it again.

When we are stress, we always look for something that will divert our attention. But some find it in gambling, without knowing that it might be the reason on losing their money.

It is okay to gamble if you have money but discipline your self to limit your self in gambling. Never let your self to do things that is not right and will just ruined your life.

Not all of the gamblers out there are like you that can control greed and emotion when playing gambling, most of the gamblers are addicted in gambling because they are the exact opposite of you. Addiction in gambling not only comes because of your greed or emotions, sometimes you continue on playing gambling because you made a choice, a choice that you won't stop until you make profits on it.

A very bad choice though. Another one is that when you won big in gambling, there is no way on stopping instantly, because you think you are going to win again, so you continue even though you are losing most of the time.

indeed addictions starts from casual game turned into a habit. Just like any things we usually do, when it becomes a habit, it is most likely to become a second nature to us and before we know it, we are already addicted to a certain thing - and in this case, gambling.

Why so negative? I gamble pretty often, call it as a, habit, but I do not count myself addicted and nobody suffer from that for sure. I usually play free tournaments or play with mBTCs from signature campaigns' payments. So it's innocent gambling and the one thing which suffer is maybe my own, cause of I could spend this time somehow different, for example, to improve my English or to learn another language.

addiction dont also occur in gambling because addiction do also occur on any other things like addiction on alcohol , addiction on eating , addiction on playing video games , etc ... i am also addicted before on many things but i control my self because i know that being addicted is bad and will cause some seriuos problems in the long run .

Good for you, then. I'm like you, I used to gamble but I was able to stop. On the other hand, not everyone's like us.

Others have become emotionally dependent on gambling. Whenever we win, our brain releases dopamine which feels really good. It's a feeling that gamblers are looking for that's why they keep on betting. Over time, our brain gets used to this feeling and we are needing more 'dosage' of it. Your brain has already built up tolerance. It's pretty much the same as drug addiction where druggies are needing higher dosage than before just to feel the same rush that they initially had. Stopping the supply of the dopamine will result to withdrawal and depression. The brain of an addict has been rewired and now that the supply of dopamine has been stopped, it's trying to go back to normal which feels really unpleasant to the owner.

I agree with you, this happens with most of the gamblers. They think that they could recover everything even if they busted their money. For me, I have experienced big wins and loses from different gambling sites. But, I am controlling myself to not to put all of my hard earned money in gambling. I am not a regular gambler, that might be the reason why I control myself. There are people gambling this way and it is possible.
